Holiday rentals with a pool in Tulum Municipality

Lovely place away from the noise of the hotel area. Make sure you have a good car as the surrounding streets are not well maintained. Great host.

We spent a wonderful stay in Casa flamingo. La Veleta is a very nice,peaceful and secure neighborhood. You are not so far from beach if you have a car or with bike. You can feel the Tulum pueblo vibes which are really most interesting than the « Hostalera zona » vibes. Clemence was waiting for us when we arrived and give us good advice to enjoy the Tulum’s life. She was always very reactive when we had questions. The house is great and we enjoy to spend time by the pool. At night there are bars and restaurants close to the house. We found also a good bakery for the breakfast (very important for french people :-). Everything was perfect. We highly recommend Casa flamingo. If we come back we already know where to go!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Veronica's Airbnb! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. Veronica went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and made us feel truly welcome. Communication was smooth and prompt, which made the entire experience stress-free. We would definitely recommend this stay to others and look forward to coming back in the future!

We loved the place, host was great. Beautiful pool and yard. No issues with other guests. The kitchen could maybe use some newer utensils and more dishes, pots and pan's. But overall great experience, would recommend this place to anyone that has their own vehicle.

This was a great home base for my girl's trip to Tulum! We spent a Wednesday through Sunday at Rocio & Mirko's, and the house was perfect. La Veleta is filled with great restaurants, and we took advantage of the concierge service for our first night's dinner after a long travel day; that was 100% the right answer (the chef made us a fantastic meal, and we had a chance to unwind from our flight/drive). I recommend staying at Rocio & Mirko's place. Mirko personally greeted us, recommended beach clubs and restaurants, and was available to answer any questions we may have had. We felt safe and at home in this lovely house and neighborhood.

We had a great stay here. Lesley was extremely helpful, as was the cleaning and maintenance staff. This is a great location if you’d like to be closer to town, but perhaps less so if you want to be super close to the beach (it’s not far, just know it’s not really walkable). Right around the corner is Palma Central which is a great place to go dancing! Plenty of parking options here as well.

Great place! Totally recommended! It was our little oasis in Tulum. You do need a car ideally, but we also rented bikes. It is a safe gated community, which is reassuring, Tulum being Tulum;) Lots of great design details and well equipped house. There is no sun on the garden/pool though, which is probably by design as there is lots of sun outside of your accommodation;) lovely beds as well, slept off our jetlag pretty well.

The place is really great and worth the price! Be aware, you should rent motorbike or VUS. The place is really far from the city, and the taxi are expansives.

The host was very response and kind. The place is clean. We used the bicycles to get around town. Walking is doable but it’s a bit of a hike to the town center (so can/taxi is recommended ) the staff there is great at getting rides. The personal tub was not warm but it was great after a hot day- the outside hammocks were great to chill. I recommend stopping at the store to get water, paper towels, body wash, and snacks. The street tacos were the best food ! Felt safe at the hotel with security and walking.

Nāmas is a piece of heaven in Tulum. The place is absolutely beautiful, clean, safe, & super welcoming. The host is super responsive & organized. The location is fantastic, close to everywhere we wanted to go. We had a very comfortable & pleasant stay at Nāmas! Only small downside is the roads in La Veleta aren’t great, lots of potholes & water pooled on the roads. If you are renting a car, keep that in mind!

We had a great stay! The pictures are accurate and you get exactly what they show - beautiful! We enjoyed the private pool, the rooftop pool and great water pressure in the shower. From what we could see, this Airbnb was the nicest one on the property as it had the nice private pool. The team was always so responsive and helped us organize scooter rentals and transportation back to Playa Del Carmen afterwards. Can’t say enough good things!

Our stay here was really lovely. Place was as described - clean, aesthetic, and cozy. Very comfy bed, something I find important at an Airbnb. The pools were a great place to relax and the condo was a in a good location - was able to walk and bike to various places. A few recommendations I’d make would be to have more glassware available - quite minimal. And while the condo has a moody, boho vibe, the kitchen was a bit dark to cook in. Ended up having to ask quite a few questions throughout the week so posted instructions on garbage/appliances would be helpful. Overall, a great stay and would return.

