Holiday houses in Tumacacori-Carmen

The fact this was quite a renowned observatory shows - beautiful sunsets that turn into amazing nights under the stars. Bring firewood! There are about two or three steep hills on the way from I19, we had to reverse down one and take again with some momentum, but our crossover has very low horsepower. We should have come via Patagonia which is much easier. The right vehicle will do just fine even if coming from I19. I can’t say enough how much I love this place. The house and property are very well taken care of and we did our best to maintain that so that others know it’s a special place. Something about it felt like home and we truly hope to come back for years to come, it’s the perfect escape from reality. The views are a slice of heaven.

This was our second year staying at George’s place - and we’re planning to return next year! We love the location and all of the interesting personal items George has throughout. The enclosed patio with a fountain is so pleasant and peaceful. George is easy to reach and interesting to talk with!

Great stay! Needed some spices for cooking, but other than that great place. Spacious so everyone had their own room. Spare room beds were not the most comfy, but overall would come again. Very peaceful and a beautiful view.

My friends and I had a great time! Don and Kisha were very communicative and the home was a perfect location near the resort and golf course! Home had everything we needed and was very comfortable!

Our stay at Rebeca's place was great. We were on a quick weekend trip for a wedding and Rebeca's place was the perfect location. It was warm and homey with lots of little touches that made us feel welcome. Rebeca knows the area well and had a great recommendation for a quick lunch during our busy wedding activities. Great location in Patagonia within walking distance to downtown and in a generally quiet neighborhood. The air-conditioning worked great and the house seemed very well insulated. The house is stocked for the most part with what guests need. There are also two groceries stores within walking distance for anything extra needed. Overall, the accommodations were great and I would stay here again.

Julie and Juan were gracious hosts for our 2-month stay in Green Valley. The townhouse is beautifully decorated and exactly as described. Everything was immaculately clean, and the kitchen had everything needed for preparing meals and baking. The neighbors were friendly, and the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed walking our dog and observing all the winter birds. We highly recommend their townhouse in Green Valley.

Karen’s guest house was perfect for my trip to southern Arizona. I used it as a base camp for daily excursions in all directions. It’s quiet, easy to get to, far from traffic , yet the interstate and the IGA grocery are a short 10 min drive away.

Beautiful big place to stay. Easy drive North or South to good restaurants and things to do. Nice neighbors and amazing birds.
