Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Wilkes County

This home was the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in! Seriously, you don't need to bring anything except your clothes and food because everything else is provided! Melinda and Craig were wonderful hosts and their home is BEAUTIFUL! Everything is super clean, tidy, and smells wonderful. All the small details make you feel right at home! The surroundings are so peaceful and exactly what you'd want for a mountain getaway! We can't wait to come back!

Its a relatively secluded area. The place is very cozy and clean. We loved the indoor fireplace and my son and I traded off on the piano. The outdoor fire pit is a nice area but I would like to see more seating in that area. Bring some chairs and its not issue. Water was not a steady temperature but its only a minor issue and that's expected with being so secluded. The road up there turns to gravel about half way there. I didn't need 4WD but if its snowy or too rainy it could be an issue in spots. Loved the place, already wanting to plan another trip up.

This cabin was everything my girlfriend and I needed for a perfect getaway. The mountain views were absolutely stunning, creating the most peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The cabin itself was cozy, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. From the beautiful scenery to the quiet, private setting, it was the perfect escape from the busy day-to-day. The hosts were communicative and made sure our stay was seamless. We will definitely be back again and highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a serene mountain retreat!

The pictures do not do this property justice….the home & landscaping are awesome! It was too cold & windy for us to spend much time outside but that swing sure looked inviting, lol. And those who ventured to go out loved the hot tub! We booked Michael’s place bc our daughter’s birthday fell on Thanksgiving this year and having the double ovens, along with many pots & pans to cook with definitely made that task doable! One thing I wanted to share bc it’s usually important for our group when we travel, is the bedroom locations. Bedroom 1 is the only one located on the lower level. Bathroom is unattached. Bedroom 3 is the primary on the main level, with an attached primary bathroom. Main level also has a half bathroom. Bedroom 2 & bedroom 4 (bunk room) are on the upper level. Upper level tended to be a little cold for us while sleeping, but again, it was super cold & windy during our stay. And running the main level fireplace forced that hot air upstairs. We had a great & relaxing stay!

Everything was perfect, very clean and in such a great location a walking distance to downtown west Jefferson. I enjoyed my stay very much! Highly recommend

We loved Susan's home. If she will have us, we will definitely stay again soon. The people of the Jefferson and West Jefferson area are amazing real people. I highly recommend visiting the area.

We had a blast celebrating the new year with friends and our young children. The place was a perfect set up. Open concept, cozy, comfortable beds. In the evenings we had a fire in the fireplace with the provided wood. Nice touches like plenty of towels and bathrobes provided for all guests. The hot tub was fantastic. Worked like a charm. The en-suite bathroom doubled as our baby's room with ample space for a pack n play. Well decorated with not many knick-knacks or breakables, which I appreciated with the little ones around. We mostly stayed at the cabin, but did venture out for a nearby hike along the Blue Ridge Parkway (<10 min drive).

Great new Airbnb in beautiful West Jefferson. The space is so tastefully decorated with great use of space. Very close to charming downtown. Cari even left us a gift card for Blue Deer which was just across the street!

This bottom floor apartment was in a gorgeous, quiet neighborhood that was close to all the West Jefferson places we like to visit. It was clean and organized. I loved the little “extra thoughtful amenities” that were available if you forgot things from home. My favorite part was sitting on the porch drinking coffee relaxing while two hummingbirds hovered for a minute.

Kelly was a great host and very responsive to us. Our stay was great. The house was exactly what we were looking for. The beds are very comfortable. And the coffee shop downstairs was wonderful. Great place great people. Will be back. Thanks 😊

Simply more than expected. It was the perfect location for us as we attended a wedding in the area. Parking was covered, a nice touch. The shared pool, we had to ourselves the entire weekend. View was very pleasant. The one thing that stood out was the Host. We had a small hiccup during our stay and Lesa responded quickly and was more than happy to help us out. I’m very happy with our stay. Thanks.

Ken's place was perfect for a long 3 night New Year's Eve visit. The location is perfect right on the main street in town. We never moved our car. Everything was within walking distance. Lots of restaurants, two breweries, and many wonderful stores to shop in. Our friends and my husband and I enjoyed the loft. It was very spacious for relaxing in the den. Also, there were two full bathrooms. We would highly recommend stay there.

We were thrilled with our 4-night stay on Revelation Ridge! The house was clean and beautifully decorated, the kitchen had everything we needed and the view was absolutely spectacular. We spent lots of time out on the deck. It is a 16 minute ride up the mountain road, but well worth the drive. Daniela was very responsive to our questions and provided clear check-in and check-out instructions, as well as driving directions. It was a beautiful and peaceful place to get away!
