The pictures don’t do this place any justice!! This home was amazing tons of things to do even in November!!! And the VIEW WAS STUNNING FROM INSIDE AND ON EVERY DECK DID I MENTION IT WAS 4 DECKS TO SET AND WATCH THE WATER! My family was so happy with this home none of us wanted to leave! We will definitely be booking again… Thank You for allowing us to share your home….

Colby’s place was spacious and accommodating for our family’s lake house vacation. Super clean and comfortable and fully equipped with everything needed. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Ronald was a great host, communicative and attentive. The house was very clean and suited our family of six perfectly. We were there in late December and enjoyed the peace and quiet this time of year allows. We had rain for most of our stay, but the lake was beautiful at every time of day in all weather. We even read in the covered swings on the dock during the rain and loved hearing the rain fall on the roof and the lake. The house itself provided tons of a fun with ping pong, foosball, games, puzzles and the hot tub. We would have ventured out to some of the nearby hikes that Ronald mentioned if the weather had been dryer. We would love to visit again in the summer and experience the lake at that time of year too. Thank you, Ronald, for accommodating our family for a peaceful, quiet stay - it was just the R & R we were hoping for!

We had a great time as a family of 6 (5 adults and 1 child), enjoying a Thanksgiving getaway on the lake. The house itself has tons of space, very comfortable, fast Wi-Fi, and matched the descriptions, but the real highlight was the amazing views of the lake and being able to walk down to the water and the dock. We also did some stargazing at night, and actually managed to spot the Milky Way on a particularly clear night, along with way more stars than you'd typically see just 70 miles from a major metro area like the triangle. Overall would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet lakefront getaway.

Johns is an excellent host. We have stayed at his property at Mariners Landing several times. House is clean and fresh with plenty of space . House is on golf course with accessible pools across the street. Johns property is in a nice quiet area with lots of walking paths. John is very helpful and responsive to any questions. We will be back in May.

Pat and Mike were wonderful, stayed in contact and answered messages quickly. They sent extra supplies and fresh homemade cookies when we extended our stay. The farm tour was great, Mike showed us all the animals, all the cool places on the farm, and the kids loved the hayride and the chickens. We were able to collect fresh eggs each day. We loved seeing Gus each day. The home was great, they really thought of everything and it was great to have breakfast staples in the morning when we arrived late at night the night before. We enjoyed our stay, beds were comfortable, and was a peaceful place to stay.

Our family enjoyed our too short of a stay over the thanksgiving holiday! This beautiful home provided all the essentials and space we needed to have a beautiful Thanksgiving feast to enjoy with family! The 2 ovens came in handy to heat our meal. We also had a short drive to enjoy hiking at the Smith Mountain Lake State Park. Would be a beautiful place to stay and visit in the warmer months as well.

Vanessa and Elton's place is fabulous! Very clean, well-stocked kitchen, like a home away from home. It is evident that Vanessa is detail oriented as she had clear instructions for all aspects of our stay. The decor of the condo is beautiful, and the bed is comfortable. Thank you, Vanessa and Elton, for sharing your beautiful place with us!

The place was just like the photos . We loved everything about it . I will say the bed was so comfy and cozy . I would highly recommend staying here !
