Mountain cabin in quiet surroundings with own boat

We really enjoyed our stay in July. The cabin had all we needed with a splendid view as well. We walked to Fagersand just below the cabin for a very children friendly short hike and a swim from the sandy beach. From the cabin we drove to Rjukan and Gaustatoppen for a great day of sightseeing and hiking. Amazing nature!

We were 9 people (5 adults and 4 children). Kristine's house met all our standards of comfort and elegance, with a magnificent view of the mountains and lake. The location is really nice for nature lovers and children for hiking, tobogganing and skiing. We wanted to discover Norway in all its splendor, and now we have! Kristine is available and will advise you on what to see and do in the area. We 100% approved this house!!!😁

Rofshus is a little gem in Rauland. You want to tell everyone about the place, but most of all want to keep it to yourself 😊 We felt welcome from the first minute and Berit and her husband were so friendly and welcoming. Can only recommend their lovely place.

Great winter and summer cabin

We visited the cottage, the family with 3 children (15/13/4). enjoyed peaceful settings. cozy and modern cottage which was very spacious and well organized. easy to feel at home and relax from the first moment. We missed the opening hours of the water park located in Hovden. (Note they are closing Monday - Wednesday, but check current status). We walked around, drove off for a night when it was clear sky gets to see millions of stars. Jacuzzi was really cozy and a nice way to sit and hang out without being online all the time :) We will definitely come back as soon as the opportunity is given. Large Cabin with Hot Tub & Carader

House and location are absolutely gorgeous. Kitchen had everything you need to prepare meals,living room space had board games,tv available.. House felt really welcoming and cosy and view from the window made the stay even more special.Upstairs area was really good for our 5 teenagers to sleep and ps4 was just a nice extra for the evenings to keep them doing what they love the most. Jacuzzi was easy to use,and something we all enjoyed in the evenings. Sledges,snow ball makers was a nice extra,especially if you’re coming from another country.We had lots of fun outside and even get to see northern lights. We travelled around and went to Rjukan, and Gaustatoppen.Nearby there was a ski centre,but we run out of days to go there. We would definitely come back here again.

My friend and myself were very happy with our stay at Line’s cosy Airbnb ! The view on the lake is breathtaking and the jacuzzi activity is quite fun to do. Her husband is very kind and offered us some homemade bread in the morning. He helped us with the jacuzzi and we got to spent some quality time outside with the doggies as well. Line was kind enough to let us extend our stay one more night since it was more practical for us. We highly recommend; thanks for everything :))

Great, spacious and very well equipped log cabin. The cabin is close to Haukelifjell ski center and a fantastic mountain world and has parking space for 3-4 cars. Sveinung had arranged clearing and it was definitely required. We rented the cabin with an annex and it gave us 7 men very ample bolting space - we could easily be twice as many. There is a very well equipped kitchen and it suited us foody guys very well. The only thing we couldn't do was the stomp. It probably requires even more patient and prolonged firing than the 6 hours we spent. Anyway an incredibly great stay and a nice and accommodating host.

Warm and comfortable house on the farm

We had a great holiday during the Christmas holidays. Nature is very beautiful, there was a lot of snow. The landlords and the neighbors very friendly and helpful. The house has character: with love, very traditional and yet quite modernly furnished. We enjoyed the evenings on the couch by the fireplace. The kitchen had everything you could need. We would definitely recommend this accommodation.

We were 5 people staying in the house in August. It’s a beautiful house as described with a great view over the lake. The information center for the national park is only a 2 minutes walk away. Nevertheless, the spot is private and very quite, perfect for a relaxing time. It’s a great spot for activities like hiking various trails nearby or visiting the national park. We were really impressed by the spectacular nature. The house was clean and had all amenities making our stay a great experience. Check-in was easy and very flexible. Stein-Arve was a very helpful and responsive hosts, providing us with many information on possible activities. We can really recommend the house for a stay in the area.

Staying at Aasmund’s place was so peaceful and cozy. Aasmund is a kind and considerate host who had interesting stories to share about his beautiful home and the area. We felt so lucky to stay there during our time in Norway. Det var så koselig—tusen takk Aasmund!

Super, spacious cabin/apartment in great neighborhood! Contained all we needed of kitchenware (and more). Lovely ski slopes right outside and short distance to slalom slopes. Nathalie always responded quickly to what we were wondering about. Would love to be here longer. Recommended!
