Absolutely wonderful home and room. Super clean and spacious room with everything you need (including access to kitchenette). You'll love the sunny afternoons by the pool, and there's a BBQ to use too! Sharon and Roland are 10/10 hosts, accommodating but not intrusive, and very open, friendly and relaxed which is vital for a shared house! They were also kind and understanding of our very nervous dog. Good people to the core. We loved the stay.

Angela was super helpful. We had a grocery delivery that had to arrive early and she put it inside for us including putting the cold things in the fridge. She also gave us an early check-in which was super helpful with travelling with kids.

I so appreciated staying at Tendai's place. A very lovely family. Friendly. Helpful. The space is comfortable. I was there to work for a week in Papakura which was an easy 15-minute drive either by motorway or back roads. The view is beautiful; you can see the sun come up over the hills each morning. I would say it is a hidden gem. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at Kylee and Mat's beautifully renovated home. The house is spacious with four well-appointed bedrooms, and the high-quality linens in the bedrooms and bathrooms were fantastic. Everything was very clean, fresh, and luxurious. The outdoor spaces were a highlight, with a fantastic pool for relaxation and family fun, a cozy fire pit for s’mores and an awesome inground trampoline and ping pong table to keep everyone entertained. The outdoor lighting created a magical atmosphere, and the gorgeous extensive grounds provided ample space for our family to enjoy. With kids ranging from 2 to 16, this home was ideal for all of us. The peaceful surroundings and beautiful views made it feel like our own slice of paradise. The thoughtful touches, like QR codes for home instructions, gift basket and flowers were very much appreciated. Kylee and Mat were really friendly and helpful and we highly recommend this family-friendly retreat to anyone! We loved our stay, thank you.

Very easy to deal with I booked this place for a staff member as they were traveling for work and they were happy with the place :) Dealing with Kirsten was easy and she was well organized for sorting check in.

We had a 2 night stay at "Heart of it all" in Cambridge, New Zealand hosted by mother and daughter duo (Catherine & Rhiannon) as part of our trek through the country. We chose the home thanks to its positive reviews, walkability to downtown, and driving proximity towards the Hobbiton movie set. They were very hospitable during our stay allowing us an early check in, free parking, access to their washer and dryer, alongside some goodies on their kitchen counter (bench) including instant coffee, tea, museli (granola), and some snacks. Aside from some cleanliness (e.g cobwebs & insects), the bedroom and bathroom was roomy up a flight of stairs allowing us to get ready and situated after a long day. Don't forget your international adapter. Loved their two big dogs who were a joy to greet, pet, and play with. They even gave us recommendations (e.g. delicious pizza at Alpino) and welcomed us for conversation and drinks before they had dinner. Thank you again Catherine & Rhiannon!
