Holiday houses in Valley Mills

My college group gets together twice a year (April/October). We recently lost our "go to" place because of a sale, and really struggled to find a comparable substitute. Luckily, we found Brittnie's place. The property (acreage that borders Lake Whitney) and house(s) were perfect for our needs while also being clean and comfortable. The large main room is truly amazing and the ping pong table/pool table/shuffleboard table were all great. We will not have to search for a new place again. My family loved our stay at the farmhouse! Very peaceful, and lots of open space to relax and even say hi to the cows next door. The bunk bed room is great if traveling with kids. House was clean, and host was responsive to any questions we had. It’s a great location, near yummy food: Cafe Homestead and Red Wagon BBQ, and short drive into Waco if you’re planning to see all things Magnolia-related. Beds were comfy, and big kitchen space and living room area.

Beautiful place! It feels home, was clean and my family loved best the farm life experience! The dog treats were brilliant - my kids loved feeding them to the 3 friendly dogs. The early morning walk among the sheep, visit to the coops with hot cup of coffee was priceless experience- thank you for opening your house to us this weekend!

What a respite this cabin on the outskirts of Waco was to us on our big cross country move. Sitting on the porch for morning coffee and evening sunsets was so restful and refreshing! We enjoyed the nearness to Magnolia and to Homestead Heritage but equally enjoyed going back to the peace and quiet of the cabin and the comfort of an afternoon nap! Comfy, cozy, clean and in the peaceful countryside. We highly recommend!

Angel's place went above our expectations. The home was clean and smelled amazing. The house is very spacious! We especially enjoyed the den are where we played poker and card games! The pictures do it no justice. We would definitely rent again next time we are in Waco. Thank you Angel for hosting our stay!
