Absolutely gorgeous ocean views and seaside location, beautiful comfortable home that’s hard to leave yet lots to explore by coast or in city nearby. Very helpful tips & notes from lovely hosts. Saw dolphins & seals from lounge. Comfy quality beds & linen, great decor and good showers & bath.

We only stayed for one night, as we had a flight to catch the next day but would have been happy to stay longer. Was one of the best stocked places I've stayed if you wanted to do any cooking. A supermarket is walking distance for anything else you need, as well as the train to the city. Easy access to the motorway was good.

This residence was exactly as described. It was roomy, had washer and dryer, clean and very easy to use. I would definitely recommend again. We had a few small issues but they were resolved and tended to so felt heard and appreciated. I would highly recommend this property.

Fantastic stay! Excellent location in the heart of Wellington CBD, an easy walk to great cafes and restaurants. The house was spotlessly clean and tidy with all the amenities you need and was beautifully presented. Friendly and responsive hosts - 10/10.

Had an amazing girls trip at Amanda's! House was awesome with lots of space for all of us! Really good location and close to town. Amanda was super helpful, even partially refunding us last minute for people who couldn't make it. Would definitely come here again!

A beautiful place to stay. Quiet and peaceful but convenient to everything including shops, places to see and events centre. Couldn't be more helpful hosts. Spotlessly clean and welcoming plus everything you need for a comfortable stay was provided. Parking was a breeze. Highly recommended and I hope to stay again.

Would stay here again! Light and airy apartment with high ceilings. Easy walk into town

A lovely home base for a few days in Wellington. Large, full of light, and perfect for a family. Just be aware it’s a 3 story walk-up, so not accessible. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking and eating. Cafe on the ground floor is a nice stop for lunch- other restaurants within a few mins drive. 10 mins drive to downtown, 5-10 mins to beaches and shops, 10 mins to the airport. The apartment is gorgeous with lovely views over the water. It was unseasonably hot in Wellington during our stay, so we had some trouble regulating temperature given all the windows, despite keeping everything open for airflow and using the air conditioner when necessary, but the fans provided helped a lot. Host was extremely kind and helpful. We enjoyed our first stop in NZ here!

Modern 2-storey apartment with fun interior design and quirky bathroom features. Bedrooms were spacious and living/dining had a nice view to the hillside. Excellent location being near airport, regular Bus no. 2 to city and Zealandia, supermarkets, Lyall Bay/Cafe and Weta workshop a must. Although kitchenette is downstairs would suggest serving trays be provided to carry cutleries with food/drinks. I'm a light sleeper so planes and wind a bit noisy. Otherwise we had a most enjoyable stay from a wonderful friendly and helpful host.

Fantastic experience all around. The apartment was in a prime location. It was such a great size for 6 of us with plenty of spaces and areas to all catch up in. Plenty of beds, bathrooms. So comfortable. Funky and fun. Great inner city apartment vibe. Great kitchen. Super helpful and accommodating owner. This was a top notch experience. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

We loved Sue’s place! Everything was just as described and photos are accurate. The views are incredible!! We enjoyed our morning tea/coffee at the window, watching bay traffic go by. This place had million dollar views of the harbor. It was quiet and easy to walk or Uber downtown. While the place is a bit old and quirky, that did not detract from the charm. We were very glad to stay there.

What a great host! In a world where AIRBNBs are increasingly operating by third parties, it was a very welcome relief to come across a place that was obviously set up for the convenience and comfort of its guests. Really appreciated Wayne’s thoughtful additional touches like books, guides and leaflets. Also very grateful for generous provisions. Be warned that the location of this AIRBNB is on the steep side of Wellington! The pay off is spectacular views! While we were relying on walking in and out of the city, the location was still doable. It’s a steep climb but very convenient. Our party of 4 found Wayne’s place super comfortable and very peaceful. Wayne was also a perfect, thoughtful and accommodating host. Thank you Wayne for a memorable stay. Look forward to another visit sometime.

Really good location, some of Wellingtons best restaurants and cafe's are within 2-5 minute walking distances. I'd like to point out two of my favorites 'August Eatery' and 'Prefab', both 2 minutes either side, very stoked about that! Oriental bay 5 mins down the road. Place was very clean, great water pressure in shower. Good place to sleep if you have lots you want to do out in town!

I’ve had the pleasure of staying at Adriennes's apartment twice, the second time with my eldest daughter, and both visits to Wellington have been wonderful. The apartment is modern, impeccably presented, and ideally located for easy access to cafes, restaurants, and all the attractions the city has to offer, whether on foot or by bus. Perfect home away from home. Views, location, secure building, parking at hand... can't beat that in the inner city.
