King Bed, AC/heat, Full kitchen with RO and icemaker, microwave, stove/oven, 65" Roku TV - 220 channels, and TV in bedroom, fast WiFi, ~800 sq ft. Washer/Dryer in unit. Game table. This 900 sq. ft. Casita is nestled in the foothills of the Tortolita Mts. NW of Tucson, near the main house but with its own amenities, including solar panels on the roof, tasty well water from >1,000 ft. depth, speedy reliable wi-fi and internet-enabled large-screen TV. The views from huge picture windows are gorgeous, especially to the north and west. Native plantings are of numerous indigenous and exotic cactus species, and other native bushes and trees. We love it and think you will too.

Chill out in the huge pool* (only shared with main house) & relax in a remodeled frontier cabin with hiking & mountain biking right out the front door, 5 mins to stores & restaurants. Only 15 min drive to downtown & the UA. Plenty of wildlife! It’s a perfect spot to unwind after a day in town, or get some time away to paint, write or reconvene with yourself, nature, or the one you love. (* NO HOT TUB has never worked & will NOT be working).

This home is close to two trailheads (Sweetwater Preserve and Wasson Peak trailhead), making it a perfect place to rest from a long day of hiking and mountain biking, yet it's only 5 minutes from the freeway, and a 15 minute drive to downtown. It has private parking, a full kitchen, a king sized bed, a day bed, and a couch big enough (and comfortable enough) to sleep two. The ample porch has a table and chairs for outdoor dining, as well as some furniture for lounging.
