Lovely apartment. Comfy beds. Very responsive hosts. Minor hick ups sorted instantly. Walking distance to the beach and the pub too. Perfect

Brilliant example of what an AirBnB should be. Amy was very friendly and responsive. Everything was as described, and no detail missed. Really enjoyed the cottage and will definitely be back soon

Words cannot describe how amazing Simone is and her gorgeous retreat. I took my Dad away for a little trip away as he is rather poorly and the original place I had booked was appalling! So bad I refused to stay. Thinking I'd have to take my Dad back home as finding somewhere suitable for his needs is slim picking, never mind on an August Friday night at 6pm, last weekend of the summer holidays. Nevertheless, after refusing to give up I found this gem, both in Simone and her retreat. Just what we needed . Simone went above and beyond from the second I placed the booking, she rang me straight away, said she would met us there, she had the retreat warming through for us, lights on and made us feel absolutely at home. So much so I had to give her a hug. The whole experience from start to finish was 10 star. The place is beautiful, the views are outstanding, area is perfect. My Dad is dying to go back already. And I can't wait to take him. See you soon x

A great location for exploring, a lovely cottage, just what we needed, beautiful views, and loved the walks straight from our garden gate. We also loved watching the birds come and go.

Fantastic value for money!! We booked the partridge hut for a quiet weekend away to start the year and were not disappointed. Even in yellow warning winds and torrential rain it was so cosy to be in the cabin with the heater on! It’s so private with lovely views over the river and lots of easy walks. The hut itself was immaculate and actually more spacious than we had anticipated, especially because we were bringing our dog with us. All in all perfect and Mike was so helpful and responsive. Would really recommend.

What an amazing stay with the full family at Martin’s place for my 30th/Mother’s Day weekend. The house was absolutely gorgeous and so spacious which was great for all the kids to play. The bedrooms were all really good sizes and it was lovely that everyone had a robe waiting for them on arrival. We all enjoyed using the hot tub all weekend and the house felt like home as soon as we arrived. It was so well equipped and spotless with lovely decor in every room. Martin was a great host, happy to help with anything and the welcome pack was a lovely touch. We could’ve all stayed for longer and would definitely return! Thank you for having us at your beautiful house.

We had a lovely stay at Claire’s property. I can’t recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, I was impressed by the cleanliness and comfort of the space. The property was beautifully maintained, with all the amenities you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. The hot tub was always warm surrounded by beautiful scenery. We will definitely be returning.

Lovely house in the Whitbarrow village. Nicely decorated and within easy driving distance of Penrith/Keswick etc. House well furnished and had everything we needed. Onsite restaurant wasn't great - would recommend venturing into Keswick or one of the surrounding villages instead. The swimming pool and other facilities were good but being upgraded/renovated at the time of our visit.
