It’s an amazing airbnb, very clean, great interior, the surroundings are tropical and the view from the location is insane! Highly advise this airbnb to everyone when visiting Padang. The location itself is on a hill, but that makes it so special. Because it’s 200 m above sea-level you don’t need an AC which is very convenient for sleeping. And then as well the staff is so so so kind! Very carrying and making sure you are having a good time. There is also an option the get a ‘homemade’ dinner prepared with many options on a menu, we did that the first day and we felt immidiately at home. Overall, we loved it!!!

This place was so special! The bungalows were super cosy and private, the food on offer was different every day - super nutritious and delicious ! Being able to step right into the ocean everyday was the best, snorkelling was very bagus! Ricky and his team were very humble and thoughtful always there to chat and offer help, I loved this place so much I extended my stay and will definitely be back in the near future 100% recommend 🌺

Lovely traditional home stay with friendly hosts and delicious Padang meals. We got to experience rice planting, watching how Rendang is made, finding cinnamon and cocoa trees and seeing the kids fish for our dinner from the pond. The village is very scenic with pretty gardens by the rice paddies, framed by high peaks and a view of stunnning Mt Marapi and its daily puffs of volcanic smoke. We learn a lot about local culture and it is close to caves and other interesting sights

Tiffanie was so helpful and even had her uncle to assist us upon check-in. There were 11 of us staying at the house. It had an amazing view since it sits on top of a hill. There's a supermarket close by that u still need to drive to. Each room had its own bathroom and TV. There was no fan but the place was breezy and chilly enough that we didn't feel stuffy or hot. It was definitely a great place for my relatives and I go hangout together.

There aren't the words to describe how lovely and enjoyable our stay was at Pinilok. It was everything we hoped for and more. If you are looking for the best, most private place to stay on Sipura this is it. Unlike all the resorts nearby, you have your beach all to yourself!! The only humans we saw on our visit were all the lovely fellas who took care of us on the property and some local fishermen walking down the beach. Access to waves is spot on. Food is amazing. Anton will feed you the BEST fresh fish while Tirti can show you the best waves, snorkel spots, beaches, etc. We were missing our doggos so it was such a treat to have a brood of dogs on the property. If you are looking for a place that embodies the Mentawais, this is it. I wish we could keep the spot to ourselves but this is the place to go! Absolutely recommend and cannot wait to return.

Ibuk Yenni at Pone Home made our trip unforgettable. Warm hospitality, delicious breakfasts, comfy, clean place, and fun karaoke sessions. She even lent us a motorcycle and personally ride me to must-see spots like Panorama, Lubang Japang, and Puncak Taruko. Rolis and his family are amazing host, taking great care of their guests such as in the morning you will wake up to freshly home cooked breakfast and aromatic coffee or tea. Rolis himself is extremely passionate of developing Kerinci’s into a tourist haven and has consistently been taking approaches to making it happen. He knows his hometown inside and out and will bring you to places only known to the locals. The Kerinci hiking tour is superb with the porter cum guide caring for all aspects of your need (food, tent, looking out for your safety...) Only thing you may want to take note is the distance to and fro Padang city, especially when taking the shared taxi. A supposing 6-7 hr ride may become 10 hr as the driver may pick up other passengers along the way, take breaks in between and traffic conditions. Don’t plan your trip too compact because this is Indonesia after all ;-)
