Log cabin on organic farm

AdrianRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The cabin is set in a beautiful location and is roomy and well equipped. Even in February we were cosy and warm. There are thoughtful touches like board games which we enjoyed playing. There was a handy guide to local restaurants and the hosts were very welcoming and kind. We would highly recommend Tessa’s cabin , Thank you Rose & Adrian

The Barn/Beudy bach

JonRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We had a lovely few days at the Barn, using is as a base to explore the valleys, and sights in Carmarthenshire. The Barn is lovely and cosy - and actually feels bigger than it looks on the pictures. We loved the wood burning stove, with fuel provided and fire made the first night, which was a real treat to use - and if you are visiting at the right time of year, be sure to look outside at the stars in the dead of night, because we were able to see so much. The place would be easy to miss if you didn’t know where you were going, but we had very clear instructions beforehand and found it no trouble. To anyone wondering about the internet - some reviews here mention WiFi, but as advertised, there is no WiFi - which we actually enjoyed. If you need internet, mobile data doesn’t really work inside the barn, but was available as soon as one stepped outside, which was fine for our satnav purposes. Ann also offered to help us access the internet if there was an issue, but this wasn’t needed.

The Bothy Cottage @ Oak Farm

BridgetteRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a lovely week at The Bothy. A peaceful cottage in a wonderful location. Alicia is a great host - very welcoming and with lots of local information. The Bothy is well appointed and has everything you need. Pretty gardens at this time of year a sea of snowdrops. The local pub is a few minutes walk away and was great for supper. We also visited very good restaurants The Walnut Tree and The Black Bear who both serve superb food. Lots of local walks and charming towns and villages. A restful stay in a beautiful location.

Beautiful and Spacious Georgian farmhouse

LindaRating, 5 stars1 day ago
This was a great place to stay for an extended family gathering. We were greeted with a basket full of provisions which included milk for tea and coffee, and cake to keep us going before the online shop arrived. The kitchen is very well equipped and they accommodated two babies too, with cots and high chairs. Food for the alpaca’s and goats delighted the older grandchildren. The house is spacious with 4 reception areas : lounge, conservatory, dining room and games room, so plenty of space for all. The accommodation and onsite activities: pool table, table tennis and tennis court, worked really well for us.

A huge thanks to Ben and Betty for being so kind and helpful, really wonderful hosts. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend for a holiday, Cardigan is a great town, lovely beaches nearby and loads of walks and countryside to roam in - straight from the doorstep.

Cosy Welsh 3 bed dog friendly canalside cottage

OliverRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Wow! The Lock House delivered. We had the most incredible stay with family and our 2 dogs. Emma has created such a wonderful space with absolutely everything you could possibly need or want. This was the best Airbnb we've ever stayed at. Secure garden for the dogs and we could walk them straight out of the door and on the canal. The space was immaculately presented and set on a lovely farm with views out of every window. Just perfect.

What a lovely place to stay, absolutely lovely surroundings. The host was lovely and answered any questions we had. We had asked if there were any lovely spots to eat at for Sunday lunch and he gave us great advice on where to go. They were really lovely place to eat. There was lots of different browsers of where you could go, which gave us that idea to think about. One of the best places we have stayed. There was lots of different immensities that were super healthful to our stay. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Hicks' Hut in its own private wildflower meadow!

RebeccaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a fantastic 2 night stay at Ffynnon Beuno - the shepherds hut was extremely comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. Jane and Chris were always on hand to answer any questions and chat about the animals on the farm. The breakfast hamper was fab as well. The perfect place for a break away from everything, the farm is peaceful and the surrounding area is beautiful but also easy to get to shops or the local community owned pub which has great food!

Luxury vineyard property for 2 adults

AbbieRating, 5 starstoday
After our wedding, we found the perfect peaceful escape at this stunning Airbnb. The listing caught our eye, but it was even more beautiful in person — with breathtaking views, a serene setting, and a cosy, luxurious feel. Christiane, our host, was incredible from the start. Once she knew it was our honeymoon, she went above and beyond — allowing early check-in, offering to store items before the big day, and leaving us a thoughtful welcome with wine, chocolates, love hearts, and a handwritten card. The house was spotless, modern, and had everything we needed. We enjoyed great meals in Carmarthen (don’t miss The New Curiosity or Florentino’s), explored Cardigan, and visited the spa at the Cliff Hotel. Even with rainy weather, it didn’t matter — we were just so happy to be there. Whether you’re after a romantic break, a quiet retreat, or somewhere to mark a special moment, this place is a gem. We can’t wait to return — thank you, Christiane!

A first-class stay for our family of 5. The 'package' far exceeds the description! If you like the idea of walks in a private wood, down to a quaint stream then this is for you! The host provided incredible experience for our family (3 children 5 and under). Lots to do nearby, and the recommendations provided are perfect for all visitors! To top off each day is the hot tub and fire for the adults! All in all, the perfect stay for us, and most highly recommended!

Perfect Stay – Highly Recommended! We had an absolutely wonderful two-day stay at this charming cottage with my family. It was equipped with everything we could possibly need, making it feel like a true home away from home. From the comfortable beds to the well-stocked kitchen, every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. The peaceful surroundings and the host’s warm hospitality made our stay truly perfect.
