Thierry is a gem. I've been an airbnb host and rented places around the globe. Rarely will you find someone who goes so far above and beyond. The place is in one of the most peaceful settings ever. I'd highly recommend it and would love to come back. Thierry took us out in his boat and the snorkling was awesome! I highly recommend this place! Make sure to buy supplies in Uturoa before you leave...

Very pretty place, our hosts were incredibly helpful and quick to respond. We felt right at home and the place has a great snorkeling spot right in front.

We were so impressed by the space and location. Mathieu was such a gracious and helpful host. The beach was beautiful, and the location overall was laid back and calm. I recommend having him provide dinner and breakfast for your stay, as there are not very many food options nearby (and if they are they close early) but his dishes are delicious and well worth the price, which is probably the same you’d pay eating out! Overall would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a calm and relaxing place to stay on a relatively affordable budget ◡̈

If you’re looking for a 5 star resort with amenities this may not be the place for you. However, if you are looking for an eco-friendly place that is peaceful, away from the crowds, and grounding look no further. Tucked away in the mountains with an amazing ocean view, you’ll stay in this peaceful tree house. I recommend an SUV but a small car can make it up the road. Cristina was the most hospitable host and shared her knowledge and also recommendations while we stayed in her home. She was so kind and a great hostess! I would definitely go back and stay there again.

My partner & I stayed for 2 nights with Gregory & Anais - which just didn't feel enough! Whilst we weren't fortunate enough with the weather to do their electric paddleboarding they were some of the best hosts we have ever had on AirBnB - they collected us at 8:30am from the port, allowed us in to the room straight away, were so kind, friendly and generous with their recommendations. Our french is average but Gregory speaks excellent English and Anais excellent Spanish so no issue communicating. They also have mountain bikes and as we hadn't rented a car it allowed us to travel round the island (65km). They also recommended a great restaurant (Top Snack 15m cycle), a pearl farm up the road (20m walk) and a Vanilla farm/processors (Vallee de Vanilla - 1hr ride). They also provided info on the ferry to Raiatea and gave us a lift to it - just so kind! The room was great and beautifully clean and comfortable - if you go to Taha'a you must 100% stay here and meet them!! Thanks again guys!!

What a memorable experience!! First of all, the accommodation was fantastic - from the private over the water bungalow where you can relax and enjoy the incredible surroundings, to the sleeping hut up the hill with a truly spectacular view! What made this Airbnb truly special, though, was Tama and his family. They welcomed us into their family and generously shared their beautiful island with us. Thank you so much!

What a stunning, peaceful place! Incredible views - sunrise, sunset, moonrise and moonset are especially breathtaking - perfect location just outside central Uturoa, snorkeling swimming and kayaking right out front just a few steps away from the expansive front porch, comfortable pristinely clean and overall lovely space, kind thoughtful generous responsive host. Wonderful stay, highly recommend- thank you!!
