What an authentic and welcoming stay I had at Roy’s! A warm and clean house, a confortable room, a delicious breakfast and most importantly the kindest host! On top of that, the surroundings are incredible. I highly recommend !!

I spent the night here on my way down from Narvik to Lofoten, and on the way back. It was a fun place, a mix of Airbnb and hostel where it’s easy to meet people. There is a sauna and a outside jacuzzi that you can use, very nice after travelling. There are a lot of places in the « castle » to chill, the place is cosy and peaceful, and you have a nice breakfast before leaving. Ragnar is very warmful and welcoming, he’s the king of the castle! I recommend !

Ken was a particularly approachable and welcoming host. He was extremely available to share his culture and his country with me. He was very thoughtful of me, monitoring the weather forecast to spot the Northern Lights. He shared a local breakfast with me and even surprised me by cooking for my birthday! Thank you, Ken, for all these incredible experiences.

Excellent, my stay with Annelise was perfect, she is so helpful and friendly I felt just like home, for breakfast I could take anything from the frigo 😊 Just Top 👍

Sissel’s a friendly, kind-hearted, helpful and generous host. She gave us a lot of support during our stay in Tromsø. She helped us to explore the city and with her help, we were able to witness the beautiful aurora. We also hiked in the mountains, that was amazing to walk on the snow path. Her house is sooooo clean and I like the decorations very much. She’s got a lovely cat called Lion which is also friendly and lovely. Please choose her house in Tromsø, you’ll be deeply moved by her nice house and never regret.

By renting the little cabin, Marianne and George open the door to their little paradise. In their place you will feel love, real nature and one of the most beautiful landscape ever, even the drive to and from Tromso is breathtaking. For people seeking a true experience in nature this is the perfect place. The cabin is remote, a step back in time, no mod cons and this is it’s beauty. A cosy, warm little haven in the beautiful wild. It is well thought out - all the instructions given by Marianne and George, and noted around the cabin ensure your stay is seamless and answers all the questions you might have - it is important to listen to them, especially as you are in the middle of the wild, responsible for your own warmth and staying in someone’s home. You are stepping back in time, at one with nature. This is a magical place. Marianne and George are kind and welcoming people. In the middle of an area flooded with guides and tourists and impersonal experiences they are a true find. Passionate about nature and the aurora, experts in the region (Marianne is a local). If you’re looking for other experiences whilst staying in the area - they are the perfect people to ask (especially aurora hunting). Going to the cabin is a truly unique experience. We are leaving with stars in our eyes and will definitely return.

蘭姐的住所十分完美，什麼設備都有，浴室還有暖氣。環境十分衛生乾淨，我能夠住得十分舒服。她十分友善及樂於助人，還請我吃他自家製的可口甜品，很窩心地為我煮了一個麵。不像一般的民宿，蘭姐會主動跟你聊天，亦給你足夠的私人空間，你能在這裏與其他住客和蘭姐建立良好的關係。地點治安很好，即使女孩子自己去也十分安全。對華人來說，這裡就像一個五星級的家，令人樂而忘返。難怪這麼受歡迎，建議需要提前半年預訂，絕對物有所值 Lan’s house is perfect, where have everything you need. Lan is a friendly, helpful and nice person. She makes desserts to us, so delicious! It is very convenient from her house to McDonald and bus stops. It is safe for girls to live alone there. No need to worry about crimes. You can pay to Lan for making yummy Chinese meals, even better than Asian restaurants nearby.

We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended it by one night on the very first evening.

Cozy apartment, bus stop right next door, Viktor is super friendly, accommodating and helpful. It was really great to be picked up from the airport and already have something to eat and drink in the accommodation. Highly recommended.

Merete was a very kind and friendly host. The home was a perfect, quiet getaway for people looking for a peaceful stay and I recommend the place a lot! Thank you for a great stay Merete :)

Amazing flat at a great location! Close enough to the city centre to walk but also very beautiful and quiet surroundings. We really liked it and would definitely stay again. Anton was a great host, very attentive, responsive and helpful. His instructions to self check in were really clear and easy and has provided advice and recommendations throughout our trip. He also had kindly left us with all kinds of food and drinks, including coffee, a really nice bottle of wine, cheese etc. He also offered us a lift to the airport on the day we left, which was very helpful especially with the weather conditions on the day. We would defined recommend this place!

Aptly named “The View,” this is a delightful place with spectacular panoramic view overlooking Tromso city center, across the water, including the Arctic Cathedral, and up onto Tromsdalen. I could have sat staring out the windows for hours. We walked (two of us ran) the surrounding snow palace. We enjoyed trolls, the top of Tromsdalen, nearby islands, local cuisine, and exploring the city center and trails. Through it all, our hosts were wonderful - patiently and expertly helping with all manner of questions. A terrific, memorable travel experience. Will definitely seek out The View again when our travels bring us back to Tromso.

We spent a very nice stay at Kesarin's place. The breakfast is big and good enough to skip the lunch, and have dinner early at 6pm. We went ski touring during the day, had naps, dinner and chased northern lights away from Olderdalen and the lights of the town in the night. The room was perfect for us and Kesarin is the perfect host and cook.
