Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Webster County

This was such a cute place for a weekend getaway! Paige was really easy to communicate with about accommodating our needs in the booking process. It's really close to town and an easy drive to things we wanted to see. We wanted to do a lot outside in the area but ended up having a rainy weekend. It still turned out to be the perfect place to hunker down in and feel cozy. The kitchen had plenty of cookware so making dinner was easy and we had fun playing card games in the living room after. The river is right outside in the back too, which I imagine is incredible all the time, but it was roaring with the weather we had making it even more amazing. Too bad the rain stopped us from using the fire pit! All the more reason to come back for a future visit!

We loved staying with Czar Haus!! The cabin was cozy, comfortable, clean with the most serene setting to enjoy a few days of rest and relaxation. We will be thinking about the snowy views from the front porch and the tranquil sounds of the creek for long after we left. The radiant heat took some getting used to but the gas fireplace kept us cozy. No cell service of course but the WiFi worked great. We would definitely recommend!

Very peaceful, relaxing, wish the stream had water— (been dry in that area) but my kids made the best of it! They loved it! My parents and myself (and 3 kids) stayed— we enjoyed every moment! The bathhouse is very nice! Recommend packing a grill, (which we did) only way to cook is over the fire. There is a small distance to walk to the bathhouse, so if you get up frequently to use the restroom at night— make sure to pack a flash light! Holly River state park is just down the road! We hung out around the bus most of our stay.. our kids love the lights over the fire at night. We look forward to many more stays!!!

We absolutely love this cabin and stay here every winter for a fun and cozy getaway weekend. Although there is a lot to do in the area, this time, we chose to stay in and enjoy the fireplace and watching the snow fall and the river flowing past. It was so peaceful and relaxing-just what we needed! The cabin is well-equipped with everything we needed-washer and dryer, firewood, and a very well-stocked kitchen. We've already made our reservation to return next year!!

Susan was an absolutely fantastic host! She was incredibly communicative throughout our entire stay and offered some wonderful local suggestions that made our trip even more enjoyable. We appreciated her kindness so much! The town of Richwood is absolutely adorable and perfectly situated for exploring the surrounding area. The house itself was cozy and inviting, and we especially appreciated the comfortable beds after a long day of sightseeing. We also loved that the yard was fenced in, giving our dog plenty of room to run around and play. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a charming and comfortable place to stay in Richwood!

We had a fantastic time at Kara's Airbnb! The place was perfect for a family getaway, with everything we needed. It's a great way to experience local WV life in a safe, private setting. Thanks, Kara, for being a great host!

I was welcomed to the lights on and A/C running to cool the cabin. It was so thoughtful as the day was quite muggy! You are given a code to punch in to open the box on the porch to get the key. Quiet surroundings, clean, great porch, good proximity to Upper Falls (Falls Run Falls on Google Maps) and Shupes Chute (17 min drive) and then Holly River State Park (11 min further). Make a right turn onto 20. Both Easy to find. It's almost a straight shot. When I was at the cabin in both AM and evenings I had good cell service (T-Mobile) but during the day and when on the street I had pretty much zero cell service. bunk beds: bottom sheet, pillows and blankets provided. The compacted dirt/cinder road that the cabin is on is lightly traveled with the occasional ATV or vehicle. Mostly you just hear insects, which is just to my liking. It was a nice get-away for two nights.
