Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Washington County

I rented this place for my girlfriends birthday, so her adult children and their partners could spend the weekend with us - along with a few additional close friends who joined us for dinner. It was an amazing place for socializing and making memories. The space and accommodations were perfect for this special occasion and will long be remembered as a extra special weekend getaway. It was much more then just a place to stay...

This was a fabulous destination! We were looking for a big place to have a special anniversary party weekend with extended family, and this house had everything we needed. Plenty of bedrooms upstairs and first floor, many common gathering areas, large kitchen and dining room tables, and lots of Space. (And this doesn't even include the explorable property outside.) The dozens of photos in the listing were very helpful, as well as the detailed descriptions. We had specific needs for elderly relatives with disabilities, and owner Lynne was so responsive in her replies to my many messages with varied questions. Truly, Lynne, you deserve a gold star from Airbnb for promptness and offering up ways and help that made our stay both easier and fulfilling.

Perfect for our family. The beds were soft and comfortable, the linens and pillows were high-quality. The place was absolutely spotless clean. The backyard and property was quiet and serene. Thoughtful details like step stools to reach higher shelves or for toddler handwashing. Our twins loved sleeping on the trundle bed. Beautifully curated artwork throughout the home. Quiet street with historic homes. Location was perfect for us- near our extended family. We look forward to staying again.

Very clean, comfortable and well furnished home. Plenty of room. Beautiful three season porch. Beds were very comfortable. Everything was exactly as described on the website. We especially appreciated that the TV’s were hooked up to cable so we could watch local and national sports (we’re Bruins fans). We would definitely rent again.

I’ve spent the last three years staying at Airbnbs near URI and this was the best one! The home was clean, spacious and cozy. Close enough to URI and a great last stay for my son’s graduation. The kitchen has tons of stuff and having a living room and den was great for daytime lounging. I’m sad I found this place at the end of our time in RI. Thanks Lisa!

This cottage is adorable and in a great location!!! We loved the fire pit and close proximity to the beach!!! There is also a great pizza joint, liquor store, and gas station right at the end of the road so super convenient to the cottage!!! Would definitely stay here again when visiting Rhode Island!!! We had a wonderful stay!!!

Keith was responsive and friendly throughout the process! The house was nicely updated, very well equipped and immaculate! This was my second time staying at Keith's home in Narragansett, RI...it is close to all of the area's beaches, shopping, and restaurants...highly recommend!

Sean’s house is perfect for a weekend getaway. So well curated with art, thoughtful details, a cozy fireplace and overall great vibe. We went during the winter but would love to rent the house again in the spring/ summer as it’s so close to the beach. Overall great experience!

very clean and cozy place to stay. for some reason I thought I was renting a little cottage, I didn't realize it was essentially a finished walk out basement but i wasnt disappointed because the place was wonderful and i couldnt even tell anyone was upstairs. patty was super respectful of her downstairs guests. beautiful neighborhood with a small beach within walking distance, its an enjoyable walk and a great spot to launch a kayak or take a dip. central location within reasonable driving distance to many popular RI locations such as newport, Narragansett, and providence. ferry, beaches, state parks, hiking, walkable downtowns, etc nearby.

If I return to the area I will surely rent this Air B & B…this say it all!

Kevin is an amazing host, he really takes care of the place, the apartment is amazing, and pretty well located. If you come to Pawcatuck/ Westerly his apartment is a great place to stay.

Lovely home, great little place to get away for the weekend. Very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend and go back in the future.

This was our third year at Michael’s and as usual it didn’t disappoint. The location is perfect for biking or walking, the apartment is the right size for our little family and has everything we need. Michael is super responsive and helpful, the local beach is perfect. We will likely be back again next year!

Jane’s place is exactly as described. She has gone above and beyond to fit many amenities into a tiny space which I appreciated. The space was just what I needed—a place to rest my head at night that felt safe and cozy. My only real caution would be for people that are LIGHT SLEEPERS—This unit is right next to all of the parked cars and I could hear (with earplugs) every time a vehicle or house door was open and closed between 4:30-7am. Otherwise I really enjoyed my stay here and highly recommend Jane’s place.

Great little place to stay in Misquamicut beach! Super short walk to the town beach, and extremely convenient location for going to westerly or anywhere else in RI! Close to mystic/ Stonington also.

The Airbnb was an ideal location. Close walking distance to everything in town. The place was clean and comfortable to sleep in.

Had a fantastic stay. The house is spotless and equipped with everything a family needs. The beach is an easy walk, even with a young kid. The area is quiet and relaxing while also a convenient location to anything you could need or want. Sharron and Ray are helpful and responsive. A great way to wrap up the summer and get ready for fall and a new school year. Definitely recommend staying here!!
