Holiday rentals with breakfast in Vásquez de Coronado

Thank you for the unforgettable experience. The Origin Mansion is iconic if you’re looking to host a big bash. There is something for everyone and the pictures don’t do the property justice!

A beautiful rustic house overlooking the volcanoes. We had a minor issue with the water and Tomás was quick to take care of it. Other than that our stay was perfect. Do keep in mind the biggest room is downstairs, so not suitable for somebody who has trouble with stairs. But the three rooms in the main area still have enough beds. This would be an awesome place for a big family. Close to Poás and the peace waterfalls. My teenage children all loved it.

Very nice accommodation. Anna, Martha and Juan Carlos were extremely friendly, we felt very comfortable and very well received. In particular, the roof terrace with the great view of the Irazu, as far as the weather plays along, was fantastic. Cartago is certainly the better alternative to San Jose. We'd come back in a heartbeat.

This was one of my favorite stays. The house is beautiful and it is furnished very well. It is very comfortable and nice. Jorge, the butler, is a very nice man. He aims to please. He will disappear if you don’t need him, but he appears instantly whenever you need anything. I will be staying here again. I am looking forward to returning.

This was a great place to stay, we would definitely do it again! The communication process before arrival was good. The caretakers were very friendly and very helpful. The house was huge, luxurious, and had amazing views. All and all our family had a great couple of days at the house. Having said all of that, there were a few cons: -The road to get to the place was horrible, it was muddy with a lot of potholes. -There are chickens in the back yard. Some people might like that, but the rooster would crow in the middle of the night and wake us up. -The house was "surface" cleaned, but it could definitely use a deep clean. The fridge was dirty, there was a lot of dust and dirt under furniture, etc.

Victoria was a gracious hostess. She ensured that we were picked up and dropped off at the airport in a timely manner by her driver who was early both days. Our four night stay was very pleasant and relaxing. Victoria recommended a local restaurant that was exquisitely flavorful at a very reasonable fee. Highly recommend!

An excellent place to share, proximity to the city of Heredia, nice and comfortable.

First time in Costa Rica was not disappointed. this apartment- hotel was only a 20min uber ride($18) without traffic and 40mins with traffic. Very walkable and safe only 600 ft from Sabana park you can walk through to get to the south side sabana which will take you to where the museums are. or it's a 5-10min uber ride to the national theater ($4). the hotel is nice and boutique style with well maintained grounds. not 1 bug in sight. self serve laundry site in the basement (1 washer load & 1 dryer loaded cost me $10) 1 bedroom has king bed very comfy and clean with bathroom, shower only other bedroom 2 full beds with bathroom. shower only. no face clothes are given just bath towel and hand towel. kitchen is full and functional. elevator working. breakfast was great every morning and the attached Italian resturant is very good with no extra charges for room service! highly recommended for any style traveler!

This B&B is gorgeous!!! The room was comfortable with an in suite bathroom. There’s a terrace where you can relax that’s absolutely stunning. I ordered dinner the night I stayed and it was delicious, as was the breakfast (huge portions). Laurie was helpful in arranging airport transfer which was only a 15 minute drive from her place. It’s a quiet neighborhood and great place to stay if you want to be near the airport or away from the craziness of downtown San Jose.

You have created such a professionally appealing accommodation and so wonderfully integrated into the given literally beautiful landscape... and with so much love in detail. If we had known how comfortable we would feel during the stay, we would have taken even more time... Anyway to you Karsten + Conny

The host was very helpful and let me check in early. She spoke english well enough that communication was easy and she was very responsive to questions that I had. If you are going to the Basilica which is the main attraction in town the location could not be better. The Basilica is directly across the street and the breakfast area has a good view of it. I could not believe that they served breakfast as a part of this very low priced, very clean and comfortable room. I will book it when I come back! It is also only about a $60 dollar taxi ride to the airport on an uber so its ideal place to spend both the first night or two in country and when exiting.

Pleasant, clean and good service. We were allowed to stay in the room until the afternoon at no extra charge. Thank you!

Wonderful stay, we will be back!

The place is in a quiet area, you can feel safe and only 10 minutes to the larger shopping center. Continental breakfasts delicious, friendly, smiling, and supportive guests. Rooms are clean, well-maintained. If we go back to San Jose, it's also to Casa Lima. :)
