Millstream Cottage

We had a great stay and would definitely recommend this listing. Pamela was a very attentive host, making a birthday getaway very special and making sure we had everything we needed throughout the stay. The place is in a great location for getting around Bakewell by foot and was very fairly priced.

Luxury 2 Bedroom Cottage (Sleeps 4) Stunning Views

JulieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Andy is an excellent and responsive host and it was lovely to meet Gina on arrival too. They both very thoughtfully helped make a special birthday late get away even more special. Beautiful cottage, so clean and luxurious. Lots of little touches including quality toiletries, milk, bread and eggs added to the charm of this lovely cottage. Everything you could need was provided. There was a weather warning for a storm during our stay but that didn't bother us, we simply lit the fire after dark, shut the curtains and thoroughly relaxed. Beds very comfortable with quality linen and soft fluffy towels in the very clean and well thought out bathroom. The hamper left for us was lovely and appreciated too. We will certainly be back later in the year for another really relaxing break and more walks in such a beautiful area , hopefully it will be less windy next time! Thank you from us and our 2 rescue spaniels šŸ˜Š

Period town house, right in the Heart Of Bakewell

LucyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This is a perfect place for a group get together. In the heart of Bakewell but also still feels private. Really good kitchen so you can cook breakfast in. The lounge and dining area was perfect size for 10 of us to sit around and have a wholesome night. Pizza place underneath the Airbnb was amazing and the pubs in Bakewell are good traditional pubs

Delightful Studio House-superb location!

MeganRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Soozey and Jen are absolutely fantastic hosts! Their tiny home was immaculate and so cosy! Everything was so well thought out and instructions for how to work everything were very clear. The pellet burner was a lovely added touch to make it extra cosy on a winter evening and so easy to use thanks to their instructions. You can tell Soozey and Jen really care about making their guests feel welcome and we loved the little hot chocolate station which was perfect after a long cold walk. The shower was lovely and hot and the electric heaters soon warmed the place right up. We really wish weā€™d booked to stay longer as it was one of the best nights sleep ever as it was so peaceful and perfect for our little getaway for my partners birthday. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Swiss Cottage, a heritage cottage, stunning views

TalaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a lovely weekend getaway with the family, we really enjoyed the surroundings and discovering the stunning views. A very memorable trip for us for sure and would come back for sure in the spring/summer. The house is super cozy and warm we enjoyed cooking there, having meals and having memorable time together and making memories. It was a true English experience and everyone enjoy their time . The location is very close to the station so it is easy to get in and out. I wish we had more time to explore. Glenys was a super welcoming host she made us feel at home and we thank her for her hospitality and attention to details. We hope to visit again soon.

We had a lovely stay at Ruth's cottage, we felt really welcome and at home. Ruth had lots of information about local walks, pubs, restaurants etc and was really responsive to messages. We stayed over Christmas and Ruth had decorated the cottage with Christmas decorations which was a really lovely added touch. We had a fantastic break and would definitely stay again.

Peaceful cottage Peak District, nr Bakewell

MeganRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a lovely stay at Mandyā€™s cottage. It was perfect for a peaceful break with beautiful surroundings, whilst still being only a short drive from some of the most popular parts of the Peak District. Mandy was also very helpful and responsive in our communications when preparing for our trip. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a nice place to stay and experience the Peak District.

Cosy Traditional Peak District Cottage

DavidRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a delightful stay in Biggin (January 2025). The cottage was perfect for our needs and the porch with the radiator was a god send given we had heavy snow and as a result we were soaked, our boots were wet and the dog was needing a good warm place to dry off . All aspects of the cottage were great and in truth if i could transport the cottage to the west coast of Scotland, (closer to our home) I would buy it in a heart beat. The small thoughtful touches of leaving a towel for the dog and a full tin of dog treats demonstrates how thoughtful Carian is. If we make it back to the Peak District you can be assured we would have no hesitation to book the cottage again.

Peak District village cottage with stunning views

MichaelRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Rosie's place in Youlgreave was beautuiful. The views from the back of the cottage were stunning. So many interesting walks all close and some starting within a short distance of the cottage. From the back of the Cottage everything slopes right down to the River Bradford. Lovely walks along there so close! Nice Pubs in the Village and within easy reach of Bakewell & Chatsworth House & Estate. Rosie's Cottage was beautifully appointed and had everything we needed. Lovely & warm. Would not hesitate to recommend this little gem to anybody! The only small problem we had was parking in the Village but there is a parking area at the top of the Village which we found later.

Cosy Grade ll listed cottage Central Peak District

DarrenRating, 5 starstoday
We spent two nights staying at this beautiful cottage. The location was ideal due to being so close to Bakewell and Buxton. The stay itself was beautiful with a great selection of choices to watch stuff on tv whilst also being able to use the log burning fire. We didnā€™t get the chance, but there was a pub only a couple of minutes walk away from the property which looked very appealing and somewhere we would look to visit upon a second visit! The communication with the host was fantastic and the amenities within the stay were brilliant! I cannot stress enough at how much of a lovely stay this was!!

Rocking Stone Cottage - Idyllic Rural Retreat

PolinaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a magical stay. Rachael is a fantastic host who kindly provided us with all the information necessary for the trip, including all the nearby points of interest, walks and restaurants and much more. She is most welcoming and we felt right at home. The cottage was stunning in every detail and comfortable and a Christmas tree gave so much atmosphere. It is surrounded by beautiful nature and views and is a great getaway from the city life as well. We had a fantastic stay and would absolutely love to come back.

we had a great time staying at Matt's place. The house was beautiful and in a gorgeous location in the countryside but also close enough to Chesterfield for access to the train station. Matt was super responsive and gave lots of helpful recommendations about places to eat/visit. The cake left as a welcome gift was also really Kind, would definitely recommend staying here!

Luxury 4 Bedroom Home with Panoramic Views

MatthewRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We went to celebrate my wifeā€™s 40th and it was certainly special, beautiful house and the views were just incredible. On the second day one of our kids did a timelapse of the sunrise which was just out of this world. The only negative was the weather conditions had been awful so lots of snow and ice which meant the slopped drive way was unusable. Owners kindly ordered a shovel but due to have frozen everywhere was it unfortunately didnā€™t do the job and parking is limited. That said we all had a wonderful weekend.
