Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Uniondale

Jeamcarlos was very accommodating and worked with us to ensure an amazing stay. We host our annual winter retreat, and the home’s location and atmosphere made it the perfect setting for a weekend of sisterhood and bonding.

Our stay at Sarah's place was lovely. the apartment is super cosy and spacious. the bathroom is very convenient and the shower is a treat after a long day of city tripping. the bus to NY stops right in front of the door (bus 154). outside traffic hours this bus takes about 50 minutes to to the city centre, at peak time this can be longer. we found out that there is an, express bus (166) that takes the highway into Palisades Park, which is a 1.5 mile walk from this Airbnb . This makes the apartment perfect for a visit to NY, with the comfort of a nice stay without paying the crazy Manhattan prices.

We lived in this property for 6 weeks with our kids and loved every moment! The house is very cozy and family friendly, it feels like you're staying in your cousins house. There is plenty of space for kids to hang out, books, and a great kitchen to prep meals. There is a good working space too. The neighborhood is safe and peaceful, and you can walk 10-20 mins and find resturants, parks, and the train station to the city. For members of the Jewish community- you'll find Kosher food and synagogues nearby. The owner was extremely helpful and responsive, they took great care of us and came by several times to help us with what we needed. Our experience was the best we could have hoped for and we hope to be back for another stay. Other reviews mentioned the bathroom doors being see-through, you can just tape some paper on them, it's not a big deal. Absolutely fantastic place in a perfect location on Fire Island. Maryann is also an incredible host—by far the smoothest communications process of any vacation rental I’ve stayed in. Would love to return to this place and check out some fantastic other properties she has. One word to the wise though— if you come early in FI offseason, there is a lot of maintenance work being done around town—-the neighbors across street somehow had someone power washing their fence for two days straight and there is some car traffic on the island. Not a dealbreaker but worth being mindful of…

Frank is an excellent host. He went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with all that you need to cook. The bed is extremely soft and cozy and I really appreciated how quiet the neighborhood was at night. I was on a business trip and the home was conveniently located to the LIRR (4 minute Uber ride) for a nice train ride to the city. It’s only 30 minutes from JFK. It was a perfect stay. I highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

AIi’s a great host. The house was as described, very spacious and well kept. Check-in was super easy as Ali sent me all the info 2 days before. The house is in a great location and everything is within driving distance. There’s also a YMCA 1 minute away which we used for workouts. Ali was also very responsive throughout our stay and made sure we were comfortable.

This was our second stay at Robert’s place and once again we really enjoyed staying at his house. Robert is a very friendly and responsive host and the house is great. Would definitely stay there again.

Great apartment, cute theme. Bed in main bedroom was soft. Parking spot was easy and so convenient. Fabulous and affordable restaurant (Maracaibo) in walking distance and coffee shop across the street. Was a great stay!

I had a wonderful stay at Mira’s apartment! It was so conveniently located near Grand Central, and it made getting around NYC so easy. The studio is very roomy, and it was comfortable to cozy up for a movie night. I was also surprised by how relatively quiet the streets were at night, considering this is Manhattan. All in all, the place was great and Mira was great to correspond with. Would stay again!

Greg was the most wonderful host. Communicative, helpful, assisted with luggage, and allowed a late check out. The place was so cute, clean, and comfortable. Would definitely stay again. Thank you !

This was perfect for our family of five. We loved having space to spread out, and the kitchen was perfect for making a couple of small meals. The White Star bar across the street was adorable, and perfect for eating in or ordering to-go. The only thing I would do differently is to fly into Newark rather than JFK—the uber ride to the airport took over an hour.

The room was just as described and looks like pictures posted. Was a lot more spacious than I thought it would be and has everything you might need. Not to far from the city

The house was beautiful and even nicer than the pictures. We loved the pool and the beach was right there. Tim was super responsive- especially around check in time. Would easily stay there again next time i am im the area !

Chingi was a very accommodating host and easy to communicate with. He had some rules that it seems like others struggled with but for our stay the rules were clear and fair

I just stayed here this past weekend for my wedding and it was amazing! The pictures truly don’t do the house justice. Everything was so clean and the host was super accommodating, helpful & responsive. The house was also packed with everything you could possibly need, in case you forget to bring anything. We're so happy to stay at Ying's place. It's way more beautiful and cozier than what the pictures show. Everything is new/remodeled and clean. It takes just a couple minutes to walk to the bus stop near the traffic light to NYC. Parking can be tricky but Ying's clear instructions make us at ease. Overall I'd highly recommend this place for family trip.
