Farmstay holiday rentals in West Coast of the United States

This was our fourth visit to the farmhouse, and it was just as good as the first. Our kids love greeting the animals and feeding them approved treats. The serenity of the property is unmatched, we look forward to this trip every year. I love the peacefulness and proximity to the state and county parks where I went kayaking most mornings of our visit—lots of protected water and marine life to observe. The host is gracious and always welcomes our kids to share her love and engagement with her farm animals. Our kids talk about the animals all year long :)

If you're looking for a peaceful getaway from the busy city, this is the perfect place. This cob house is beautifully designed, and it's clear that a lot of love and care went into every detail—from the structure to the intricate tiles and glasswork. Shanti and Don responded quickly and were incredibly welcoming. They thoughtfully provided essentials to make us feel right at home! It was wonderful to be so close to nature and the sheep. We also loved spending time with Angus (dog), who was fascinated by the sheep and enjoyed running laps around the property. His playful energy made our stay even more enjoyable!

Great location to introduce visiting family members to wine country. The wine and food options within the vicinity of the house were plenty. The home was welcoming and comfortable. Great views of the lake and great outdoor space to chill.

This was such a lovely weekend stay with Lauren and Mack! The babe goats were so, so cute and this stay made me want to own some myself. They walked us through so many activities: making sourdough, cheese, pasta, milking the mama goats, feeding the baby goats, and they cooked us a delicious dinner and breakfast. I feel like I learned so much and walked away with an even greater appreciation for food! Highly, highly recommend this experience - once in a lifetime and with the loveliest people I've ever met!

Field House We had a truly lovely stay. The home has a unique custom feel to it, and was very relaxing set into an active farm with several ponds and accessible walks. We enjoyed the fireplace, the social areas within the house, the kitchen and amenities, and the large bathtub! The house is very well taken care of and clean, with only a few areas of dust accumulation in hard-to-reach places. The home is VERY comfortable, with multiple social spaces outside and inside, cozy beds, and multiple heating sources. The host gave amazing recommendations that were even customized to us, they also worked with me when I had camera film delivered to the farm. Very kind, approachable, and caring. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots/pans/cutlery/everything you need and good quality. They even left produce in the fridge for us from the farm. There's a grill outside in good condition and basic cooking supplies. Lots of firewood. Linens/blankets are comfortable and good quality. Best stay ever.

First, the place is great. It is spacious, the bedrooms are large, and the view is fantastic. Being dog lovers, the highlight for us was Styx the ranch dog who kept us company all weekend. The house was clean and well stocked. The furniture is dated but comfortable. The master bathroom has a heater that made my shower very nice!

This was a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. We would recommend it to others!

This place is as advertised. It’s a cozy little unit on the ranch property that houses a lot of farm and wild animals. It was fun to do our walks around the ranch picking fresh eggs with the host, amazing access to do a little harvest from their nana’s garden & watching the animals around with the kids. We also did the safari around their ranch at an added cost which the kids loved and we also got to feed the goats some of our organic kitchen scraps. All in all a very good family getaway. The host’s daughter, Emilee was wonderful and very pleasant to interact with. She was very kind with my kids and always made sure we had a good stay. Thank you very much. Highly recommend.

Ms. Susan property is large and beautiful, our family of 7 enjoyed her estate so much and will plans to stay longer in the future.

Virginia helped us out when our host cancelled on us last minute. She was a great host and I would love to have the opportunity​to stay again! Also the home is way bigger than we thought it was!

This was the most peaceful and relaxing farm experience~  A restful weekend was needed and this amazing place did not disappoint! Greg and Gina were so kind and thoughtful-  every detail of the stay was very memorable! The cute little trailer had everything we needed and the accommodations made us feel very comfortable (the bed is heavenly!). The evening was chilly and they offered to make a small fire outside the trailer in a cute little area to sit and gaze at the stars. From the warm welcome upon arrival, time with all the animals (carrots are even provided to feed them!), walking the grounds (the dog's fave part!), and enjoying the beautiful views- it all made for such a wonderful trip. We felt right at home for our entire stay and look forward to booking again soon!

We had a great weekend at Dawn’s Sunrise Ranch, the house is beautiful, clean and very well equipped, we all got connected to the cute goats in the farm and to beautiful views around. Mostly recommend . Thank you Dawn for great hospitality. Avi

My group of 4 had a great time! We came into town for the Solvang Century ride, which was close by. The house was just what we needed and has a killer front porch. We were just a few feet from a winery with tasting room and restaurant. The kitchen could potentially be more appointed with cookware. The baseboards were telling that a professional cleaning service has not been hired in some time. Overall, we loved our stay and would choose this house again in the future.

this place is beautiful, cozy, and plenty of room for our family of four. the kids loved the cows. close to the fun of the city, but a peaceful safe farm to stay made the trip perfect.

If you love the peace and quiet of the country, this place is perfect! We loved it! Beautiful setting and still close to lots of things to do! We will be back

The house and property were amazing and anything I needed help with was handled promptly and easily. The house is even more beautiful than the pictures. We had several 4 legged visitors for me and my kids to hang out with, a dog, cats and even a very friendly goat. My youngest thoroughly enjoyed the swing set right outside too! There is everything you could need inside and out, especially for kids. We took the farm tour on our last morning, everyone was so nice and it was so fun my son said he wants to go back for his birthday. Highly recommend.

A clean and tidy place with what you needed available and nothing you didn't. This place accommodated our dogs and made it comfortable to have them with us without feeling like a burden.

Lee Ann’s place is stunning. Close to vineyards and downtown but quiet in the evenings. It is well decorated and stocked. This will be the only place that I stay in Paso Robles moving forward.

We have stayed here three times in the last thirteen months and will keep coming back. It's quiet, private, comfortable and the setting is beautiful. Charlotte and her husband, Val, are welcoming and helpful. It is a convenient location for exploring the surrounding area with plenty to see and do.

If you're looking for a slice of paradise look no further. This has everything. Hot tub, long walks, beautiful surroundings, and chi kens!! :)

This place was great! Three couples from three different places met here for a wonderful weekend! We had plenty of space, a great full kitchen, a beautiful deck and a hot tub. Looking out the deck, rolling hills, farms and even a horse in the backyard. Plenty of outdoor games available. Inside, spacious kitchen with all the pots and pans you’d need. Comfortable couch, plenty of beds and bedrooms, towels, really anything you’d need. There is no question we will be back! Felt so private, we can be a loud bunch, but felt remote enough that we didn’t have to worry about upsetting neighbors!

Pretty sure this is the first time I’ve ever repeated and booked the same home twice over the course of all my years renting on Airbnb. If the stars align, I plan to make it a third time next year. Tremendous value, beautiful setting, wonderful town. Only neighbors you’ll notice are deer. Really can’t go wrong. 10/10
