Family-friendly holiday rentals in Tsumagoi, Agatsuma District

There is a large hall, multiple toilets, and a slightly larger bathroom and shower room, perfect for large groups.It was also great to have a nice coffee shop and other restaurants and hot springs where you can see the sea of clouds in the early morning, such as Migahara and Takabuchi.It is also nice to see the stars very beautiful at night.However, if you are thinking of a BBQ, it would be better for you to be careful that there is no roof and that you use gas, and that there is a separate fee.The kitchen is simple and not suitable for large groups, but it was a bar counter and had a very nice atmosphere.There was also a barrel sauna outside that was free to use.Overall, I think it was a nice place to stay with a very strong edge on the facilities and location.We'd love to stay again if we get the chance.

The room was clean and easy to spend time with, and the view from the large window was excellent.

100% would recommend and stay with Masaya again. The Apartment is inside Hotel Cultured in the Echoland area of Hakuba, and right outside of it's front door is the bus stop to access any shuttle services for getting to/from the ski resorts. The location is incredibly convenient and the apartment itself is very nice. It was big enough to fit 4 large westerners for 6 days, and was very clean when we arrived. Masaya responded to any and every question that we had prior to or during the trip; and the front desk staff was incredibly friendly. They picked us up from the Happo Bus terminal and made any dinner reservations that we asked for help with. Ski storage lockers were clean and felt secure enough. All in all: the stay, snow, skiing and hospitality for our Hakuba trip was a 10 outta 10.

My family of four stayed for one night and two days. Thank you for your prompt response to the change in the number of guests in advance. We had a pleasant time in a clean room.

Beautiful chalet - it was snowing while we were there, and it was everything we could have wanted from our stay: picturesque, comfortable, and convenient. Jason & Fumiko were very helpful and responsive for our whole stay; the chalet was equipped with everything that we needed to cook and handle our 18 month old comfortably. We definitely look forward to staying again soon!

There are many hills around, and it freezes in the winter, so it is better to have not only studless tires, but also chains.

I stayed for two nights and three days during the holidays. The manager was very responsive, the air conditioning was faulty, and when I called, they came right away and even put it in. We used it for 16 people, and everyone was satisfied. We enjoyed a meaningful time, young and old, and even pets. The supermarket was also about a 10-minute drive away, and it was well stocked and I had no trouble eating. It was the holidays, and the nearby shops and leisure were closed, so I was a little disappointed, but I want to use it this time in the summer. * Studless is required in winter

Had an amazing stay at Pete & Hiroko's place. We truly appreciated all the extra amenities provided without any hidden charges, unlike many other hosts these days. We'll definitely be back!

The Powder Peak Pad was perfect for our group, who traveled from various parts of the United States to explore the Hakuba Valley and its infamous Japow! The location was ideal—each evening, we could easily walk from our accommodations to Echoland, where we enjoyed a wide variety of excellent food. What truly set this stay apart was our exceptional host, Greg. He was incredibly helpful, answering our questions, assisting with logistics, and even picking us up while providing clear communication before our arrival and departure. We had an amazing experience and will definitely be back!

Amazing stay! Best location available in Hakuba. kids could play on the street in the snow. Walking distance to many beautiful restaurant. Beautiful home with very comfortable beds, pillows and blankets, wifi, Netflix etc Kitchen was clean and had good cooking facilities. Host very kind and welcoming and helpful beyond what would be expected of an Airbnb host. Recommendations to restaurants, hire places and ski resorts etc.

We really had a great time at kaoru’s place. And host are very friendly. If you looking for a place with real japanese vibe, look no further, this is the best palce. We looking forward to go there again soon!

We enjoyed our stay. The house was as described, while compact is was slightly larger than I had envisaged. Definitely well located in Echoland. Desmond and his team provided complimentary transfers too and from Hakuba Station which was greatly appreciated. From my research Hannas house provide good value for money. I would recommend Hannas house with a few caveats, the stairs to the second level are very steep so maybe not great for very young children or if you are less mobile. We were lucky to have significant snow falls which meant that quite a bit of shovelling was required to keep the entry clear and the driveway accessible if you are considering hiring a car.

Darren was an excellent host and offered shuttle services for guests to grab essentials in the town centre. Restaurant and ski recommendations were also perfect, and very fast response times. Thanks Darren

We loved our stay at Daniel’s apartment in Iwatake! Everything was as described & pictured. Pick up and drop off to station great - as was the food shop at the start. All staff friendly. The drying room was very good and something we didn’t even know was a MUST! The new Gondala was very nice and the view from the top of the mountain was stunning. The ski lift near the apt did not open when we were there even tho there was so much snow which was disappointing. Daniel always responded to questions friendly and quickly and I would recommend these apartments for skiing families. Beds and amenities were great - the washer and dryer also handy. The apts are quite a distance away from most things in Hakuba (good and bad)- it cost me $50aud round trip to go to the shops (10 mins) to get some good and there really is not many restaurants or food close by and the cheap taxi would not collect from the apts. Some other guests were noisy and could be heard through walls. Would love to come back

WOW – A perfect place to stay! I want to give 6 stars out of 5. Great location – short 5 min walk to restaurants and bars. The grocery store is an easy 10 min walk (other direction). The resort buses pick up at the end of the driveway. Our unit was great; clean, comfortable, well lit, and nicely appointed. We had 6 adults and it was an easy fit, 8 would have been fine. The beds were comfortable and the entire place was quiet too. The separate room downstairs for boots and outerwear was heated every night and morning; everything was completely dry before we put it on the next day even after a full day in deep powder. Boots being very warm was really important for those with race boots which would be extremely difficult to put on if not warm enough – no problem here!!! Karen and Greg are fabulous hosts – super helpful and accommodating plus they have great info – almost like resident tour guides. They helped with transportation, gear rentals, restaurants, and resorts. We will be back!!!!

The place was great. Kazuhiro san even picked me up from the train station and took me to the ski bus daily, which is really an exceptional service. He was always super nice and helpful. The property has everything you need and offers a traditional Japanese living experience.

The place was exactly as it was shown and it was beautiful and comfortable. Took awhile to get up the stairs to the house but it was worth it. We had a little trouble with the IH while cooking, but the host was very responsive and helpful. Problem solved immediately. Overall it was a great experience and we loved the indoor Onsen very very much!

Midori san is a fantastic host! We stayed at her place during our drive through Nagano, heading back to Kanagawa. Midori san was very welcoming the moment we pulled into the parking. Our daughter really enjoyed their company and had fun conversing in Japanese. We were even helped with where to purchase firewood and how to light the fire stove. We stayed warm through the night and were very comfortable the entire time. This place is beautiful, quiet, clean, and cozy. We will surely visit again in the future!

Yoshimichi san is very kind and made our stay very easy. The place is very clean and has everything you need, they have a hot and cold air conditioner in the room, but in winter (we stayed in February) you might feel very cold in the kitchen, toilet and shower room.

Fantastic house with plenty of room and lovely facilities, was stones throw from Main Street with nightlife and restaurants. Phillip was great host who went well out of his way to assist our group in checking in, local knowledge and recommendations, and helping in pick up drop off around town. Would definitely choose this house for a trip back to Hakuba. Thanks a lot Phil!
