Cottage holiday rentals in Treflys

We came away for a couple of nights for a quiet recharge after Christmas. Debbie met us as we parked up and gave us a little walk around and some helpful tips for our stay. We were left with privacy but knew if there were any problems we'd easily be able to contact for help. Everything was clean and tidy and decorated beautifully for Christmas so it felt lovely and cosy. The bed was really soft and we had no trouble sleeping. We've never used a log burner hot tub before but it was easy enough and we had a relaxing evening enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Thank you 😊

Dawn was incredibly communicative and kind from the very start. I booked for my girlfriend's 30th birthday and everything was perfect. The attention to detail at the place was beautiful and it was amazing to hear of how it was Dawn's lockdown project, which she built herself. I had a special request to see if we could have some other family come for drinks one night after the birthday dinner and Dawn was very obliging, even giving us an extra table from her own home. Couldn't recommend Dawn's place enough - it's stunning and the hot tub was superb!

Check-in was easy and communication was helpful and friendly throughout, with great recommendations for local walks, sights and dog-friendly eateries. The house was welcoming, comfortable and clean, with a very well-provisioned kitchen and all amenities as stated. The hot tub was a massive plus for achy legs after all the local exploring. Beautiful area with lots on the go for all interests - we will definitely be back!

Our stay at this beautiful cottage in Wales was absolutely wonderful. The rolling hills, peaceful countryside, and fresh air made it the perfect escape from everyday life. The cottage itself was cosy, clean, and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights was the hot tub, where we could relax while soaking in the stunning, idyllic views—especially at sunset. It was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring the nearby beaches. If you’re looking for a tranquil retreat with picturesque surroundings, this cottage is the ideal choice.

Such a lovely place, Carolyn was quick to pop round make sure we was settled in showed us how to use the hot tub and was quick to reply to any questions I had. The place was amazing and I can’t complain at all, plenty of space for just two of us can’t recommend this place enough!

We were extremely satisfied with the stay, the quirky look that the cottage had stuck out on photos and it was even better in person! It was extremely clean and in a beautiful location, the crisp mornings made the stay more beautiful as the hot tub was available day and night! We met the host on our first day there very friendly with 2 cute little puppies running freely in the garden which greeted us as we headed back for a chilled afternoon! Will definitely return!

We stayed for two nights at this lovely cottage home. We absolutely loved the cottage and would definitely recommend if you were looking for a nice peaceful getaway close to the town. Of course the hot tub was probably the main standout feature, but everything was great about this place and we loved it that much we have already been looking to book again later this year. Little additional features like the underfloor heating are a perfect finish to a lovely cottage stay. Definitely recommend and the hosts are extremely helpful and responsive.

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful cottage. The place was nice and secluded, but also close enough to Aberaeron for local pubs and restaurants. The hot tub was a big plus for us, and overlooking the fields was very pleasant and private. Helen & Wyn were quick to respond to any queries we had, but also left us in privacy at the same time which was ideal. Great place to stay with lovely hosts.

Comfortable accommodation in a lovely rural setting. Close to Rhayader yet far enough away not to be disturbed by the busy town traffic. Karl is an excellent Airbnb host - friendly and helpful when needed. We are already thinking about when we can return. :-)

A fantastic cottage in the heart of beautiful Mumbles. Close to beaches cafes shops. And Joes ice cream! It’s modern yet homely and beautifully decorated. Can’t wait to return.

Beautiful house, a cosy Welsh cwtch with log burner, comfy beds, every thing you could possibly want, thoughtfully provided by Dan, our host, who couldn’t be any more helpful. Mumbles is a lovely quirky town, great shops, restaurants and pubs. I’ll be going back time and time again.

Mum needed somewhere to stay for a while as she was having work done on her house nearby and Stephen’s place was ideal for her. It’s so cosy and has everything you could need. There’s a pub close by and a shop. Stephen and his partner went out of their way to check on mum during the recent bad weather and communicated really well with me which was massively reassuring. Mum loved her stay and felt like she was on holiday. Highly recommend Stephens place for a getaway.

What a fantastic place, full of thoughtful touches (towels & blankets for the dog, lovely welcome basket of goodies) and a great place to spend a few days walking along the canal. The whole house has been beautifully renovated with underfloor heating and wood burning stoves downstairs, comfy beds upstairs, and a well-appointed kitchen with everything we needed to cook during our stay. 10/10 would recommend!

Perfect little cottage for our short notice stay. Lovely garden space and very quiet which is what we were looking for. Short walk to a lovely pub/restaurant and a shop with all you need. Great base for trips into Newquay and Aberaeron .

Peters place was the perfect peaceful retreat for a birthday celebration. Peter was very responsive to any queries or issues we had. The cottage was well equipped and lovely and warm. Small garden was a great touch for our dog and lovely walks in nearby Mortimer Forest. Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely home.

We chose the area for the off Road bike rides and did 3 different routes. 1. To botanical Gardens. 2. Along the coast to parkland 3. Along the coast the opposite way to the mumbles. Adrian let us leave the bikes in the dinning area which was fab. We were surprised at how much there was to do with the cinema complex walking distance and shopping complex nearby. By chance we had an out of this world food experience at Sticks Pub in Llanstephan and also enjoyed a Greek restaurant called 'Nik's Greek Restaurant. We parked outside the house with no problems. The house is warm and clean. I just wished I bought slippers as the floor was cold downstairs. We look forward to coming back and exploring further.

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location. The cottage was very clean and very well equipped. Carwyn and his dad were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a really lovely addition. Will definitely be visiting again when visiting family in the area.

Booked last minute after another air BnB cancelled on us but so glad! Moongate cottage was perfect. Super clean and cosy, loved the fire. Felt at home right away. Really nice walks in the area, quiet and remote - just what we wanted. Fay was welcoming upon our arrival and was responsive and attentive :)

Fabulous cottage. Anne had had the fire lit for us so was a warm and cosy welcome; it was perfect. This cottage has everything you need, from a full kitchen, very comfortable bed (slept so well) to sitting in the conservatory having breakfast. Perfect stay for us.

We had a really great stay at Phil's cottage. We had a warm welcome and the cottage was immaculate. It was extremely well equipped and had everything we needed for our stay. We were very grateful that Phil could accommodate our last minute booking. It will certainly be our accommodation of choice when visiting the area in the future. We had a great stay at the cottage! Beautiful peaceful location with fantastic walks. We really loved the milk, bread, eggs, butter and mince pies provided by Kirstie. The cottage was warm, cosy and prefect for a weekend getaway. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely family stay at the cottage with our dogs. The location is perfect for some great walks straight from the door and the cottage is very cosy and has everything you need. The hosts were helpful and easy to contact when needed.
