Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Wilmot

We chose this particular house for our first Annual Girls Weekend. We can be picky and had specific criteria we were looking for. This house met all of it. The house was spotless, well equipped, and cozy. The bedrooms were lovely, and the beds were so comfortable! I actually sent the host a message to inquire about the specific mattress in the lower level bedroom. It was that good. The view was the kicker for us. The sunrises coming over the mountains each morning were just beautiful. The hot tub was used almost every day we were there. And we definitely utilized the gas stove in the lower level. One addition our group thought would be great, was a big comfy chair in the living room. But the couch was comfortable, and we used floor pillows to hang out. After posting photos from our trip, we had several people asking for the details. I would love to come back in the summer or fall to be able to take advantage of the Lake and catch some foliage! Overall, great stay, would stay again!

Julie is such a kind, thoughtful, and responsive host! The cottage is adorable and offered everything we needed. It was so cozy; it was hard to leave! I absolutely loved how dog friendly Julie is and the cottage reflects that as well. There were dog beds, blankets, toys, leashes, and clean-up bags available to us! The outdoor space is lovely and provided great walk opportunities for us and our two big pups. We loved our stay and hope to come back again!

Great home and Kristen was a great host and communicator! The home was clean, and water pressure was great for showers. The mattresses in the first floor (entrance level) room could have been a little comfier (spring mattress), but not a huge deal at all. If you prefer liquid body wash, be sure to bring your own as only bar soaps are provided. There are also no hair dryers, so be sure to bring your own if you want that as well. Fireplace was great to make the space feel even cozier. Area was quiet, peaceful, and private. Great value option for bigger groups!

We had a great weekend in Alton at Liz’s place. Liz was super responsive in the weeks leading up to our trip - and the house exceeded our expectations. Definitely the highlight of our summer.

Not only would I stay again. I will seek it out when I return next year.

We had an amazing stay at Duncan’s place! It was perfect for our group, with lots of space to hang out and relax. The property is beautiful and very peaceful, we loved walking down to the river and enjoying the sounds of nature. The view from the master bedroom is stunning in the mornings! The location is very private and is only a short drive into town. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a wonderful retreat in nature!

I loved this visit so much. The guest house was absolutely immaculate, cozy, and inviting. I was there by myself, but felt very safe. Bonnie and her husband were very friendly and kind. I loved looking out the windows in the morning with a cup of coffee. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind.

Comfortable stay in a beautiful location. Heidi's was exactly what we expected and good value. The views in pretty much every direction from her home are just stunning this fall and we loved stepping outside each morning by quiet Opechee Lake. Our Labrador had a great time too with lots of space to run around.

Great stay! Kristin and Marty were amazing hosts and were very responsive. The place was very comfortable and clean, and the little touches like seasonal decorations, bagels and cream cheese, and creamer for coffee were so nice! I would absolutely recommend this place for a stay in Keene.

Tatsiana was probably the best host I’ve ever communicated with. She was super helpful with check-in instructions and any time we had a question or needed something she got immediately back to us. She also allowed us to check in early after having driven 24 hours. We really appreciated her hospitality. It made the stay that much better!! The apartment is exactly like the pictures. Definitely functional for a family and comfortable. The kitchen cooking stuff is a bit sparse to make meals but great restaurants are very close by. Comfortable beds and a quiet neighborhood added to our stay as well as ample off street parking and our dog got to join as well! Definitely family friendly and conveniently located. I would definitely consider staying here again.

It was great stay with family, had wonderful time at house and it was clean and neat. We stayed two nights and everything was perfect.

This stay exceeded our expectations! We stayed here for a week over the holidays and were truly grateful to have this space to come back to in the evenings for rest. The decor was intentional and interesting, and fit well with the fashionable open layout. The kitchen was well stocked with pans, utensils, and appliances, and the large dining table was great to have. We were comfortable every night and enjoyed the close proximity to Main Street and had a nice time walking our pup around the neighborhood. Patti was very responsive when helping us extend our stay. Thank you! We will definitely try to stay here again if we are back in the area!

We stayed in the separate wing (3 rooms with a shared living room). The Inn (including rooms) is exquisite.. full off historic charm and with a lot of attention to detail. The Innkeeper / Our host, Andy, was wonderful , anticipating every need of our rather large party (7 people) and going above and beyond to make sure we have a perfect stay. We look forward to coming back!

Such a great deal considering the price and amenities. The location was quite a drive from our destination but it was close to other places like Okemo and Woodstock. Beautiful surroundings. A warm full size pool in the winter time is unbeatable. Place was clean when we arrived. The building was quiet and peaceful. No issues with noise nor difficulty with checking in.

Great stay at this location. Owner was friendly and very responsive. This is a large home with a bedroom on the main floor and 4 others upstairs. The kids room we call the Peter Pan room as it is right off of another room with twin beds. So cute! The house has tall ceilings and big rooms with real beds in each one to suit your guests. The home is a very special place where you are minutes to Woodstock but have true privacy and amazing views. A great stay. Will be back soon.

Really nice place it had lots of fun amenities! My only complaint is that there were some basics that were missing from the kitchen (salt, pepper, olive oil, cutting board etc.).
