Holiday houses in Waitomo District

We had a fantastic stay here while we worked at a conference in Te Kuiti. had everything we needed, beds were comfortable and house was warm along with comfy bedding for the chilly mornings. Views from the house during sunrise were peaceful. Would definately reccomend. Thanks team

This place is a true find❤️!!! While we have enjoyed our beach stays in New Zealand, this exceptional country accommodation is an absolute must for anyone traveling to NZ. There were 4 of us (my husband and I plus our 2 adult kids). The cabin was perfect for this trip AND on our next stay here we will book at their larger cabin. Both cabins are absolutely gorgeous and decorated beautifully. There are many gorgeous close hikes plus lots of drivable activities. We went to one of the Hobbit film locations (Hairy Feet Tours) just a 2 minute drive or 15 minute walk from our cabin. We have a stunning view of the rock cliffs from our place. I strongly suggest staying at this place as part of any trip to New Zealand. It's private, quiet, has an amazing host, and is totally first class. Simply a must!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This is one of those rare rentals where it breaks your heart when it’s time to check out. Quiet setting a beautiful drive from Waitomo attractions.

Sandra is a wonderful host with a really special place! She’s friendly, responsive, and provides good local recommendations. The place is spacious, clean, has a comfy bed, great water pressure, and gorgeous views of hills and pastures! We were planning on staying one night but booked two nights since the other reviews recommended to stay longer and so glad we did! Thanks again Sandra for a lovely stay!

We stayed for four nights at Rock Retreat, and it was a great experience😊 Biddy was very helpful and the cabin is cosy and has a beautiful view and a lovely terrace. We can strongly recommend staying in Rock Retreat - enjoyed the tranquility and surroundings.
