Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Truckee River

We stayed at Katherine’s for a night en route from Oregon to Bishop. It was a cozy spot for the night in a good location-a close drive to a few of our favorite spots in Reno-the Patagonia Outlet and Food Coop. We were grateful to bring our dog and for the fenced yard. As well as for a high chair for our little guy. Katherine had great communication which made for an easeful stay. Thank you!

Shaleen's place was the getaway we needed. I celebrated my 30th birthday there! it'll be memorable. The space is clean and as described. very spacious! highly recommend it.

Nico & Elizabeth saved my family’s Thanksgiving…literally!!! We had booked another place for our family in JULY. The morning of our first night’s stay, the other host cancelled with no explanation whatsoever. It literally took 10 hours to rebook another house close to our destination through Airbnb. Nico was so responsive & great to us, & their house was just perfect…super cozy but spacious, very clean & the location was wonderful!!! I cannot thank Nico enough for his quick responsiveness, generousity & for making what could have turned out to be a frustrating, terrible Thanksgiving holiday into a great family weekend & reunuion!! My brothers thank you as well!!!!

We had a great short stay here! It was perfect for our family of four. The couch was big enough for a family movie night and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. As mentioned by another guest, the floors get a little chilly so we brought some slippers which was perfect. Overall, we’d happily come back!

We enjoyed the little nest. Best part was its location. So close to everything and easily walkable. Clean & tidy…had all the amenities. Would highly recommend!

A very nice older home in a quiet neighborhood. It was exactly what we needed for our few days in Reno. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dog, but just be mindful if there are other tenants in the back units they will be right next to you and therefore no privacy if you’re in the backyard. But I give it a great rating as it served our needs perfectly. The host Jo is extremely responsive and accommodating and we were able to check in early

I really enjoyed my one-night stay at Anastasia's, and I would happily stay there again! The apartment is above their garage, so you do have to walk through a yard space shared with the host's home, but once inside, the apartment felt very private and cozy. Easy to get inside, and Anastasia gave clear instructions for checking in. I would note that the stairs are pretty steep, so this might not be the best choice if you have a lot of heavy luggage or mobility issues. However, it was fine for me this stay. The place was very clean, had some nice modern touches (Nest thermostat, charging station, cool bedside lamp), and felt very comfortable. I got a great night's sleep and found the bed very comfortable as well. The place is in a beautiful neighborhood of Reno and very close to Midtown and cool restaurants, bars, etc. Also, I had a family emergency and had to shorten my stay last-minute. I really appreciated how responsive and communicative Anastasia was. Thanks for a great experience

i loved staying here! the kitchen had everything i could need, and the space was beautiful and tidy. it was a great bang for my buck! Carol was timely with her responses when we needed help! the upstairs is also an airbnb, we heard them sometimes but it was not terrible! :)

If you want to be close to everything this is the place Everything in the place really looks brand new from the counter tops to the flooring, Very modernly decorated and simple. Very clean and had everything you needed. Has a washer and dryer in the unit. Really I felt like I was more in a one bedroom house than an apartment. Did hear some noise from the next door neighbor but nothing real extreme very mild. I would definitely recommend this place And I definitely stay here again.

Definitely a great place to stay! Considering the price compared to resorts nearby, this place has more bang for your buck and it’s located in a nice neighborhood too so it adds to the cozy feel of the place!

Her place was the perfect place! It's far enough from the casinos and yet drivable to where it doesn't feel like forever to get there.

Always a good place to stay in the area

Great location. Close to grocery stores, restaurants and walkable to the lake. The condo is spacious and clean and the gas fireplace made evenings relaxing and cozy. Peaceful park near the Hyatt to walk. Quick communication with the owner..Definitely would stay again.

Beautifully renovated and clean place- Dolores is very professional and provided us with everything we needed and more. We were warm and cozy during our stay and we appreciated the garage parking and front desk staff

Homely place close to Northstar! The shuttle was very convenient to get us to and from the village! Bed was comfy

We really enjoyed out stay at this condo! It was clean and even better than the pictures. The location was incredibly convenient- being able to take the village run trail directly into the condo trail in gear without needing additional transportation was a huge plus. In the morning, we oculd simply walk to the trail and ski down to catch the lift. At night, if you want to catch the shuttle after a drink, you can take a short shuttle ride at Post 4 to Coyote Fork. We've been coming to Northstar Resort for the past 15 yrs, and this was our first time staying in a ski-in/ski-out condo. It made a big difference, and we'll definitely be looking for similar accommodations in the future. We would absolutely stay at Srdjan's condo again!

Excellent location closer than the parking lot to the ski resort, very soothing view of the skiers coming down the mountain. Well equipped kitchen and very responsive host. Very nice to have the sleds for the kids to use too! Would love to come again
