We were traveling as a family of 4 with 2 young children (4+2 years old). The guesthouse is just as expected from description and pictures, very clean and offers all the things you need + fully equipped kitchen to cook. We really appreciated that we received a ton of kids toys that kept our little ones entertained. The property is large and lovely. When it gets cold, the jaccuzi is perfect to warm everyone up. Other positive things: parking on property, large pool with great view, 2 very large double beds, proximity to town (15min / 20min walk), lovely running routes just outside the door. Highly recommend!

It is an ideal place to rest and enjoy the facilities, especially if you go with children. The only problem was finding the house because the location, by coordinates, was not accurate. But they came to pick us up where we were to guide us to the house. Everything correct, 100x100 recommended.

We had a lovely stay at this property. The house has a charm that hints at its former glory as a stylish and high-end home, though it does show signs of wear and could benefit from some repairs. For example, only one of the gates works, and the fob for it can be temperamental. This is the sole entry point, which made it a bit inconvenient at times. Some windows were broken, and the kitchen was quite basic in terms of cooking supplies. That said, the house is priced fairly for what it offers. If it were in pristine condition, we imagine it would be listed for much more. The gardens are stunning, and the views are absolutely breathtaking. We especially loved watching the sunrise in the mornings and seeing the lights of Alvor Marina in the evenings. The location is peaceful and offers a great retreat, but we would recommend having a rental car, as it’s not easy to rely on rideshares—some Ubers canceled on us, and the wait times were about 30 minutes. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay

We had a great stay. The Villa is huge and just as in the pictures. Lovely beaches and local restaurants. The pool which we heated was fantastic. Marisa lives next door which was a great help when we left a phone in a taxi which her husband was able to help us with. Would stay again if we came back to this part of the Algarve.

Magnificent Manifesting! We had the most wonderful stay in this beautiful villa. Outside area was absolutely gorgeous and well maintained. Lovely outside cooking and dining area which we used a lot and the sea is much closer than appears in the pictures. Kitchen was well equipped and the local shops are an easy and beautiful walk to pick up any additional extras. Close to lovely restaurants and bars filled with friendly people and staff. Luz is a wonderful location to explore the Algarve however a week is not enough as there is much to see and do 😉. Just a note that the access to the pool area would not be conducive to someone with mobility issues but is beautiful. Something that everyone really appreciated was the very positive water pressure 😂 seems like a small thing however weirdly it matters. I would not hesitate to stay again or recommend this villa to friends and family. Ideally located, with charm and character in a beautiful location, sea breezes and with a fab host 🙏

This villa is amazing, we loved the place! It is very spacious inside and outside, and the balcony with the sea view is just perfect. A great spot to catch sunrise and sunset. The kitchen is very well equipped and the villa has everything you could want. It is a really special place - if you get the chance to stay, do it! You do need a car if you are staying though, but there are lots of lovely places within a short drive. Checking in and check out we’re super smooth and easy and the host was very responsive. Thanks for a great stay.

Villa Alba was a great place to stay to explore the Western Algarve. The Villa had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Well stocked kitchen appliances and cutlery. The bathrooms were all very nice, and the beds comfortable. Lagos is a magical place to visit with so much to see and do.

The house is very large and well equipped. The listing is as described. The pool deserves to be heated (but we did not have the hottest weather viewpoint). The place is quiet and easily accessible by car. Very close to Lagos and all amenities (shops, restaurants, bar). Roberto is very responsive and available as needed. Anyway, stay at the top

Amazing place. Invited friends and family to celebrate a birthday and we had the most amazing time. The house is clean and bright, the pizza oven is a definite highlight, and the dogs had the best time running around the yard! Can’t wait to plan something with tiny whale lodge again!

This villa is an absolute must if you want to stay in the best location in Lagos. The home is spotless, modern, has every amenity you could need, so much space, incredible views and extremely comfortable. It is a short and easy walk into Lagos, in a quiet and peaceful area, you can enjoy everything that Lagos has to offer while also having your own private and comfortable space. Giuliana is an incredible host, extremely friendly, funny and responsive and gave us so many recommendations that it really made our holiday perfect. 10/10 - everyone should stay here!

We absolutely loved our stay. The location is lovely, so close to the beach! And, there are some nice restaurants and cafes in the village of Luz which is just a few minutes walk, just moments away. Also amazing restaurants in Lagos if you have a car, you can drive in about 15 minutes to Lagos, where there is shopping, all sorts of things to do and also boat tours. There are lovely walks and hikes nearby also. It is a beautiful property, wonderful location, and we had a very memorable stay. The hosts were great at communicating all the details about the property as well. Highly recommend!