Tarik's place has everything you need for a group of 4-6 people. This place is well-located, a great pool, comfortable and quiet. The whole neighborhood is beautiful with lots of shade and trees all around. You have a 7/11 really close by, a pharmacy, a few restaurants for a quick snack, and less than 5 minutes (by car) to the main avenue, and less than 10 minutes (again, by car) to the beach and Tulum ruins. You are about that much away from many great restaurants and bars. The town is amidst a big development and there are lots of areas with construction and noise during the day, but it didn't bother us. Also, pro tip, there is a sweet Yucatecan lady that is across the street from the house. in the morning. She sells delicious salbutes, panuchos and empanadas, all Yucatecan cuisine, freshly made, for 20 pesos each (1 dollar). Highly recommended for a snack or a good breakfast. You really can't beat that since a lot of the food here is a little to a lot expensive.

If you are travelers that want to immerse yourself in the Mexican culture then this is the home for you. Everything is walkable. You are in the heart of Tulum. So many restaurants and bars around the corner. The house was beautiful, clean and the walls surrounding it were electric. The private pool was an added bonus. Our family felt very safe at the home and in the neighborhood. There is no public beach access, so we bought day passes at the Bahia Pricipe, all inclusive resort, which allowed you to use the facilities and all you can eat buffet. (You will need a car ) Larissa was amazing. She was available 24/7 and super helpful with all our needs. If you like to sit by the beach, relax in peace, and be catered to, this house is not for you. If you enjoy culture, experiences and chatting it up with the locals, it’s perfect!

I’ve stayed in around a hundred Airbnbs, and this is truly my favorite one yet. We stayed for about 9 days in July, and loved every minute of our time in the home. There are windows absolutely everywhere, so the home is bright and sunny and the beautiful garden and flowers surrounding the pool are on full display. I loved how we could see the pool from the bedroom, kitchen, dining room, and living room, allowing us to keep an eye on the kids. The daily cleaning was the most incredible benefit. Every day while we were out, our beds were made, floors cleaned, everything. It felt so luxe. Also, the kid’s room being up the spiral stairs was so fun - like a castle tower. The home had everything we needed, was absurdly close (6 min?) to Xel-Ha - our favorite activity, and only 15/20 minutes from Tulum, Zacil-Ha Cenote and Cenote Calavera, which our kids loved. Very close to Xpu-Ha beach, too. The neighborhood felt very safe and after driving through other areas, we were glad we chose Akumal!

Booking Oscar's villa was key to an amazing bachelorette weekend! Before we even arrived in Tulum, Oscar was proactive, making sure we had transportation arrangements to and from the airport and throughout our visit. When we arrived, Oscar and his staff made sure we had all the instructions and everything we needed for our stay. He checked in a couple times and when we needed something like extra dishwasher soap, he made sure that housekeeping brought some later that day. This was one of the cleanest Airbnb's I've ever been at! The pool and Jacuzzi were in perfect condition and we enjoyed them every single day of our trip. We had zero issues with electricity or hot water. Beds were clean, huge, and very comfortable. Area quiet and tranquil. Finally, booking the private chef through Oscar was seamless, and we had an incredible meal waiting for us when we came back from the beach. The service is unmatched, you won't regret staying at this house!!

I had an incredible month-long stay at this Airbnb in Tulum’s La Veleta neighborhood. The area is filled with amazing restaurants, all within walking distance. I loved that I could explore the neighborhood entirely on foot—it's very safe and walk-friendly. The experience was everything I hoped for, and I’m already looking forward to coming back soon!

Amazing stay! The apartment is super large and very beautiful, looks like the photos and super well-equipped especially in terms of the kitchen and bathroom: there is everything you need (cleaning products salt pepper spices etc.) we loved our stay!

Such a beautiful villa- a lot of time and effort has gone into the interior design giving it a luxurious feel. Well equipped, comfortable beds, very clean and gorgeous garden (although doesn’t get much sun, which is great if you like the shade). Would recommend

I had a great experience with this host! The villa was absolutely beautiful, clean, and well-equipped with everything you need to feel at home. Even when there was a power outage affecting the entire block, the host acted quickly by sending help to resolve the issue right away. She was incredibly responsive, helpful, and knowledgeable about anything I needed during my stay. I highly recommend this villa for its comfort, cleanliness, and exceptional hosting!

Lupita’s place was clean, well stocked and she is a responsive and proactive host. Everything was as listed plus she provided extra touches like drinking water for the week and a welcome gift. We appreciated the local restaurant and activity recommendations as well. I highly recommend this home. One note is that the area is newer and the roads all around are unpaved and are quite rough and hard to navigate. Google maps and a suv or similar vehicle are a must.
