Family-friendly holiday rentals in Twenterand

Very nice stay in a quiet area. The kitchen was well equipped and for an agreed additional payment we could use the hot tub next to the cottage. Communication with the host was good and his instructions were extensive and clear.

A wonderful place, with a lot of privacy, in a beautiful environment. The cottage is very fully furnished. Also ideal if you have a dog, due to the fully enclosed garden. A car or bike is useful because shops are a couple of miles away. Nearby you can go hiking (e.g. at the Meeuwenplas) in particularly beautiful nature. Stephan is a friendly and welcoming host. All in all, it definitely makes a place you want to go back to.

We (4 people) had a lovely stay in the fantastically cozy farmhouse. Aljanneke welcomed us most friendly and welcoming. After a short reception and a few homely instructions, the entire farm was completely at our disposal. And we enjoyed the peace, the house, each other, the surroundings, the welcome gift (apple juice, jam and special beers) and all the tips from Aljanneke. We have already booked another weekend in 2025 and will stick an extra day to it this time. We're already very much looking forward to that! In one word, fantastic!

Very nice little wooden house in nature. Perfect for unplugging. Especially great are the animals on the farm & the hot tub. Great area for a stroll. If you want a bigger trip, Amsterdam can be reached in an hour by car. We felt very comfortable:-)

Fareen's place is truly a gem that you can be lucky to come across. The cabin is located in a park, with multiple other cabins in the area, but still very private and secluded. The view and calmness of the area, combined with the crackling music of the vinyl player (with the enormous vinyl collection) and the warmth of the fire place in the middle of the room, make Fareen's place unique. We will definitely be returning in the future!!

Super friendly reception! Upon arrival we received a small tour and the sauna and jacuzzi were on, so we could get in right away! You have a building with bedroom, bathroom and kitchen (with all the necessities) and the other building is the living room with TV, fireplace where you can sit very comfortably. Everything is thoughtful and it's completely private. Joop and Thea are very helpful and quick to respond. We had a great weekend and wanted to stay longer. Will definitely be back!

We had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly as described – clean, cozy, and stocked with everything we needed. We particularly liked the quiet location and the many small touches. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful. Even before arrival, communication was smooth, and during our stay, she responded quickly to any question. The location was ideal – very quiet. We felt completely comfortable and would recommend the accommodation without hesitation. Thank you for the great hospitality!

Good communication and friendly staff, they sent me a video on how to find the home. Check in was easy. Place was clean and as expected. Has all the basics to cook and serve a meal for four. Comfy double bed with good duvet. 20 minutes cycle from nearest supermarket, nice quiet and safe place. Heating is gas stove in the lounge rather than a central heating system for whole property.

Unique! Fantastic unobstructed views with lots of privacy. The cottage is comfortable, nice and luxurious. Nice architecture from the area, particularly nicely detailed. We had a nice weekend together with our three adult children. Nearby nice villages, meadow, forests , the Sahara (!), the Holterberg and the Salland ridge. Contact with Jolande was also fine. In short, recommended!

This is our second time here and we are already considering our next visit. Lovely place out in the beautiful and quiet Dutch countryside. Erie and Marnix are very friendly and responsive and we felt right at home. The eggs and the meat that we bought were top class. Many thanks for everything!

We stayed with 7 friends in this house. Everything was well arranged. There were some treats waiting for us on arrival. Karin is a friendly host and provides a very clean house with everything you need. The house has large garden. Highly recommend!

Cannot say enough great things about this place. If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle and relax for a bit, this is the place to do it. We brought our 3 young kids here and they had such a great time. The kids were able to really participate in working on the farm. The owners of this place were the nicest people. The earth houses were very nice and modern despite being on a farm. Will definitely be going back soon!!

Stayed for 4 weeks at this very peaceful home. We came from Canada to visit my mom, who lives in the area. The home is located in a very private setting, there are lots of birds and you can walk out of the home right on the walking trail through the forest. There are many nice walking routes and bike paths in the area. The home has flyers of things to do in the area, as well as some board games. The TV has a DVD player and there are several DVDs to choose from. The WiFi is fast and reliable. The washer and dryer were great, especially as we stayed for a long time. The kitchen has everything you need and the (electric) beds were super comfortable. The bathroom has a bathtub and separate shower, lots of towels are provided. We truly had a great stay !

What a peaceful, relaxing place! Very private, spacious and super clean. The hosts were very responsive. And the saunas are fantastic!! Easy 5 min bike ride into the beautiful town and to the supermarket. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

B&B de Heidehoeve was a great place to stay for a long weekend. Unfortunately, our whole family got sick (flu) and we were able to enjoy it less than we hoped. It's really an amazing place! Horses, sheep, rabbits, a nice playground for the kids. We'd love to come back.

This is the second time I have stayed in Mara's forest cottage and it was very nice again! Would recommend this to absolutely anyone. Within walking distance you can walk through beautiful nature to relax and the cottage is very cozy with nice lights, a record player, books and games. Mara is very easy to communicate with and the cottage was very very clean. We felt completely at home!

We had a lovely time staying at Berrie and Brenda's cottage. Spacious and cozy cottage with a nice garden. Everything was in stock and Berrie and Brenda communicate thoughtfully and proactively. We'd love to come back.

We stayed during winter time and enjoyed Arenda‘s and Klaas‘ cozy place very much! The big main room was perfect for our group of 8 people to spend time together, do some cooking etc. The hosts were super friendly at all times caring about our wellbeing! We even had the chance to see Klaas feeding the Alpacas 😁 Overall, we can highly recommend the cottage!

Nice place and enough space to stay comfortably with the six of you! 20 minutes walk to the Veluwe, and fifteen minutes to the shops in Otterlo. It is located on the outskirts of a quiet park with bungalows and cottages. Just a bit inconvenient that there are no linens and tea towels/towels. For the rest, definitely recommended!

Very nice and cute little house with a beautiful garden that really gives the feeling that you are in the woods. Very nice forests in the surrounding area too and it was very easy to walk directly into the woods from the house. Perfect for a peaceful and relaxing vacation :)

Vacation week with a 15-month-old daughter. The house is inside a campsite but everything is perfectly isolated and feels like it's in the middle of nowhere. The fact that it is inside a campsite was very useful because you had access to the camping services and because you could walk around very quietly. Due to bad weather, we could not take advantage of the pool, but it was very attractive. There is also a bathtub for the little ones.
