Holiday houses in Ulmer

We took a little break after the holidays and wanted to be near some saltwater. We’re coming from Knoxville so it was a short drive and we just loved the house and the property! So peaceful and beautiful. Perfect space for our little family of 3 and we loved the area. We spent both full days at Hunting Island state park and when we were home, we were playing in the yard or down at the dock. Nighttime by the water is so quiet and there were so many stars! It was just what we were looking for! Our son even caught a big ole sting ray!

The house is very charming. We really enjoyed our stay. It feels very secluded, but amenities of various types are nearby, 5-20 minutes depending upon what you're looking for. We were there for work and didn't have much time to explore around the property but the pond was a very peaceful spot to relax with a book and some coffee. Inside the house had a vacation feel to it with a sense of warmth and coziness. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Guy’s Cottage served as the perfect place for my weekend sabbatical. Upon arriving, I was greeted by the crackling fireplace on the tv, a cottage that was extremely clean, smelled really good, and had goodies for me to snack on. Guy was very responsive and extremely helpful. I left my van lights on and he reached out to me to let me know. I was a little nervous about staying at Guy’s Cottage since I was traveling by myself. My worries immediately left once I arrived. The cottage is located in a well-appointed neighborhood that appeared to be very safe. Finally, Guy’s Cottage has become my number one place to stay when visiting Beaufort. I highly recommend you staying here and you will be happy that you did.

Let's just say that if you want to get away from the world, this place is perfect!!! In the woods, quiet, total hunting cabin vibe. Comfy bed, nice bathroom. Everything you need to get away for the weekend or a week. Not too far from town and some decent restaurants. Highly recommend, will be staying here next time I'm in SC.

This place was the last stop on a 10 day road trip. We booked it as the unwind portion of the trip. It exceeded all our expectations. Ashley and her farm hand sher are absolutely amazing! Ashley is so kind and goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. We loved sitting and chatting over a glass of wine in front of the fire, it was like we had found lifelong friends! We will surely be back, this was the perfect end to our vacation I love how God puts the right people at the right time in our path when we need them. Thank you Ashley for everything. It’s not goodbye, it’s until next time!!! 🥰❤️

Sherri’s place is incredibly clean, easy to find and very comfortable. I felt very much at home and safe. The surroundings are peaceful and the location is perfect. Sherri is a wonderful host!

Esters place was a perfect getaway. We only stayed one night passing thru but it was lovely. Super clean great use of the space and was decorated in my style!! Ester was always very responsive. Definitely would stay aging if I'm in the area.

The PERFECT spot on the way from Florida to NC to take an over night break. It was so secluded and beautiful, and the STARS?!! Wow!
