We needed an escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It was very peaceful and relaxing to get out of town for a few days and leave the world behind. If that’s what you’re looking for you’ll find it here.

Overall we had a lovely stay. Everything was as described in the listing and it was a great base to explore Yosemite from. It was easy to find, the bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The hot tub was great! We found a few things the cleaners seemed to have missed, which we communicated to Jessica; she did mention getting the cleaners to come back but we had just been cleaning up ourselves as we discovered them. There was firewood outside, but none dry inside, and no matches, fire starters or kindling. We let Jessica know but need to buy our own matches, etc; a bit troublesome since the fire is the main source of heating for the house. Jessica did let us know the day we checked out about a specific wood pile that was supposed to be drier than the one by the door we used. Once the fire was lit the house was very warm. We'd definitely recommend Jessica's property - it's in a great location and was a really cosy place for a winter holiday.

For our 20 yr anniversary we want take a break from all our hard work. We said peaceful, cabin-esq, fireplace, gorgeous scenery that looks and smells like fall, and a hot tub. Sara And Tony's place delivered that and more on a silver platter. Everything was pristine upon arrival clean , beautiful carpet in bedrooms, comfortable beds, relaxing living room, and all the conveniences you could want. The hot tub was so clean, natural gas plumbed to the grill and fire pit. Plenty of seating around the wrap around porch. We loved that they didn't have a long list of chores, they were prompt with communication. We rolled right into the driveway and opened the door to a little peace of heaven! We can't wait to come back!!! Thank you for thinking of everything, so we didn't have to!

Was an amazing stay and nice spot for what we needed. Is close to the main road so abit of passing traffic but quiet at night.

Bob & Barbara's place was fantastic and they were so responsive to the couple questions we had! The home is perfect for a Yosemite visit. It is literally less than 10 minutes from the South Gate of Yosemite and only about 20 minutes to Oakhurst. The entire home is so cozy and so clean! We especially loved the hot tub after long days in the park. We also really enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen which we were able to make full family meals in over the New Year's holidays. The fireplacewas great to cozy up to and read or watch a movie. We truly had the best time and cannot wait to come back!

My wife, 2 dogs, and I loved staying here! There was plenty of space on the property for our dogs to run around. The house was great and cozy! The hot tub was a plus, too! We would definitely recommend this place!

This was a great cabin and was perfect to relax with friends! Location was private, but close to town and the scenery was beautiful. Would definitely stay again :)

We enjoyed our stay. Check in was flawless. Carolina was quick, friendly and proactive. Her house was perfect for our families with 2 toddlers. The toys, puzzles bath toys and set up kept our littles busy. They have great amenities that many houses don’t. The outdoor fire pit and jacuzzi were a perfect touch. It allowed my husband to have some couple time while the littles were asleep. There’s also a creek and dog park that we walked down to each day. I was surprised that the kids room isn’t fully enclosed. There is about 2 feet of the ceiling wasn’t attached, due to the angled roof. Anytime our littles were sleeping we needed to be extra quiet when in the kitchen or avoided it all together. We also brought our hatch sound machine and placed it in the kitchen, due to our kids being light sleepers. It was a great stay. We plan on coming back!

Beautiful place! The home accommodated our family very well and it was especially nice to have a bathroom for each bedroom. The host was very responsive and helped us immediately.

Such an adorable, cozy cabin! Sara was very responsive before the trip and during with any questions I had. A lot of things seemed newly remodeled/renovated. Smart AC/TV. Beautiful bathroom/decor with nice flooring. Clean bedrooms free of clutter and a lot of space for two families to comfortably stay with their own bathrooms.

Beautiful cabin! We stayed during Christmas time there was a tree with lights and decor which made our stay so special. There is a lot of space, very clean and over all a warm comfy space. Any questions we had the host responded right away and would also check in to make sure our stay was going good. Will definitely be coming back!

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin-it’s stylish and beautifully designed! The view from the patio is stunning, making it the perfect spot to sip your morning coffee while soaking in the scenery. The property features two cabins: the main house and a smaller cabin, each with its own bathroom. The kitchen, though compact, is well-equipped and ideal for a couple of people cooking at the same time. There’s no dishwasher, which means washing a lot of dishes if you’re staying with a larger group;) and there’s no grill available. The fireplace in the living room isn’t functional, but there is a working fireplace on the lower level, which we appreciated. The property has two driveways. The lower driveway is gentler and more comfortable, while the upper one is quite steep. If you have a car with low clearance, be prepared - it took us a few hours to park carefully without damaging the cars. For 4WD vehicle, it won’t be an issue. Overall, this cabin is a wonderful getaway spot. Thanks!

We had a party of 9 with 4 adults/ 5 kids and it was the perfect cabin getaway! 2 big bedrooms down stairs with THE COMFIEST beds and a bathroom to share. A big room upstairs with room for 6 to sleep and a bathroom to share up there too. A nice touch in the upstairs bathroom was the sink and mirror being separate from the shower and toilet. The tankless water heater made it so we could all shower and not worry about the water going cold. Shelley was quick to respond with any questions we had which made us feel even more welcome. The extra touches we loved were the patio blankets for keeping warm around the fire pit, cozy blankets for watching movies from the couch, and front porch seating for watching the sunrise. The large kitchen island made prepping meals a breeze and the large table was perfect for meals together and board games. Not more than 30 minutes away we took hikes with waterfall views and had lunches on picnic tables by the lake. I would absolutely recommend this cabin!

Absolutely Perfect Stay at the Cali Cabin! This cabin exceeded our expectations! The property was spotless, and the thoughtfully arranged interior created a relaxing atmosphere. The host was incredibly responsive and kept the cabin well-stocked with essentials. The kitchen was a highlight with new appliances and mountain views. The location was ideal - walking distance to local food options, short drive to Bass Lake and Oakhurst, and about an hour to Yosemite's West entrance. Perfect size for 2-4 people with bedrooms on both floors. The heating system kept us cozy during chilly mornings and nights. All amenities worked perfectly, including the full-sized washer/dryer. The best part was the stunning environment - mountain views by day and stargazing by night. A true gem for anyone seeking a peaceful getaway. Can't wait to return!

The cabin was a great little getaway and a short drive from where I was coming from. The house was clean, comfortable and warm. The upstairs bathroom shower head was a little awkward, you had to hold it by hand to rinse off. No one in the house had a cold shower the water was nice and hot. The living room size was perfect for the family. The deck was a perfect hang out spot with a cup of coffee in the morning. Great hiking spots near by and Bass Lake just a short drive away.

Cozy Cottage for Couples! Loved the peaceful vibes and positive energy. Phil greeted and welcomed us with a lovely tour of the grounds. Lisa was super responsive and helpful with recommendations. Oakhurst is a charming town and perfectly situated near Yosemite, Sierra Natl Forest, Bass Lake, and so much more - yet it feels pleasantly secluded, and you can't beat the starry nights seen from the property. The BBQ at Smokehouse41 was great, the Mariposa Coffee Roaster should not be missed - say howdy to "Gerry," Judy's donuts were yum, and the Thrift /Antique stores are full of treasures...enjoy the outdoors, majestic nature, and the nearby towns are full of quirky businesses and historical structures and sites. This spot is amazing. Second time we have stayed here. Making lots of great memories with our young kids. So thankful to Bill for sharing his incredible cabin in Shaver. The beds are extremely comfortable. My kids loved the pool table and ping pong table. The cabin really is perfect. Thank you Bill!
