Pamela and Alan are amazing hosts! They were extremely responsible and flexible, which made our stay quite worry-free. Their home is beautiful and kept neat, and the scenery surrounding the home was lovely as well, especially with the snow. Their kitchen had everything we needed and more, from pots and pans to seasonings and oil, which made cooking an easy experience. The wood stove and hot tub are such unique bonuses too, and even through we didn't utilize them much, I'm confident others will enjoy it. No complaints whatsoever, and highly recommended to anyone.

Absolutely stunning views - nice house, in a great location.

Lovely place, very homey and peaceful. Everything you could possibly need. Very clear instructions for check in, which was super helpful since we arrived after dark. Very convenient location if you are visiting Colgate University. Highly recommend!!

Easily accomodated our large group with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and the large living room/dining room space for us to gather. Plenty of kitchen equipment for us to prepare meals and loved the extra sink and bar area for food prep. The fake fireplace was great with the temperatures outside below freezing. Lovely back wooded area with the brook to see from the back porch. Hosts were quick to respond and their home was beautiful.

What a lovely cabin in a lovely spot. Loved it here-would stay again. I highly recommend purchasing wood and using the wood stove. We stayed during 6-10 degree weather and this stove warmed the space. Thank you Charles.

The place was amazing, the kitchen was great and has everything as far as pots and pans, spices , etc… The location is great, 8 minutes to Cooperstown and all the restaurants And close to Oneonta. Craig and Christina keep the place very clean and we had a little snow and they were on top of it and had us plowed out in no time. I would highly recommend staying at their cottage. Beautiful house in a great neighborhood. Description is spot on. Believe it has even more than the description. Kitchen fully stocked with all the essentials. Propane fireplaces that were the perfect ambiance. Could only imagine how great the area is when it’s not a frozen tundra. 10/10 would stay again.

We loved our stay at the Hidden Lakefront. It was a perfect escape from our everyday city environment. Beautiful property and house. The home itself was clean and spacious, very warm for the snowy weekend. I recommend this property for warm or cold getaways!

This is a large, beautiful and mostly well-appointed home in a scenic area and high-end neighborhood. The house is in very good condition with clean and comfortable furnishings. It worked very well for our fairly large group of 3 couples and two adult children. Each couple and child had their own comfortable bedroom with space to spare. It was a wonderful home base for us to visit with local families in the area for holiday celebrations. My only minor issues were: While the seating in the living room was quality, clean and comfortable, it was not an ideal arrangement for the space, and also, while the kitchen was large, clean, new-looking it is challenging to cook for the number of guests the house can accommodate. The beautiful kitchen was not really equipped to the size and standard it deserved. All that said, we would definitely stay again with pleasure.

He went above and beyond for our family and made us feel like we were home away from home.
