Waterfront holiday rentals in Western Europe

Mitch has a lovely home with beautiful surroundings (Lake Champlain for kayaking and listening to the water lap on the shore, view of mountains across in the Adirondacks), local walks in the area are nice. Hiking not far away. We went into Burlington for a concert. Nice to realize that Mitch is related to a close friend of mine. A very peaceful spot,

Alexandra went out of her way to Help us find her place and move in. She was incredibly accommodating and friendly and showed us where to go and eat. Her place is clean and quiet. I highly recommend staying here.

My husband and I stayed here for one week to visit our family. The place was super spacious for two people, can easily accommodate four people. Mark's place was precisely as pictured and we enjoyed our stay. We highly recommend staying here & found Mark to be an excellent communicator. It was a flawless booking from start to finish.

We had another peaceful, beautiful stay with Alice! Alice is a warm, lovely host and we will always stay with her when we are in Elizabeth City. The apt and the scenery are beautiful.

Don & Michelle were fantastic hosts, starting with the welcome swizzles to helping us navigate transportation and sights. The location is on a quiet part of the island and it was a relaxing and beautiful spot. The apartment has everything you need including a stocked kitchen if you decide to prepare a meal there. Highly recommend!

This has been our second home the last 2 years - a wonderful respite from the cold and snow of the north. Jeremiah is a wonderful host who is very responsive. The house has all that you need for an extended stay with comfortable beds and a cosy loving room. The water view can’t be beat!!! We can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Christina's place! Christina was very proactive in communicating with us and checked in with us during our stay. The Key lime pie she left for us in the fridge was a wonderful surprise upon arrival. The highlight of our stay was when a family of 3 manitees spent the afternoon visiting with us in the canal. A perfect stay on Follins Pond This beautifully decorated house is wonderfully comfortable and thoroughly equipped for cooking, relaxing, and enjoying all kinds of vacation fun. The views of the pond are spectacular; there are two cozy gas fireplaces and an outdoor firepit; the multiple decks have ample seating and there are even two Adirondack chairs on the dock for peaceful enjoyment of the pond. It's one of my favorite Airbnbs ever. Meg is the BEST hostess, always concerned about guests' comfort and convenience. We've stayed at her houses many times and the experience is always 5-star. A bonus is that her houses are always well-stocked with cooking supplies (olive oil, spices, etc), bath supplies, and books and games. This area is a great starting point for exploring the mid-Cape. Our favorite local spots: Lighthouse Keeper's Pantry, Leonessa, Three Fins Coffee, the Cuffy's Emporium, the Indian Lands trails, Mayflower Beach, West Dennis Beach, and the lovely Flax Pond trails nearby.

Very neat unique place. Very comfortable place, thoughtfully supplied with kitchen, bedroom, living room stuff. Well thought out for host's guests. Books, CD's, games, tv and movies, etc... Rented while it was cold out but place would be even better in the warmer weather to enjoy the decks more. Very good host and responsive. Really enjoyed the stay.

Pete’s place is really great. Peaceful. We loved being on the water. We all enjoyed the canoe and rowboat and our boys loved fishing off the dock. House is charming and well done inside. Great front and back porches to enjoy the sunrise or sunset. Absolutely loved our stay here.

This home is as beautiful as the photos depict, and the location is convenient to so many restaurants and other attractions/activities. The deck overlooks a waterfall and beautiful body of water- so serene! The home is so roomy, and the kitchen is fantastic! I LOVE to cook and was was very pleased with the kitchen/utensils/gas stove. The living area is very comfortable and warm; two full couches, misc. tables and a great TV! The beds were so comfortable, and a bathrooms for each of the four of us! We are going to book for another trip in August!

Ray was always responsive. The space was very clean, and matched the description. It was close proximity to the festivities we were in town for as well as many other activities. If I had a boat this spot would be ideal. It was a nice touch to have the fish food to feed them. The bathroom was quite big as was the bedroom. Check in was easy and flexible. Ray was a great host.

Our stay was great and easy. Chris was very quick on responses and got us in the room before check in time. The place was clean and exactly what was described. Great for 2-4 people and close to Tampa/Clearwater area.

The home was immaculately clean—truly one of the cleanest places we’ve ever stayed. The beds were super comfortable, making for a great night’s sleep, and the patio was the perfect spot to relax with a beautiful view. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay here again! Highly recommend!

For me, the view says it all! Even when the weather was unpredictable (5 inches of snow! What a unique experience for Myrtle Beach!), the great ocean view from the condo made it relaxing. Todd is one great host! Very responsive and proactive letting me know that the condo was ready early. My month stay was all that I could hope for, and will hopefully be back again during off season. Thanks for a great stay!

We loved staying at Brian's place! It was everything we expected and much, much more. Such a beautiful area on the Intercoastal Waterway! We will definitely look forward to coming back!

This a quaint little gem. The boat dock was a great addition to the promised sunrise view. The location provided us easy access to everything we wanted. Kimberly was quick to respond to all communications. We will keep this one on our list for our next visit.

This is a beautiful condo! We loved how you could walk to restaurants and the view is amazing . We saw dolphins almost every morning and the sunrise was gorgeous. John was very responsive and always returned my texts. We would definitely stay again :)

Had a great stay at the condo for a few days! Great location. Quiet area but a quick drive to shops and the beach
