Our large group had a wonderful stay here. The view was stunning and the pool was nice on a hot day! Would recommend to groups for a weekend getaway as there is plenty of space.

Absolutely beautiful spot, the perfect, peaceful getaway for our honeymoon! The pool and spa were highlights, we went for a swim daily and the hosts always ensured it was clean. The kitchen was well stocked with all the equipment you'd need. The couches on the deck were so nice to be able to sit outside and enjoy the nature. Would highly recommend!

My boys loved the warm pool, and the playground at the park next door. The cabin was tidy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Perfect pad. No need to leave the house apart from replenishing supplies. The kitchen has everything you need and some. Lovely quiet cul de sac. Pool was a hit....no need for the beach!

Had a great stay, we enjoyed the pool and spa and the peacefulness of the location. the house was lovely and stunning views from all the windows. Just what we needed..🙂

The perfect location and little house for a quiet get away. The house was lovely and clean when we arrived and had everything you could need to make this your home away from home. Gill and Matt were wonderful hosts, we cannot recommend them and their house enough. 10 out 10 holiday

Our family really enjoyed this stay! We loved the layout of the home, having the sleep out allowed the kids to have their own space and we weren’t feeling like we were all on top of each other. The pool isn’t massive but enough for everyone to cool down. The distance to the shops is so close which was super handy for grocery top ups or ice cream runs. As it’s on the main road it is noisy in the front room and impacts getting in and out of the drive - but not an issue for us but worth noting. The host was super responsive as we were 30mins early. Will def be back to stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at Sue and Chris's property. The house was not only beautifully decorated but also very comfortable. The amenities were well thought out, and everything we required was readily available. We would recommend it to anybody looking for an enjoyable getaway!

Awesome getaway for our family of 5, relaxing, amazing views, great boating and water activities for the kids while out on out boat, great to be able to just jump in every morning. Very short walk to marina, cafe and 4 square! Even enjoyed the local food trucks on Friday night after getting the message from hosts. Highly rec

We had a great time at Jessica’s bach - beautiful location and view, would highly recommend it. Plenty to do, a great stay.

We had the most beautiful beach time. Lindsay and Maurice are very thoughtful hosts and their perfect bach is fully equipped. The loving extra touches of a welcome note, of flowers, fruit, chocolates and a personal welcome by Mauice on arrival made us feel even more welcme. We made full use of the kayaks and paddle board provided and their Breville coffee machine was the cherry on the cake. One of the maps in their info folder was our perfect guide. There are heaps of beaches and walks to choose from on the peninsula. .The covered outside area is absolutely perfect to eat, have a drink or just relax while taking in the beautiful scenery and beach atmosphere. When I went for a longer swim in front of the Bach at high tide, I even spied a school of fish right at our door step. In the mornings we walked ca 5 minutes to nearest ocean beach for a morning dip before breakfast. Absolutely the perfect beach holiday spot!

We had a lovely stay. Just what we hoped for. An iconic kiwi Bach that allowed us to relax. We would love to come back sometime.

Ernie's place is nice , clean and peaceful . Secluded area and has big lawn for our two dogs to play . Me and my husband are happy and comfortable at Ernie's place . Highly recomended if you want to stay in Mangawhai.

This was our second stay at this home and we would go back again in a heart beat. The place had everything we needed and more and is beautifully presented. Francie is an amazing host and made us very welcome. Very highly recommended.

Tranquility! A wonderful, peaceful place, still close to everything you need. Omaha Beach is a great location to visit, very laid back and easy going. I went there with my son and we found lots of things to do in the proximity (Sheepworld, Ninja Action, Reptile Park, Snorkling at Goat Island, etc). We loved it! And Grace's place was just amazing!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Cathy’s cottage. It was even nicer than the pictures showed. The cottage had everything that we needed and more. You can tell that Cathy truly puts a lot of care and effort in making it a fantastic stay for her guests. Would highly recommend this place to others and looking forward to staying again when we’re back in town.

A fabulous stay of five days - made even better by a spell of great weather and wall to wall sunshine. Beautiful and varied beaches all nearby, from Waipu through to Te Arai. Accommodation layout perfect for family, children and grandparents allowing a bit of separation. Peaceful & private location. Well equipped. Lovely high ceiling living space with excellent indoor/outdoor area. Minor access issue caused by 3 year old swiftly fixed by Sarah with the minimum of fuss, for which we were very grateful.

If you're looking for a little slice of Paradise a lazy 5 min walk to Ruakaka beach don't go past Donna's place. It's welcoming, has everything you need, great hot water shower (indoor & outdoor are both hot!) and the beds are super cozy with beautiful crisp linen. The perfect getaway for a couple or a crowd. Beautiful tranquil surroundings, host was waiting for us on arrival—kindly made bread and had honey / tea/milk available for use. We had just arrived from overseas, and this was a great place to relax for myself / wife/2 kids. Nearby cafe had great food with a view. Stop in Whangarei for groceries if you’re sticking around for a few days.

Beautiful, clean home in a peaceful, tranquil setting. Central to everything we needed and perfect for work with fast, reliable internet. The host was lovely and welcoming. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Home away from home. Lovely surroundings, set off the road & private. Good sized bedrooms, big bathroom and separate toilet, spacious kitchen & great indoor outdoor flow. Kitchen had everything we needed, large fridge etc. Our kids also enjoyed having the area in front of the garage to bounce the Basketball. The place looks better than the photos.

Lovely secluded spot with a 15 minute walk down to the beach. It was perfect for a few slow days together as a family.
