Family-friendly holiday rentals in Wells Branch

Well equipped, comfortable, and spotless place… location is very peaceful and serene… Overall we had a great stay! Few nitpicks to note: 1. Hard to comprehend from pictures alone how low the lake is. There really is no lake access at this time. 2. Not sure I would call “private”. Hosts live upstairs and have a full view of the patio area. Not an issue for us (and hosts are unobtrusive and very friendly) but could be for some 3. I’m very picky about light bulbs so this is a personal preference, but the light bulbs are very bright white LEDs which, in my view, takes away from an otherwise warm space.

Thank you for hosting us! Very convenient for getting downtown, just a quick trip down 35. House had everything you’d need, very well stocked kitchen and bathrooms.

Fantastic Stay at a great home! Steven was a great host and quick to respond. Gave great recommendations. The House is located in a great neighbourhood. You can walk to the nearby restaurants or head across the river to downtown.

Beautiful craftsman style house with lots of room for a family of six and two dogs. Spacious two head shower in main bedroom. Front and rear sitting areas with nice shaded outdoor seating. Spacious dining table. Kitchen has nice amenities and spacous for cooking. The host was responsive to my questions.

This was our 2nd time staying at Sandi’s place and just like the 1st time we had a good time. There’s so much to do on the property (for all ages). The host are super nice and friendly and you discover something new every time you visit. I got this place because it had 4 full bathrooms for myself and co workers. So everyone had privacy and the house was clean and organized.

Our stay at this Airbnb during our daughter's graduation at the University of Austin was absolutely fantastic. The home was not only comfortable but also conveniently located, allowing us to easily navigate the city and attend all the graduation events without any hassle. What truly set this Airbnb apart, however, was the exceptional hospitality of the host. She made sure we had everything we needed for a memorable stay and gave some great suggestions on places to eat. But what truly blew us away was her responsiveness to our request to look for our forgotten sunglasses. She found out sunglasses and promptly shipped them to us. It's these little gestures of thoughtfulness that truly make a difference and leave a lasting impression. Overall, our experience at this Airbnb was nothing short of amazing. Comfortable accommodations, a great location, and a host who goes above and beyond to make her guests feel at home.

Beautiful private house, super modern and great WiFi. Fit my friends and I comfortably and created a good environment. It was walkable to the downtown area and was very close to a nice trail that goes under Congress Bridge, which made it great to run or walk in the mornings for some sight seeing and boating. The host was great and always responded fast!

I’ve lost count of how many times we’ve stayed at Brunson’s place, so that says it all. It has been our home-away-from home in Austin, very conveniently located, clean, and a great host. We will certainly be staying there again!

Carolyn‘s place was a cozy, eclectic gem in an amazing neighborhood of Austin. She’s a true artist and her home shows it. Her home is clearly loved and cared for, with thoughtful touches everywhere. She was very easy to communicate with, however, we had no problems during our stay. The outdoor space is lovely and feels very secluded, even in the heart of Austin. There was so much to do within walking distance - coffee shops, souvenirs, great restaurants. We’d love to stay at Carolyn‘s place again!

True hospitality for our group. Lynn and Jerry’s place was amazing. They were very proactive and accommodating with all our asks. The home is in a great location with great access to all of Austin’s go to spots. Truly awesome outdoor space, great for groups and a great base camp. Overall would highly recommend and would book again.

Can't say enough how nice this property is. Located in a secluded neighborhood, there are 2 HEB grocery stores within a 5 minute drive as well as restaurants. Hosts couldn't have been more accommodating. As nice as the pictures and description are, we really felt like home during our stay. Thank you Todd and Darlene for sharing such a nice place

This place was perfect for us. Six guys on a long weekend trip to Austin. Short walk to bars and multiple breakfast options. Short ride share trip to downtown. Only knock was there were some loud motorcycles late one night but that didn’t dampen our spirits. This place was spacious and had several places to hang out. Good value in an absolutely amazing location in Austin. I would absolutely stay here again.

Janice was very willing to make accommodations for us, early check-in and extended the stay at the last minute. Kept in touch to make sure everything worked out. The location is really great. Not in the hustle and bustle of downtown but very close to major attractions. Very roomy bedrooms and living room. I would definitely recommend this Airbnb!

The location is perfect for walks in Zilker Park, albeit a steep down hill and return up hill. It’s convenient to drive to the park’s parking areas to walk or bike on mostly horizontal trails along Lady Bird Lake. For our grandchildren, there were a variety of playgrounds in Zilker Park and at Pease Park. Since we were here in December, we spent one evening at the fabulous Lights Trail Walk. It’s located in Zilker Park. If you decide to go, be sure to check their website for dates, hours and ticket prices. If you can, take advantage of going in the gates at 6 pm. There are many museums, music centers, restaurants and coffee shops to enjoy. A big must do is to visit many of Austin’s famous Food Trucks for great tacos and BBQ. The house is in a great location that is quiet.

An excellent house, I recommend it 100% I stayed a few days and loved this house, super comfortable, spacious, a very private and quiet area.
