Great place to stay in Hanoi. Nice surroundings, great communication with the host.

I had a wonderful stay! The host was incredibly gracious, and the staff at the property were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The place looked exactly as described, with beautiful surroundings and a peaceful, quiet neighborhood. It was the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend staying here!

Simply the best stay in Hanoi. Back for a 4th time.

This space is a beautiful apartment in hanoi. There’s lots of lovely details and you have all the amenities you need. Phuong and I had a slight miscommunication over the check-in. Other than that the instructions for checkin and checkout are great, they even have a video showing you how to get in. Phuong is very friendly and helpful. I would really recommend this stay for 2-4 people. Cons: You have to walk 4 stories with your luggage At night it was very silent but there was lots of noise in the morning (starting 7am)

This was a wonderful place to stay, right in the centre of the Old Quarter. Literally steps away from Train St and lots of restaurants and food stalls nearby covering breakfast, lunch and dinner ! The highlight must be the balcony. It overlooks a busy local street where vendors sell all sorts of food and supplies to mainly locals. I could sit on that balcony all day and watch the world go by. The place itself is compact and clean. Great WiFi and good air con. Hot water is from a heater tank and it was perfect. Bed is very comfortable and the linen is changed frequently. Annie was a wonderful host and gave me recommendations of things to see ( the lowering of the flag at 9pm was her tip to me and it didn’t disappoint !) I highly recommend this place if you want to immerse yourself in the local way of life … a truly magical experience !

Host was fantastic, and room were neat and comfy. However, walls are thin so sounds can be constantly heard. On the last day, there were children screaming and shouting at midnight which spooked us a bit. I’m not sure if it’s our shared building neighbours but this isn’t at fault of the bnb/host. All in all, great place!

Very cute place, I really enjoyed staying here and would happily do so again. Pros: - big comfy bed, nice view across the lake, surprisingly spacious bathroom with a great shower (strong water pressure + gets nice and hot) - staff were really friendly, and the room gets cleaned + restocked with water daily. - the surrounding area is cool. You're right across the street from a popular pho place, there are cute coffee places + a quite good bakery, good burger place, an ok gym nearby, plus you're within easy walking distance of the old quarter without having to deal with quite so much noise. Tay Ho is a quick cab/motorbike ride. Cons: - the building's sound isolation isn't great, so you'll hear other guests plus any motorbikes on the street. If you're a light sleeper you'll probably want to bring earplugs. - the internet was sometimes a bit slow.

Nguyen’s place is in a more peaceful side of the city away from the hustle and bustle of Hanoi. We arrived during the holiday and a lot was closed but there was plenty of coffee shops nearby around 100m away. There is a massive department store a 10 minute walk away with a supermarket to make your own meals in the apartment. The area is very walkable at night and the locals were always keen to say hi and give you a welcoming smile. The apartment itself was spotless and exactly as shown in the pictures, we felt right at home. Plenty of cooking utensils which were also very clean. The bed was super comfy and the shower was great and the water heater kept the water warm long enough for 2 people to shower which was great compared to other places we have stayed in south east Asia. The surrounding area was quiet so there was minimal noise from the street and the other people in the apartment block were extremely pleasant! Check in was easy and instructions very clear.
