Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Westmoreland County

The apartment was great, good size for just myself. Location was convenient. Weekend noise was a bit much but did settle down just before 10pm. I felt safe and comfortable. The hosts were very responsive and communicated well. I especially appreciated the parking instruction video! Thank you for a great environment to stay and visit my daughter!

I rented Brandon and Beth's place for my nephew and niece while they visited here for a few days. As advertised BnB are definitely SUPER HOSTS. The kids loved the place and stay. We had a wonderful time over the Thanksgiving weekend. The condo was just as described, and even more impressive than the photos show. Lots of nice little touches, including a welcome basket with wine and snacks. The view of the beach and river from the balcony was beautiful, especially at sunrise. Although it’s a quiet time of year there, we still found plenty to do. We ate in most meals, but did have a delicious lunch at the Sunflower Cafe, and the guys visited the brewery next door. There’s a delightful Art Gallery just across from the parking lot. We’d love to come back sometime when the weather’s warmer and enjoy Colonial Beach in full swing. Our host was very responsive to any questions. All in all, a great place for a winter holiday celebration. Thank you Brittany!

Nell and Patrick's cottage already looked wonderful online, but in person feels even more like the most enchanted gem on beautiful St. Mary's River! We arrived late, in the snow, and Patrick had the place lit and warm for us. We loved the house the moment we pulled into the drive, stepped onto the charming screened porch, and through the big double doors of the cottage. The place has everything we need, is spacious, organized, cozy and feels like home. The view from the screened-in porch is delightful, and the walk past Nell's lovely gardens, the kayaks, and a well equipped shed with beachy supplies, is relaxing as the birds call and flitter about. At the water's edge we enjoyed the two big chairs at the private beach, and examining little river relics at the shoreline, and from up above as we walked the dock. We have already rented again for late July/early August and can't wait! Pat and Nell, thank you for your hospitality, and making us feel like we already knew you.

A wonderfully cozy spot right on Back Creek with a beautiful backdrop of Zahniser's, and Calvert Marina. Love the small town East Coast vibes. There are plenty of great little local shops, restaurants and pubs within walking distance, as well as the Calvert Marine museum. I would gladly stay here again. Hopefully longer next time. Thank you to both Anthony and Shannon for being wonderful hosts.

Once again, we had a fabulous stay. One of my favorite places to stay and areas to visit. Kara was a joy to work with. So responsive and friendly. We’ll keep coming back as long as she will have us.

We were very happy with this nice, comfortable bungalow. It was very clean and well maintained, We loved the golf cart and even though it was a little cold, used it to go into town. We also had a fire in the fire pit. Our hosts were very responsive to our questions. We definitely would recommend staying here.

This was a fabulous house! Great location easy to walk to the beach side and the bay. We loved the screened in porch upstairs for family games or evening drinks. It had all the beach toys, chairs, etc. and everything we needed in the kitchen. Diana was very communicative and we would love to come back!

We had a great stay here. The location is great and less than 2 hours from DC. The house was large and cozy, with everything we needed to enjoy our quiet weekend. The restaurants and breweries in town were also a lot of fun. We fully intend to come back and visit soon!

The house was amazing. Very spacious and cozy. The description of the house is very on point. There were even Christmas decorations up which added ambiance considering we traveled there for Christmas. We did have to move a few out of harms way(the little kids), but all in all the decorations added flair to the space. There wasn’t much interaction, because everything was great. But we were kept informed of the necessary information.

I’ve stayed at a lot of Airbnb’s and this was easily one of the best. Everything was exactly as described, and maybe even better than described. It had tons of amenities and a well stocked kitchen perfect for our large family. Spotless and beautiful. I highly recommend this home and would gladly stay there again.

This place was perfect. We wanted a relaxing weekend away and Beach, Please delivered! This place has everything you would ever need and everything you didn't know you needed for a fun and relaxing getaway. We hope to come back in warmer weather to take advantage of all the outdoor amenities!!

It was an absolutely great stay! We were there for over a month while moving to the area. Everything you could need. The neighborhood was quiet, the people friendly and the sunsets just gorgeous. Particularly with the extended stay, the timely communication and helpfulness was much appreciated! Would definitely recommend!

The house was exactly what we were looking for. Plenty of room, very clean and walkable to most places. The house is actually nicer in person than what the pictures showed. Had a great time and would definitely rent again. Carolyn was a great host and checked in to make sure everything was good and we didn’t need anything.

This place worked wonders for our family vacation. the place is very new and updated with 2 full bathrooms that were clean and spacious for beach time and baths with kids. colonial beach is a hidden gem in a historic little town that seems as though at one point was hustling and bustling but isn't quite as popular as it once was but trying to come back. if your a family looking for a uncrowded beach and some activities to do in the area then this place is great! we actually read about this place being in the heart of historic downtown. only thing we would have loved to see with this place is some outdoor patio spot at the home directly to be able to sit outside together. the location does not really have any night life during the week, not even on 4th of July. we went out at 9 pm and the bar closed at 10 pm which seemed way too early for a Thursday and holiday and being on the beach.

After a little miscommunication on the arrival time, everything was at it should be or better. Great location, clean, responsive well worth it. Great experience and will be back regularly.

We had a great, peaceful stay! It was easy to find the place. Clear instructions. Parking was a breeze. The card, snacks, and waters were a nice touch! Also, I had mentioned bringing kids and there was a high chair for us. I don't know if that's always there but it was so thoughtful. The beds were soo comfy too especially the pillows! Neighbors were friendly and quiet.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Scott and Carrie's. The location was GREAT as the walk to downtown Fredericksburg was so close! It was clean and cozy. We would stay here again and would recommend to others!

My family and I absolutely loved our stay! The place felt comfortable the neighborhood was pleasant. Brandon's kitchen was well-stocked with all the kitchen utensils needed for cooking and baking . The little touches, like having makeup remover wipes available, were really appreciated. And the view from the rooftop was simply amazing! Communication with Brandon was perfect. He was easy to reach and very responsive to any questions we had. The kids had a blast playing basketball across the street – thanks so much for making sure the ball was inflated, that was a lifesaver! Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this place to others.

Had an amazing beachfront experience! I was taken aback by the breathtaking views from the balcony. Our host was attentive and made sure everything was in order for our arrival.

The apartment is lovely and very comfortable. It is well-lit with dimmable lights for softness as well. I brought slippers with me, knowing it would be cold outside, the pictures showed slate floors inside, and it was good to have warm socks/slippers for relaxing in the home. There is a comfortable large carpet in the bedroom and living room. The kitchen is well appointed, and the bed dreamy and comfortable, as others noted in their reviews. The location of this house is perfect for wonderful dining, browsing through antique shops and other fun shops. There are nice trails close by and fun sidestreets to just walk and explore. Excellent location. Your hosts are wonderful!
