Cottage holiday rentals in White Plains

The area was peaceful and a short walk to Greenwood Lake. We appreciated Gabriela's responsiveness, clear instructions, and the plethora of amenities for our group.

I recently stayed at this lovely cottage overlooking Greenwood Lake, and it was a fantastic experience! I wanted to treat my daughter to a relaxing weekend before starting another semester at college. The bright and airy living area, complete with plush seating and a fireplace, offered beautiful lake views. The fully equipped kitchen made meal prep easy, and the comfortable bedrooms ensured restful nights. This is a smart home and that was very helpful. The outdoor space was a highlight, featuring a charming deck, fire pit, and grill—perfect for morning coffee. The location is ideal, close to boat rentals (better for warmer months), restaurants, and hiking parks. René was a great host and was very responsive. Overall, this cozy cottage is a perfect retreat for couples or small families. I highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay at Ayumi’s place for our wedding weekend. They were so responsive and helpful whenever we needed them. The house was beautiful and we really enjoyed the hot tub! We look forward to staying here again in the future!

I think this is a great escape especially if you’re from the city. Me and my partner decided to stay in the winter and we were so happy and relaxed. The cabin was very cute and homey, plenty of space and I loved watching him cook through the window while I was outside, very romantic. Enjoying the jacuzzi during the cold was the absolute best , seeing the stars at night while we relaxed was perfect! We made sure to follow the hosts instructions, they made it very through which helped understanding how everything worked . Even if I had any questions , Kelly answered very quickly and took care of us, for that we say thank you. Enjoyed a relaxing weekend at the lake house - everything was exactly as described and we especially enjoyed the hot tub and hanging out in the cozy living room by the fire at night. Highly recommended and hope to be back soon!

We had a great family experience! This house is clean and we'll designed, with a beautiful view.

My girlfriend and I arrived late at night, Richard was very friendly and kindly demonstrated how to work the gate and the hot tub. Inside was super clean, lights were very easy to navigate, TV was large and drinks were provided. All and all 10/10 experience, would visit again in the future.

Location, location, location. So amazing to have beautiful expansive hiking trails right outside your door. There was even a map/instructions as soon as you walk in the door, to guide you to a waterfall right on the property. Rio was a fantastic host; quick and responsive over text to give helpful information on the area that really made the stay. If you’re looking for a serene escape, this is the place for you.

Loved everything about the cottage. It had everything I needed, was very clean, and close to the highway and town. I loved the fresh eggs from the free range chickens and the farm environment! I never once felt that I was in the way. The cottage was very private but Debbie was always responsive to any questions I had. Can't wait to come back!

We enjoyed our stay! Such easy access to the beach was so convenient. You’re definitely better off venturing out after high tide to enjoy the most amount of beach and there are a lot of shells that make being barefoot challenging. We did arrive after major storms which could have contributed to that. The house was spotless with everything you need to be comfortable! We did not utilize the outdoor space but definitely would have if the weather was drier! Definitely would stay here again.

We had a cute and cozy stay here! Spent the holidays with the fam by the beach, walked around town and had some really great food! The space the super cute and warm and really nice! The hosts were amazing as well! Super communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. Def keep this spot in my faves list. 🥰💕🎄

The area was absolutely beautiful. Valhalla Lake was private with stunning views. The cabin was exactly as it was described and the book of directions that was left for guidance was easy to follow.

Wonderful wonderful stay at Tia’s cottage. Was in town to visit relatives just down the road. Her place down a quiet country road is quiet, serene, and surrounded by nature. Our favorite spot was sitting at the table, drinking coffee with the morning light splashing in. And in a several minute drive you’re in downtown Pawling with its cute shops and restaurants. Including a phenomenal, authentic Turkish restaurant (The Turk), and Vinny’s, one of the best Italian delis we have been to. Thanks so much Tia for being the consummate host.

We enjoyed our stay at Garrett's Airbnb. It was clean and had all the amenities listed. I appreciate having another TV in the bedroom and also the extra space heater and blankets. It was unusually cold weather when we stayed so those definitely helped us. Garrett was responsive and addressed our concern at a timely manner. We will definitely stay here again.

We had a great peaceful stay! Place was nice and had everything we needed. Host left detailed instructions that were easy to follow. The surrounding area is beautiful, especially in the mornings.

Our stay at the Lake House Cabin was nothing short of magical! This charming 1940s cabin offered the perfect backdrop for celebrating my wife's birthday with our adult children. The stunning views of the lake were a highlight, providing a serene and picturesque setting that made our family gatherings truly special. We loved the easy access to kayaks and a canoe, which allowed us to explore the water and create lasting memories together. The cabin itself was cozy and well-appointed, making us feel right at home. We appreciated the blend of rustic charm and modern amenities, which made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a place to reconnect with family and enjoy nature, I can't recommend this lake house highly enough. We left with full hearts and plans to return!

The house was so peaceful and quiet. The deer were just walking around and calming to watch! The backyard is better than the pictures and would stay there again! My only issue was with the lack of privacy in the house. The doors are similar to shutters to allow airflow, but you could here everyone in all the rooms. Not a huge deal unless you have loud kids!

Very nice set up in a nice part of town. Cottage is private, quiet, and has all the amenities needed. Crystal was responsive and lovely overall. Highly recommend and walkable to the bus stops that go into the city (both Port Authority and GWB bus terminals).

Thom was wonderful to work with., very attentive to any questions we had during our stay. The location of the rental is convenient to grocery stores and pharmacies, yet very private in a residential area. Location was quite and peaceful. Our family will definitely rent again when visiting the area!!
