Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Vieira do Minho

The cottage is superb, renovated and very pleasant. The whole place is very clean and well-equipped (kitchen, bedroom and bathroom with everything you need). The terrace is lovely as soon as the sun is there. We were there in autumn/winter so we did not enjoy the pool but it must be perfect in summer. It is set in a beautiful natural environment with an amazing view. Be careful though because access is quite difficult, the road is narrow, winding and very steep: not suitable for long and/or low cars.

Very cozy house, where you breathe clean air and you are at peace! The house was very clean, arranged and very well-equipped, with first aid kit, extra duvet, blankets and heaters. I highlight the kitchen, which had everything we needed, from spices to impeccable kitchen utensils. We brought firewood and it was undoubtedly the best decision, as the fireplace makes the experience even better and warms the whole house. In addition, the neighbors are very friendly and helpful! The area is equally excellent, very quiet and with fascinating landscapes. In relation to parking, the house has room to park the car in front of it, but for those who have a large car like us, it is possible to leave at the beginning of the street. This house is ideal for those who want to get out a little of the confusion and the day-to-day rush and live a few days of quiet, peace, comfort and being in contact with nature!

Great for a family, we had a wonderful weekend. Nice to have 3 full bathrooms, never a wait even with many adults getting ready! Beautiful view of the river, bridges, landscape of the area. Super convenient with good restaurants and a supermarket in walking distance. Would love to stay here again on our next vacation to Gerês.

We rented this house to celebrate New Year and had an amazing experience! The view is breathtaking, the house is very warm because of the fireplace and multiple air conditioners, and the location is very calm and private, without neighbors. The condition of the house is impeccable, perfectly new and clean furniture and very well-equipped kitchen. The owners, Rita and João, are extremely friendly and attentive (they even put a Christmas tree after our request!). We can absolutely recommend this house – it is the best we've ever been to in Gerês!

The space is extremely calm and ideal for those looking to rest. The outdoor area is excellent and the house is very well equipped and has all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The host, Ana, was very dear and attentive to all the details. I recommend it!

I loved the cottage; it was quaint, clean and private with lots of friendly cats who welcomed us. The only real issue I had was the bed was very hard. Maybe a mattress topper? Marie is outstanding as a hostess.

Beautiful location and view from the balcony, great kitchen setup, has everything you need for cooking. The pool is lovely and stunning view of the river and mountains. Close drive to food, market and Gerês National park. Lastly, the hand embroidery on the pillows on the lounge pillows and bedsheets was a beautiful touch.

I've stayed in many places around the world, but Conceição has been the best host to date, very friendly and helpful. The house is very well taken care of, and we feel totally welcome.

Great place for a family to enjoy a wonderful rest. clear instructions at the address, photos and amenities. Although it was only one night it was still possible to enjoy the wonderful swimming pool. Thank you for receiving us in the hope that we will be back soon and now for longer! More than recommended!

Nice and clean flat - 15 Minutes, walking distance from the city center

We had a great time at João's! As soon as we arrived, João welcomed us very warmly and felt right at home. The apartment is excellent! Super clean and super cute! The bedding is of very good quality. We slept very well. We also really enjoyed the calm. Very good location, very close to the city center and very good restaurants nearby. We will come back without hesitation! Many thanks to João!

The apartment had everything we needed and more! We could want for nothing! Beautiful town and quiet neighborhood. Would highly recommend if you are headed to northern Portugal.
