Holiday houses in Umpqua

Excellent location, a few blocks from Old Town and the water (it's the Siuslaw River + tidal water I have been informed, but feels like the ocean). The house is solid, historic and charming. You do have to crank up the heat in a half dozen rooms and spaces to heat the house (decentralized, electric heating). The kid's bunkhouse is neat too - has a nice, big tv with blueray player, Netflix, etc. Not the case with my trip, but this is an ideal two family, on a budget, house trip with three bedrooms (2 queen, 1 twin) and kid's bunkhouse for four kids. Shout out to comfy furniture and bedding. Cape Perpetua Natural Scenic Area (USFS) in Yachats was spectacular. Seemed there were a dozen gorgeous beaches sprinkled along the way. The beach at Heceda Lighthouse is great too. Check the tides!!

Really enjoyed our stay. Randy was very responsive to our questions. Check in and check out times were flexible. we would come again.

Incredibly idyllic spot. I hope to return. Perfect for a little solo retreat. So quiet (aside from birds and frogs!) which is so hard to find these days.

Ron’s house was perfect for us. The home had enough room and space for all of us to feel comfortable. The kitchen was really nice with everything you need to whip up a good meal. The living room was perfect to hang out and watch movies and sports games. The upstairs foosball game and Pac-Man machine were fun to have. Ron was so kind and responsive he even brought us a pack of our favorite soda. Thank you Ron !

We loved our stay here. The attention to detail and use of space was perfect, and absolutely gorgeous. We sadly were only in town for 1 night, but wanted to stay longer! Peaceful river/farm setting, hot tub was great, spa-like rainfall shower was amazing, and we loved bird watching! The bed was also super comfortable, and the laundry was so convenient. The power went out in the morning and the hosts offered to let us stay later if we needed to. Honestly cant say enough good things! Thanks for having us, we cant wait to visit Oregon again!

Great private space and location! Unit is under the garage and separate from the main home. View from the deck is gorgeous and accommodations were perfect. Holly was very helpful when I locked my phone in the unit as well! Great host, great place. I will definitely stay again!
