Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Vallemaggia District

Beautiful and unique property. We had a lovely stay at Franziska's place, with many beds it's a great option for friends or families. The house is a restored old home with a lot of character. While for some it could be a little hazardous for small children, we stayed with our 2 year old and he had no problem going up and down the stairs. They were kind enough to get a crib for our son and were very responsive the entire time. In winter there are cozy warm stoves, and a large bathtub to enjoy. The village felt like stepping back in time. I highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

Rolando and Barbara are very attentive and helpful hosts. Present on arrival, it felt like a home away from home. We received all the necessary instructions. We felt super comfortable. It was very quiet and the surroundings were fantastically beautiful. The mosquitoes were extremely exhausting, but the accommodation and the hosts can't do anything about that. If you are looking for peace and just want to relax, this is the place to be. Great location of a great house.

It's a beautiful place that's been designed with a lot of love. Sara is very straightforward and always very accessible. We didn't miss anything, it's all there. Thanks a bunch for letting us stay there!

Andriin's place is wildly romantic. In the middle of the green heart of Ticino and surrounded by the song of the nature of Onsernone. For lovers of silence and connoisseurs of adventure. Andriin is very warm and we felt well taken care of. ☀️💫🧘🏾‍♀️

Beautifully located, ideal even without a car as a starting point of hikes over the floor and stone, but also close to the lake with culture and hustle and bustle. Great large and bright bedroom in which it was also good to work, all very lovingly furnished. Very dedicated landlady.

It's a beautiful, modernly furnished apartment, with great views of Lake Maggiore. We enjoyed the time very much. Since you can only get to the apartment via steep stairs, you should be well on foot. Climbing stairs keeps you fit!😉 Christoph is a friendly, helpful host. We will be happy to come back and can only recommend it.

I have been staying at B&Bs for a while now and this is probably my best experience. The house is lovely and we’ll cared for, the place was spotless and well organized. As it rained, we stayed a lot in and cooked a lot. That was unfortunate because they have a lovely deck with chairs and view in the lake. We were lucky to find parking all the time. To access the house there are some sets of stairs so better pack light.

In the quiet, cozy apartment with wood-burning stove, I (and my guests) quickly felt at home. The snowy winter landscape with its groomed hiking trails was just great! Public transport and shopping are a few minutes' walk away. I found Gertrud and Marco to be very pleasant and helpful hosts, you immediately feel welcome with them.

Roberto was an excellent, responsive host. The views were amazing especially from the table on the patio. We arrived after dark which was a bit nerve wracking (wouldn’t advise) but our instructions to enter the apartment were excellent which helped. The bus drivers were amazing driving up and down the road and we found the serenity of Carona charming and relaxing with easy access to Lake Lugano when needed/wanted. Carona was peaceful with lots of good walking/hiking once you figure out the area/system. We loved it. The wi-fi was spotty/slow which Roberto indicated would change soon. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We stayed a couple of nights at Fabio’s. The unit is spacious and clean. Good spot to go and explore Locarno-Ascona region.

Dear Christine, Thank you so much for your warm welcome. I had a wonderful week in Tenero. The apartment is perfectly furnished and there is everything you need to live. The Kitchen is also well equipped. I really enjoyed the covered porch to the garden, be it with coffee or wine and a good book. The central location, proximity to the train station, shops and restaurants is also very convenient. My little dog Sunny also enjoyed the days in Tenero to the fullest. Thank you!

I just want to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for the warm hospilality during our stay. We felt incredibly welcome throughout our visit, the warmth made our time truly special. We enjoyed the fresh tomatoes, pepper and the egg from the garden. Thank you for this memorable vacation and we will come back again one day.

The loft is beautifully and luxuriously furnished with a stunning terrace overlooking Lake Maggiore. It's even better than the description. We felt completely comfortable and definitely want to come back.

We felt very comfortable in the accommodation. Noemi responded quickly and attentively to our questions and concerns. Above all, the explanation by video on how to use the pellet stove was very helpful. Since it was a cool, rainy day, it was very nice to be able to heat up a little. The property is also good for people who arrive by Postbus like us. There is a small shop in the next village that has everything you need on vacation. And the nature, the tranquility are wonderful.

Marc is a fantastic host. The accommodation is a typical Swiss mountain hut with tradition, which we really liked. The arrival was comfortable, the cabin is easy to reach. Thanks Marc, we will be happy to come back.

A beautiful place in the middle of the woods – highly recommended! Alois welcomed us very warmly and was always helpful. He gave us all the important information, so we immediately felt comfortable. The cottage is lovingly furnished and ideal for unwinding and enjoying nature. I'm sure we'll be back!

Fabio, was a great host. His rustica is charming and in a fantastic location to escape into the mountains. Excellent entertainment from the neighbouring Marmots, and stunning sunsets. The chalet but has just the right amount of the basics to make it authentic, comfortable and practical. Great, thanks. James

We had a truly wonderful stay at Ca Pedrot! The cabin is super cozy, we loved the sauna, and the views are fantastic. We loved the little touches like nice bed linens and towels and luxury soaps. There's an extensive range of pots/pans, cooking utensils, etc. The cabin has plenty of privacy. It's also is on a nice snowshoe path, for winter visits. We were particularly impressed by Andy, the host, who was super communicative, got the fire going in the wood stove for us because we were arriving in the evening, gave us pointers for using the cable car and finding the cabin in the dark. True hospitality! Can't wait to go back.
