Holiday houses in Wattsville

James was very responsive when we had trouble finding the place (due to technical problems accessing the airbnb website with the full address). He stayed on the phone with us as we drove and gave us instructions. The place was very homey and comfortable, mostly clean, with the exception of minor issues. Some small amount of mould in one of the bathrooms. There was a homemade cake for us which was delicious. We had a great time staying there.

The cottage is very well equipped, comfortable and clean. The beds were comfortable with high quality linen. The shower was powerful with lots of hot water available. We cooked in because the pub kitchen was closed after 5pm due to the six nations rugby. The oven and hob were great as was the dishwasher too. A very peaceful location, just a shame we couldn’t have stayed longer. There was a very generous welcome pack which saved us having to bring the essentials.

We had a great time. The cottage is lovely and cosy and had everything we needed. Would definitely come back!

We had a really great stay. The house was well equipped and super cosy. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the lovely big bath. The location is absolutely fab, being less than 5 mins walk to two lovely pubs. A highlight was the bbq hut which we had so much fun cooking in and also using the fire pit and spending the evening under the stars. I am sure we will be back.

Very convenient. Worked well for a lastminute trip to do some walking in the brecon beacons.

What a wonderful place to stay. The house itself has a very welcoming vibe and upon entering the property it smelt divine! It is set up so that the whole family can have fun together. It’s in a great location - we went to the the ape and monkey sanctuary, LC Leisure water park and plantasia indoor zoo. The children aged 4-9yrs had such a great time. They talked about it all on the way home. The house is across 3 floors so means everyone stays in shape too ☺️. There are heavy fire doors so anyone with little children just needs to be mindful of fingers, but we had no issues. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to give our children such a wonderful experience in Wales. Thank you so much Diane and Emma for making our stay so special!

We spent 2 nights at Sugarloaf cottage as we wanted to get some walking done in the Brecon Beacons. Alison was friendly from the start and made us feel at ease and our dog was made to feel very welcome too. The cottage looks exactly like the photos and was super clean. The views from the hot tub were fantastic. Alison gave us some great recommendations for places to eat and places to visit. Overall a fantastic couple of nights spent at Sugarloaf and if we are ever back this way, we’d opt to stay again. Thank you Alison 😄

Thoroughly enjoyed our first trip to Cardiff. The Coachhouse was in a superb location between the city centre and Cardiff Bay. We visited the castle, the national museum, Cardiff Bay, Millenium Centre. There was a fabulous walk to Penarth and we ended with a tour of the Principality Stadium. We would love to come back again.

My partner and I were looking for a semi-local airBnB to try as our first country getaway. The location was stunning and so peaceful. The check in was easy. We spent our first night in relaxing. Karen and Chris were really friendly, welcoming and were incredibly helpful when we had questions. The room has two heaters and log burner which makes for a perfect cosy backdrop to a relaxing evening. Plenty of storage space as well, the smart TV is a nice touch being able to use streaming services as well as live TV. We also connected a games console too, which was really easy. The bed was really comfy, plenty of blankets and cushions/pillows available. The kitchenette had everything we needed for our short stay, all of which were straightforward and easy to use. The bathroom was immaculate, with a radiator and good selection of toiletries. Some snacky goodies left for us were much appreciated! We really had the best time staying here and loved meeting the cat :)
