Holiday houses in Wilkesdale

The most peaceful place we’ve ever stayed. It was relaxing to be in nature. The house was immaculate and perfect for our family.

Our family including Monty the dog had such a cosy, comfortable stay here during our visit to Blackbutt while cycling the nearby Brisbane Valley Rail Trail. The home is a beautifully renovated old Queenslander complete with modern and old-fashioned amenities including tea-riffic porcelain teacups, teaspoon display and board games. Drizzly weather meant we ended up cycling from Blackbutt instead of Yarraman so we weren’t limited to the contents of our bike panniers as envisaged - but having stayed we now know it’s a perfect cycling stop for a family or group with supplies to hand nearby at the renowned Blackbutt Bakery, the Blackbutt Hotel (complete with live classic old country music crooner on the Saturday night we stayed), and mini supermarket on the main road. Thanks for hosting such a lovely stay!

Rustic, comforting and warm - Everything you want at the Bunya Mountains. We had the best time relaxing in the house after lovely green, fresh walks nearby. Lovely deck to watch the birds and wallabies from. The Tavern minutes away had great food too. Peter was delightful to communicate with. Highly recommended!

My last minute request to use the property allowed me to spend some very special days with my grandkids. I had a very tight schedule and Chantell responded quickly to my questions. The house was very well laid out, aircon was fantastic, beds were super comfortable. My grandkids all LOVED having a sleepover with me, the big yard and all the play things. The adults enjoyed the calm feel of the house and chatting on the back deck watching the kids play. I will definitely stay here again.

Lovely little studio with just about everything you need. Loved taking an afternoon stroll around the farm and down the roads. Very friendly hosts, Karyn responded to my questions quickly and allowed me a late checkout with grace. The WiFi is a little slow but I had plenty of phone reception to use my hotspot so it wasn’t a problem.

Wonderful well-equipped little caravan with great hosts in a lively location. All the facilities you could need. Very friendly hosts. Felt welcomed. Will be back.

Wendy is a lovely host who goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is as ideal as possible. The area is such a beautiful and peaceful place with lots of space to roam and animals galore :) I loved the calm space to decompress and my furry freeloaders enjoyed exploring and smelling all the new smells. We hope to visit again soon!
