Arend and Alice’s place is an absolute gem. The house is very large, yet cosy and inviting. There is much to rave about: modern, spacious rooms, huge dinner table, very comfortable beds, great kitchen en bathrooms. Alice and Arend are wonderful hosts who made us feel most welcome. And last but not least, the house is in a very beautiful and peaceful part of Drenthe. We can’t wait to be back.

Erwin was a very accommodating and nice or Helpful host. He personally welcomes every guest and you get a wine and some basic supplies in the fridge. The house was very clean and left nothing to be desired. He always responded to consultations and was always open to support for bars and clubs, for example. Had a great time! The internet is d**n fast and reliable, but the house is already very old and accordingly it is very noisy and the doors needed an extra jolt. But in summary, a great stay. Highly recommended.

We were there with a group of friends over the long weekend and felt very comfortable. Everything we needed was there and we had enough space to do things together, but also to do something in the house in small groups. The rooms were impeccable. Also nice was the little garden, which we had all to ourselves.

We spent a weekend in Ria's place with the family and our dog. The view of the lake is fantastic, the place was super clean, well equipped and as shown in the pictures. The surroundings are worth a visit - clear recommendation!

Fantastic stay in the beautiful back house. Lots of privacy and wonderful unobstructed views of the meadows with breathtaking sunset. Also animals spotted (herons, roe deers and a hare). Relax with all the space and luxury at hand. Extremely welcoming couple. Thank you Auke and Janet.

Only good experiences gained in Sexbierum! Great apartment, Ympkje and Hilbrand were super friendly and the area is beautiful. Quiet but the hustle and bustle is easy to find. Beautiful sunset from the dike where you also see the lighthouse of Terschelling in clear weather! We really loved our days.

Very spacious, especially the living room, friendly hosts, everything you could need was there, option for extra heating if desired was present, walking distance to the center and even closer to the Asserbos, an address to come back to

We had a great stay, the house is very spacious and cosy and we felt at home straight away, the host is friendly and helpful. We liked the location with three beautiful national parks within short driving distance. Everything was clean, beds were great, we would highly recommend the place.

Had a great stay over New Year's Eve in the loft. The cottage is very nice, ideal for two people and furnished with a lot of love for detail. As a welcome, there was a bottle of sparkling wine and a warm welcome, which made us feel right at home. Everything went smoothly, and we enjoyed the time very much. We will be happy to come back!

The visit to Tineke was completely satisfactory. She was always ready for questions, recommended one or two more activities and made us feel completely comfortable. The apartment corresponded exactly to the pictures and was really very stylishly furnished – with an eye for detail. All in all you can say that Tineke is an excellent host and her apartment keeps exactly what she promises. If you are looking for an apartment where you can relax and unwind, this is the place to be. But there are also plenty of opportunities for those who like to do something.

We enjoyed the stay. The apartment is located centrally which makes it easy to each the city center. We found the apartment tidy and clean and things worked as described. Communication was excellent. The bed room is located to the backyard and thus quite, the living room/place for the second bed is located to the main street. Overall, we enjoyed the stay and had a good time.

We stayed for a short 2 days to visit the open day at Meppel NHLstenden with our daughter. It was a perfect place to stay, in the middle of the city where we could walk to everything. Convenient parking garage just a block away. Place looked just like in the pictures, very colorful and quirky.

We spend a few wonderful and quiet days there. Everything was great.
