We had an amazing stay at the cabin! Jacqui is a great host and such a lovely person to talk with! She has an amazing knowledge of local places, including walks and places to eat. She gave us everything we needed for our stay, with food, drinks and hot water bottles, and is super responsive. The waterfall was amazing to listen to and look at. It was also great to fall asleep to, so relaxing! The place was so clean and cosy, and we felt so welcomed from the second we arrived. We could not recommend this cabin more and we will definitely be back! :)

We had a beautiful stay at this cottage over Christmas! We loved the interior, they had all the amenities possibly needed for self catering. They even went that extra mile and left us a christmas card and mince pies which made us smile! Bed was super comfortable, surroundings are lovely and easy to get to. We loved the fact there is a river right outside the kitchen window, which added to the atmosphere. Hosts were very responsive and gave us recommendations of nearby places! This really did feel like a home away from home, very cosy, very comfortable!!

We had a fantastic stay! Valentina was a brilliant host and made everything very straight-forward. Check-in was simple and the house was beautiful, absolutely immaculate and felt like home instantly. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay, would definitely stay again without a doubt 😊

We had a lovely family stay at the cottage with our dogs. The location is perfect for some great walks straight from the door and the cottage is very cosy and has everything you need. The hosts were helpful and easy to contact when needed.

Had a lovely stay at Jo and Andrew’s cottage. Andrew and Jo are an absolutely amazing host and hostess, extremely accommodating, very thoughtful and great communication. The cottage was spotless. Great amenities, EVERYTHING you could think of, and more has been thought about! The whole cottage is fully equipped and so many lovely special touches throughout. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a welcome basket which is a very special touch. I would highly recommend to stay at this property as it truly is a home away from home; very tastefully decorated whilst still feeling cosy. The cottage is in a perfect location, surrounded by beautiful walks straight from the doorstep, the perfect base. Thank you so much for a great long weekend, I look forward to returning!!

Faye’s place is really convenient. The location is really close to the city center and the train station. So easily walkable. Saves having to drive into the city and find parking. The parking space provided is useful. Like the description better for a smaller car. Ours fit perfectly. The instructions for check in were straight forward. There was plenty of information Faye left for us in the house on how to work the heating and various other bits. Once we got the heating on the place warmed up quickly. Had plenty of amenities. Overall it is a very comfortable and central place to stay. Would happily go back again next time we are in Cardiff. Thank you Faye.

We enjoyed our stay in this charming, cosy cottage with countryside walks straight out the back door. The cottage has recently been renovated and shows some of the original stonework and also has other historic features such as a wood burning stove (which was lit when we arrived, making us feel very welcome). The cottage is on a quiet road and feels very rural but is also conveniently close to tourist attractions such as McArthur Glen designer outlet centre and Porthcawl beaches.

Absolutely stunning place. Remote enough to feel isolated and private, close enough to the real world for easy access. We were there during a snow storm and Chris advised us on the best way to deal with it and was incredibly helpful with his local knowledge. Place was cleam, warm and incredibly cosy. Had everything we needed. Location was fab. And we got a visit from Bellsy the Cat. Would thoroughly recommend.

Coming from someone who actually grew up down the road, for any travellers, this is the place you want to be when in Cardiff. Kathryn's great little out-house at the bottom of the garden is big enough to live in. What isn't listed or pictured but also there is an electric hob and pans. That was a massive plus for me. Kathryn decorates in a labyrinth of comfy cushions, throws, design mags, cosy enough for the freezing winters, yet close enough to the lake to push you for a run! In fact, that's right on your doorstep. Private, quiet and value for money.

Lovely home from home feel. Spacious rooms and very clean. We were very pleased with the welcome pack and Jemma was very helpful. We had a lovely weekend and will definitely be back

My boyfriend and I had a great time at the Glamping pod. It was exactly as Craig described lovely, peaceful and gave us the break we needed.
