Our family had the most wonderful weekend stay at the Kalorama Cottage. Our last little getaway as a family of 4! Our daughter loved the place so much that she asked if we could stay forever. Clean and beautifully kept cottage with everything you need, surrounded by nature. Jade and Daniel were very welcoming and very proactive with communication prior to check-in and throughout our stay. Thank you both so much for sharing your place with us!

We had such a wonderful stay at Stephen's tiny home! The views were stunning and every moment at the property felt peaceful and special. We enjoyed visits from the native birds and the company of the two nearby goats, and we also saw some kangaroos and a wombat nearby the property on our drive back from town. It was exactly the country escape from the city that we hoped for. Sitting by fire pit in the evening whilst sipping on local wine and toasting marshmallows was absolute bliss! Stephen was very communicative, and super friendly when we bumped into him on one occasion. We would highly recommend the stay and we are really looking forward to coming back again.

The house was as described- clean, neat, comfortable for a family, and well equipped with all the necessities. We had an amazing time, and Dd is such a great host.

We had a wonderful stay at Alkira Eco-Glamping Retreat. The cabin was spotless, beautifully decorated, and filled with thoughtful touches. We especially loved the calming scent from the oil diffuser and the generous continental breakfast, with fresh fruit, snacks, and everything we needed to start the day on the fridge. The peaceful surroundings, friendly animals, and quiet atmosphere made it a perfect nature escape. The kitchen was fully equipped, which we appreciated even though we didn’t cook this time. The only challenge was the steep gravel hill from the car park to the cabin—it was manageable but could be tricky in the rain, especially with luggage. Also, while the shared bathrooms were very clean, not all guests were as considerate, which led to wet floors and untidy showers at times. Despite that, the retreat is a thoughtfully designed and relaxing space. We truly enjoyed our stay, this is a great place if you are looking to unwind and disconnect in a beautiful setting :D

Lovely apartment in a cracking location (surrounded by outstanding cafes and pubs). Kali was very helpful and made check in extremely easy.

Spotlessly clean and beautifully curated, the cottage was everything we could have hoped for and more. Peaceful, comfortable and filled with thoughtful touches, it also felt private which we appreciated. The welcome bottle of fizz was very generous as were all the other amenities designed to create a feeling of home away from home. Only a five minute drive from Daylesford, the location was super convenient and easily accessible. Similarly, Heather was incredibly responsive and quick to help with local tips and suggestions. An all-round lovely stay! We hope to visit again one day soon.

Had a wonderful stay! The host was super friendly and helpful, and the check-in/check-out process was smooth and easy. The place was clean, well-equipped, and exactly as described. Very comfortable and in a great location with convenient access to everything. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!
