Hard not to fall in love with this place. Everything one could dream of. It’s a very relaxed environment with two very cool humans, whom which have built a little town of their own if you don’t say! We were lucky enough to have a little tour of the place, hear about how it all started. Went horseback riding with Chris which was incredo. Swam in the pond, sat in the sauna but mostly just enjoyed the view. And hung out with the doggos. Thank you. Will definitely come again when I return to Portugal.

It was a tranquil escape in the countryside with stunning views. The house was very clean and comfortable.

Ruth's villa is highly recommended for a stay in the Algarve. We stayed there for 8 days and enjoyed the phenomenal view of the coast from the terrace in the morning and evening. Living and dining rooms are very spacious and good. The bedrooms were cozy, beds comfortable. We also liked to use the pool. There are excellent restaurants in the area. It's 30 to 40 mins to the coast. We were lucky with the weather and were able to take beautiful hikes in Monchique and on the coast. And enjoy the magnificent starry sky above the villa in the evening. The contact with Ruth was always pleasant and friendly. Thanks

We stayed here for 4 nights and had a wonderful time. Beautiful sunsets, peaceful sunrises, and fun in the pool. A very special, quirky place. The local recommendations were so helpful, we met kind people everywhere we went, even at the farmers market and the butchers, and the local Portuguese restaurants. We felt very welcome and safe. I loved walking around the grounds and identifying the fruit trees.

The house has all the amenities and much more than those described in the listing. Unfortunately, we caught one of the rainy days, but the lodge did not lose its charm. The peace is unparalleled and the outer area is amazing! We were able to have some meals on the street and it was really delicious. It could not help highlighting the decoration of the house, which mixes modern elements with older ones and makes us feel at home. We had a setback and the landlord was very helpful and helped us quickly. I strongly advise you to visit the bonnet house!
