Great location for both the City and Peaks. Open plan living area gave plenty of space for 6 adults, an infant and a pet. The place was well-equipped and well-thought-out with everything we needed.

The cottage is beautifully decorated with lots of lovely touches round the place, bubble bath, washing up liquid, blankets and some lovely welcome treats. The village is so beautiful and the cottage is absolutely lovely. Would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It was homely with everything you need. The Lord Nelson pub was just perfect with some very friendly locals and a great pint! Ingrid and Ric were thoughtful hosts who provided us with useful local information and a pint of milk to make a cup of tea at the end of a long journey! A lovely village and an amazing cottage.

Excellent property, very clean and Dan was always at the end of the phone for anything we required, including recommendations for the family trip. Highly recommended.

This is our favourite place to stay when we visit Halifax, especially when we want to bring our two dogs. It's only a few minutes' drive from the Piece Hall, Shibden Hall, the Bankfield Museum and other places we like to visit, but it is quiet and feels like countryside. Fields are on two sides, with deer and foxes that sometimes pose for us in early morning or at dusk. It's always clean. Everything we need is right there. We especially love have enough of a freezer to bring a week's worth of our dogs' favourite food. In the Halifax area we really don't want to stay anywhere else.

Wow, we loved our stay at Michael’s place and he really is a super host. Couldn’t fault his service in any way. The house itself was perfect for our group, left clean and comfortable by his lovely cleaner (Mum!). Michael was also super responsive and receptive to our needs and really friendly guy. The location itself was perfect to our needs, tucked away but still local and central. Thanks Michael, we will definitely return!

We had a wonderful stay at the Farmhouse - the postcode took us to the farm, but the cottages were close by and easy to find. The kitchen was very well stocked with crockery and there was plenty of space for 10. The kids loved the swimming pool and football field. Highly recommended.

Great value for money. Can't stress enough how friendly and reliable the staff were. We had a lovely week stay, the house was clean, the beds were comfy and the scenery was perfect. We were informed of the booking system for the swimming pool and games room, so you could have the room to yourself which was great. The pool was clean, the games room was kept tidy and the house surroundings were really lovely to walk around. You can tell the grounds were well maintained and kept in good shape as the workers never stopped, but were always so friendly. This property is perfect for bike riders, walkers and pub crawlers. You couldn't get bored.

Biggest asset was as a peaceful base for a week’s walking in the White Peak. Great location for Bakewell and Hartington areas. Good mix of scenery and plenty of dog friendly pubs. Pool a bonus. Accommodation was comfortable and a couple of maintenance issues were resolved without fuss.

We stayed in the main farm house in a group of 6. The house was beautiful, spacious and comfortable in every room. The garden was large with a hot tub, outdoor seating and sand pit for the kids. Loved the fact you can feed the goats, there was a full guide to recommended places nearby for days out and places to see or visit. The host was really lovely and available to help whenever we needed. We would definitely love to come back here and see more of the surrounding areas and especially chatsworth house and gardens. Highly recommend for anyone wishing to have a chilled, peaceful holiday and for people wanting to get out and see the beautiful local towns, history and days out with the kids. Lovely property at Eider Cottage - photos probably dont do it justice. Great location to head out to some of the walks up at Holme. Little bit hard to find but that adds to the charm of the village.

What an amazing place Scott has , the location is perfectly located to many walking routes and so much more! We went out on a few walks and coming back to Scott's place was exactly what we needed , home away from home , hot tub to relax in . The apartment is beautifully decorated, spacious and very clean. Whatever your reason for staying there the apartment will certainly cater to that! We were so lucky with the weather that the beautiful garden and seating pod were a big feature of our stay as we were able to be out in the sunshine until it dipped behind the roof well after 7pm. The whole place was spotlessly clean, downstairs was one room that was kitchen /diner /lounge, quite adequate for our needs. Upstairs was huge, with a big bathroom, good size second bedroom and a master bedroom that made us exclaim ‘wow’ when we opened the door it was so spacious with a beautiful view over the surrounding countryside…and a comfy bed…lovely.

Fantastic stay in this beautiful cottage for our Wedding Anniversary, clean, cosy, peaceful and extremely relaxing.

We stayed at Wendy’s as a base for hiking around the Peak District. The location was spot on! There were cafes and pubs only a few steps away, many supermarkets only a 10 minute drive (if that) and the hikes we wanted to do were only up to 30 minutes drive away (depending on what hikes you choose of course). The property is stunning! The beds were comfortable, it was cosy and warm. The bath was a big hit post hike! I’d advise anyone with mobility issues that the two single beds are in the upstairs bedroom which have very steep steps, but this what you should expect from a cottage. Just perfect! Thank you Wendy. We certainly would come back!!

This is our second time here and we have enjoyed every minute of it as much as the previous time!! We stayed here recently for a few days and it was a much needed break away. Eraine was once again a super responsive host!! The location of the cabin is so private and cozy and the surroundings are beautiful. Thank you for a lovely stay we will definitely return!!

Me, my husband and our two dogs had another fantastic stay. After coming last year we knew what to expect and it did not disappoint. We received a lovely welcome gift of chocs/crisps/prosecco along with a love heart balloon and even dog treats :) We love coming to this home as it is extremely peaceful with beautiful surroundings and we always enjoy walking to the local pub which is about a 25-30 min walk. The home is always very clean, tidy and we always feel right at home and nice and cosy. We’ve found our perfect little getaway therefore we will definitely be back. Thank you! 🥰
