We loved our holiday at Nick's chalet! Check-in and out was extremely easy and the accommodation was lovely and very clean. It was so peaceful to sit outside on the patio watching the sea and the beautiful surroundings. We would love to stay there again in the future. Thank you for making our holiday so comfortable 😊

Pen Cliff-Seaside chalet and sea view garden.

EdwardRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Pen Cliff suited us perfectly and we had a wonderful week of walking, swimming and exploring and relaxing (and bbqs) at the chalet. Its charm is its cosiness, privacy and tranquillity whilst being part of the village and close to the amenities and the sea. The chalet is exactly as depicted in the detailed photos, which helpfully show the parking area just 20 yards down from the coastal path and the little gate to the garden which is 20 yards along the coast path. Other reviews comment on the main bed and electricity cost - the bed is firm but it is comfortable and the electricity cost was a reasonable £18 for the week despite us cooking, using the heated towel rail and having lots of showers. The shower by the way is superb, very powerful. Note that we didn't have a mobile phone signal (O2) in the locale but internet via the chalet Wi-Fi is fine. (June 2024)

A great location to use as a base for the surrounding areas of North Cornwall, we visited, Tintagel, Boscastle, Rock, Polzeath, Wadebridge & Padstow all easy journeys and quick to get to. The lodge was lovely, clean and fresh with many thoughtful additional touches by the hosts, 5* communication and thoroughly recommended.... you will not be disappointed!

3 bedroom lodge at Whitsand Bay Fort

LindaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a really lovely stay at Alison’s Lodge. From the moment we walked in we felt at home, the place was spotless and immaculate, and the view stunning! The lodge kitchen was very well equipped, there were plenty of towels for the four of us, it was well heated and excellent for our needs. There was a big car park just past the Reception building, then we used a trolley provided to take our bags to the lodge. The only negative was that the WiFi didn’t work, so we used our data mostly, if we needed to access something on our phones. Other than that we can absolutely recommend this stay!

Self-catering caravan, great location.

DaleRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Easy to get to using post code. Views were fabulous, caravan clean only downside was beleagured with flies, however, they were on front window inside van but did not bother us regards being around us or on food etc but I think maybe a citronella candle or similar would help. Flies I presume are down to being on a working farm but in the van they do need looking into. The holiday itself was great and couldn't have asked for better weather and beaches nearby for dogs to go on, downside is the lanes are very narrow and you need to be careful of oncoming traffic and tractors. Plenty of hot water and beds were very comfortable for a caravan, bonus there :-) Overall experience was great and we would use the caravan again but must remember to bring citronella candle or fly spray and lots of it lol but we would like to say this is not non starter just a slight blip and the hosts have a nice part of Cornwall and its quiet and serene with great views nice and relaxing

Pretty chalet in Cornwall

AstridRating, 5 stars6 months ago
The chalet is placed in the middle of a holiday village, directly next to the tennis/volleyball net and the swings. Our children enjoyed the spot because there were always plenty of other children around, playing until 10 pm. The chalet itself is cosy, with a bit of a vintage touch and the atmosphere of many happy family holidays, well equipped with games and sports equipment for outdoors. The kitchen and furniture is a little old-fashioned as well, so it make take some time until pans and pots are heated on the old electric cooking oven, but when you are not in a rush, that will do. The beds (also the kids’!) were extraordinary comfortable. So we enjoyed our stay very much. Laura, our host gave us many useful hints for beaches and places to go. Camelford is a good home base for some main site in Cornwall and wherever you go you can enjoy the coastal scenery. We really appreciated our stay.

Beautiful Sea View Bovisand park Quarterdeck No 6

KorhanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Really enjoyed our stay and would love to return. Chalet had everything we could have needed and more. Easy to access and very clear instructions on how to get to the property. Surrounding areas absolutely stunning and so peaceful and quiet. Cafe provided nice selection of food and drinks. Would recommend The Fisherman’s arms if you venture into Plymouth. Heather, as a host, was very responsive and went above and beyond to accommodate us with our last minute booking.

Seamist..a Clifftop chalet with amazing sea views

KieranRating, 5 stars2 days ago
This was our first trip away as a couple and it could not have been better. Due to our own mistake, we had a little trouble finding the house but Suzanne was very helpful over the phone despite it being Valentines evening - sorry about that! The home itself is lovely and even more special than can be seen in the photos. Location is ideal if you prefer somewhere quiet although it was only a short drive into Plymouth for the city. Extremely clean and with every necessity already covered. We really enjoyed our stay and only wish we had booked longer, will definitely not make that mistake again. Overall, a great stay.

Seaside Heaven in Private Chalet Park, South Devon

KieraRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Great little chalet right next to Bovisand beach. You should definitely book this place. You do need to take some essentials like washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, towels, tea towels, tea & coffee. There was milk in the fridge for our arrival. If you will be arriving at night then take a torch as it is pitch black. Our phone torches did not cut it.

Uninterrupted sea views

NinaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
The cabin was a bit cold when we arrived plus it was raining. We put the fire on and both the oil heater which made it warm and cosy. The sunset was awesome,as was the sunrise. Very steep stairs to the beach but very worth doing it as the beach walk was lovely. A bit of a hard walk going back up. It’s a very special place to stay and we loved it.
