Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Truckee River

An incredible stay for me and my husband plus our two pups. It’s private and peaceful and was a great space for our pups to run around. Pamela is a great communicator and responsive. The house has majority of the cooking essentials you’ll need. It was a great place to stay!

The house was very comfortable and great for your trip. Loved the floor plan of the upstairs.. the master bedroom was amazing and that closet was huge great to put away the luggage and have the bedroom be clutter free

Nico & Elizabeth saved my family’s Thanksgiving…literally!!! We had booked another place for our family in JULY. The morning of our first night’s stay, the other host cancelled with no explanation whatsoever. It literally took 10 hours to rebook another house close to our destination through Airbnb. Nico was so responsive & great to us, & their house was just perfect…super cozy but spacious, very clean & the location was wonderful!!! I cannot thank Nico enough for his quick responsiveness, generousity & for making what could have turned out to be a frustrating, terrible Thanksgiving holiday into a great family weekend & reunuion!! My brothers thank you as well!!!!

Penny was very flexible. She allowed us to leave some of our luggage and belonging before check in time so our vehicle wouldn’t be so crowded. The place was perfect for my family. My kids enjoyed the game area, the kitchen has all the utensils and cookware we needed. Definitely recommend this place.

Lovely home with everything we needed. Lots of sweet touches - handmade soaps, fabulous blankets for cuddling on the couch, convenient firewood, incredible midcentury modern furniture (the couch!!!!), Great Wall art throughout. This place has personality, and you can tell it’s cherished.

A very nice older home in a quiet neighborhood. It was exactly what we needed for our few days in Reno. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dog, but just be mindful if there are other tenants in the back units they will be right next to you and therefore no privacy if you’re in the backyard. But I give it a great rating as it served our needs perfectly. The host Jo is extremely responsive and accommodating and we were able to check in early

My friends and I loved staying at Samantha’s place. I’ve stayed at many airbnbs and this one was the best stocked, most accurately described, and had the coziest vibes.

One of the best Airbnb places I've stayed. Doris was very responsive to anything I needed and she and her husband were both very friendly and helpful. This property sets next to a field with horses and beautiful woodlands and green meadows. Very quiet & private, but very close to major urban areas with entertainment and restaurants. I went to this little oasis for a personal yoga and meditation retreat I put together. It was perfect. The generosity of the hosts in stocking the refrigerator and kitchen with special food & drink items was above and beyond. I felt pampered. I will return for sure.

Loved the Cozy Casita! Great location. Quiet and private. Carol was the perfect host and gave us great suggestions for dining and sight seeing. We really enjoyed our trip to Reno!

I absolutely loved Robert’s place. The apartment was so nice and the bed was very comfortable. Robert communicated very well on all aspects of our reservation. This Airbnb has a great location in South Lake Tahoe. 5 min driving to Heavenly Ski Resort, 1 min driving to Whole Foods, 1 min driving to laundry, 5 min driving to Heavenly Village. Nice 15 min walk to the Marina. It had everything we needed and great backyard. April was nice, helpful and flexible. We had a great stay! 🍀✨

I stayed in the Tahoe unit here for several days and it was a very pleasant. Cozy and close to downtown and also very clean and spacious. It was the perfect Reno retreat for me.

I booked this Airbnb for my parents and aunts, and they absolutely loved their stay! The location was perfect-close to everything they needed. The amenities were fabulous and made their stay really comfortable and enjoyable. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, which gave me peace of mind knowing they were well taken care of. I’m so glad I chose this place and would definitely book again highly recommend.

Shirley's place was perfect for our little family. In a great location with all the amenities, it has everything you need - especially when travelling with a toddler. We had the best vacation here and would stay again. We would recommend this to all families and friends!

Noelle's condo was perfect for our ski weekend. I absolutely loved the view from the patio, and it was almost as good as ski in/ski out access to Palisades Tahoe. Noelle sent an extremely detailed and thorough welcome email, which I really appreciated. We cooked most of our meals at the condo and even though the kitchen is small it was very well equipped. There is ton's of storage at Noelle's place and the bed in the bedroom was extremely comfortable. The wifi was a little spotty, but it didn't really cause us any problems. The only thing that was annoying was having to get up early for the plow on the mornings after it had snowed more than 4". The plow goes through the parking lot, so you have to move your car for it. We were there for almost a week and had to do this 2 or 3 mornings, and it's just not the kind of thing you really want to do on vacation, but it was really nice to always have a plowed parking lot, so I guess it evens out. Wonderful stay!

Great place within walking distance of food and things to do

We enjoyed our stay! the place was easy to find and check in was easy. The house was clean and close to many attractions. Would definitely come back again!

Mihai’s condo was cozy, comfortable, and very clean! He was very responsive and communicative. IYKYK *Washer/dryer *Comfortable beds/bedrooms *Location - very close to stores and restaurants in the heart of Incline Village Cons Nothing I would definitely stay there again.

My friends and I had awesome ski weekend at Northstar. We had two little kids and they LOVED the place with books and games in the two single bed room. Location is awesome, so close to the village. A loft above the kitchen definitely brings out an inner kid of myself. Place was clean, full stock of appliances and dishes. One of the best places I stayed! Willing to stay again.

Cory's cute condo is at a perfect location. It is ideal for a family who are looking for proximity to snow activities as well as beautiful nature. You can literally crawl to the skiing slopes. Our kids enjoyed the bunk bed, games and the balcony overlooking skiing slopes. We definitely would love to visit again.

Hands down the best vacation we had in Northstar ever. Can’t beat the location and condo has everything you need to feel like home.
