Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Vivonne Bay

Bright and spacious accommodation very conveniently located for Kingscote where there is a good selection of shops and restaurants. Christine and her team could not have been more helpful with oodles of recommendations and suggestions for our stay. Recommend.

It was lovely to stay in a place that no only accepted dogs but celebrated them. It was perfect for a quiet getaway with our fur baby.

Place is beautiful and matches photos! Furnishings are very well thought out and instantly give you a holiday vibe. We had a local koala in the next door neighbour’s tree and we saw an echidna cross the road not far from the property. The beach was fun to fish in the evening and the beach definitely looked like a good crabbing beach throughout the day. Great central location, being not far from Kingscote and not far from Penneshaw. There are no supplies available without a drive though so make sure you have supplies. Would highly recommend to others if you are looking for a relaxing getaway! Kevin is a great host to deal with also, thanks again for a lovely stay.

Absolutely beautiful home. It was very clean and comfortable. Our two little kids loved playing outside in the cubby and boat, and there were lots of toys and games to keep them occupied. Table tennis table was great for the grown ups! Kitchen was spacious and well stocked, bathrooms very clean, and lots of space to spread out. It was lovely to sit out on the deck and watch the roos and wallabies come out in the mornings and evenings. The only downside we found to this lovely house was that the bedrooms got quite hot in the afternoons and the a/c doesn’t reach that far to cool them down (it mainly does the living spaces and the master bedroom). Only an issue for us because the kids needed to have afternoon naps in there. Opening the windows in the evenings helped cool things down for the night. Thank you Tamara for having us. We would love to come again!

Paula's place was nice to stay at, very private, clean, tidy and communication was clear and and responsive.

My family loved our stay at Rose’s beach house on Kangaroo island. The house looked better than the photos! The 3 bedrooms were perfect for our family of 4. The beds were very comfortable. The deck looked out to the ocean and had lots of seating. The IGA is close by (you can even walk). The location is also close to the sculpture trail. I would recommend Graceland to anyone visiting Kangaroo Island.

Definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting to stay in Penneshaw. Close to town but also very quiet and peaceful. It has everything you could need for a relaxing stay.

Very homely feel in main street. Walk to waterfront, perfectly located in the quiet end of town. Breakfast provisions were very thoughtful & unexpected. Kitchen had everything you needed. Communicated well, friendly and accommodating. Our friends from the USA loved it. Would highly recommend Elise’s place.

We had a wonderful stay at Jalilla Village. We enjoyed the surroundings, especially being welcomed by wallabies near our door on the first night. The house was clean, comfortable and well-organised. Highly recommend this accommodation!

Great second floor apartment in Kingscote with a beautiful balcony view of the ocean and wharf area. The apartment is well-appointed with comfy bedding, plush towels, and fully equipped kitchen. I am a swimmer so enjoyed the public tidal pool just down the street. Lots of restaurants, although most stop serving at 8 pm. Rachel was a wonderful host, always immediately responsive. I asked her for a 3-day itinerary and she came up with the perfect itinerary based on my interests.

We found Kirsty’s place ideal for our family holiday. Kids all slept well and really enjoyed the tv in their bedroom along with the games and books that were provided. It was very quiet and peaceful and we felt like it was a home away from home. We would recommend this place to anyone staying in Kingscote, especially families.

Rachel was a fantastic host, amazingly quick responses, great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. The accomodation was really peacefull, spotless presentation inside with a great view and location is close to all required amenities. All necessary appliances and nice big bathroom, big bath, huge shower and bedroom had a king size bed and robes had a lot of hanging space. Perfect for a couples stay. Would definitely stay again

Our 2 br unit was spotlessly clean, with everything we needed. Close enough to the town centre - supermarket and cafes and worked well as a base for the rest of the island. Kirsty made contact during our week's stay to make sure we had all we needed and we sure did.

Everything wonderfully great complex so loving the apartment very nice everything you need small attentions from Renè such as oatmeal mmmm very tasty honey and spices, water..... really great The highlight next to the koala on the tree in the garden was the view of Emu Bay Beach thanks for everything Sabine and René

This Airbnb is an absolute gem! If I could, I would give 6 stars out of 5. It is located in a tranquil coastal community with amazing wildlife. You will see koalas on the trees right in front of the house, kangaroos hopping in the back garden, and echidnas trying to find food in the front garden. I should also mention the amazing starry sky. Nevertheless, it is only a short drive to Kingscote, which is the biggest town on the island. The Airbnb itself is very spacious and has a beautiful sea view. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped and has everything that you need. And when I say "everything", I really mean "everything"! It's not the typical Airbnb kitchen, which has all the basics, but you could tell that Herb really made an effort to equip the kitchen as if it were your home. Herb himself is an absolute gentleman, who welcomed us personally, showed us around and helped us a lot to plan our stay on the island. He provides a lot of local information and is lovely to talk to.

We had a great stay. We were provided clear instructions and helpful recommendations before our arrival. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Thanks for hosting us!
