Holiday rentals with lake access in Tolland County

We have family in Coventry and this was close to them and right at the lake. We were only there a couple days so didn't get to enjoy the lake very much since we were at a wedding and stuff but it was a nice view and quiet. The house was very clean and the teens had fun playing games and enjoyed the little chipmunk family out back. We'll definitely stay again if it's available when we visit.

Our stay at Vanessa's house was tranquil and picturesque. The washing machine broke down a few days before our arrival, but Vanessa remained on top of it, and made sure it was in working order before we checked in, which we appreciated tremendously. We couldn't beat the view of the water and only wish it had been a bit warmer so that we could have appreciated the gorgeous back porch area. Thank you, Vanessa!

I came here in the dead of winter for a writer's retreat with a fellow writer- AND I WOULD DO IT AGAIN! It was a beautiful and inspiring place to write. Perched on Andover Lake, it was too cold to frolic outside but that was actually liberating. There was a rocking chair-ottoman combo in the master bedroom looking out on the lake and watching it freeze while I worked on some writing was so peaceful and perfect. When I needed to switch it up, there was a writer's desk with the same view and I can not overstate how nice and productive it was to work from it. I am sure in the summer it's a really fun stay (there were kayaks and a dock for swimming) but I actually loved being isolated in such an idyllic place. It's near a few other homes but the road was low traffic enough for a cold weather run around half the lake. Marcie was super helpful with suggestions for places to eat. We didn't actually use the recs - but that only speaks to how nice the house was and how hard it was to leave!

The Nest was perfect! A Beautiful winter retreat for a couple of days. Cozy interiors and nature outside your window invites you to just relax here… and that’s just what I did. Books, plants and comfortable spaces to let the outside world pause. Jennifer is pleasant and so accommodating from the start of our communications through my stay. I went into nearby Storrs for some great restaurants. If I’m ever in CT again I’d love to make this a repeat spot. Respectfully Reviewed.

Marian’s property was extremely well-appointed, comfortable, peaceful, and exactly what I was looking for in a winter getaway . The space kept us entertained and allowed us to create great holiday memories. The kitchen, bathroom, and every space in this home was absolutely spotless. The home was well-appointed with high-quality cooking utensils, pots, and pans. There were plenty of towels, bathroom essentials, and the toys for the kids were an absolute plus. Finally, the view and the tranquility associated with the lake was great. Fire pit outside and fireplace inside allowed for the family to congregate comfortably and create wonderful memories. We can’t wait to stay here again!

I appreciated all the snacks and drinks that were included. Bathroom was stocked with everything you'd need and there was detergent for the washer too

My adult children stayed in Thomas's cottage and it worked out great for us. It was close to our main house and there was plenty of room for them. Unfortunately our stay was in the winter so we couldn't take advantage of the lake area, which is a beautiful area. The house had everything that we needed and we would definitely come back again. I highly recommend this property. It was perfect for our Christmas visit with family. The furniture and beds were very comfortable. We truly enjoyed our stay in East Hampton. We will be back!

Our stay was amazing! The views from the balcony were so beautiful and the place looked just like how it did in the pictures. Everything was up to date and easy to use. The host was very responsive and checked in to make sure everything was working good. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay at Andrea’s. We have already booked our 2nd stay. Very quiet! Beautiful views of the Connecticut River. Very comfy bed, nice hot shower and nice living room to sit and relax. Close to great restaurants in Deep River an Chester. Only a few minutes away from great highway access.

Margie’s place is an amazing hidden gem. The inside is very clean and comfortable. The outside is an experience of its own. The lake will drop your blood pressure immediately. Gorgeous surroundings. The dogs are friendly and lovable. We will be back! 👍🏼

Great weekends get away here for a comedy show in Hartford worth the money spent

We had a grate time at Denys lots of room for us all we. Had a large group we love. All the wood work on the main floor just lovely thank for allowing us to have extended stay that was soooooo convenient for us. Not many Airbnb offers it.😌 again thanks and much blessings 🙏

The space was in pristine condition—spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the biggest surprises was the provision of homegrown eggs and pancake mix, which made our mornings extra special. Our children were thrilled with Alexa :) and the age-appropriate games provided, keeping them entertained. The attention to detail and warm hospitality were truly 10/10. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful retreat or a family-friendly getaway, this Airbnb is an absolute gem. We can’t recommend it enough and would love to return!

We had a fantastic stay at Elisa's place! The space was impeccably clean and the pictures don't do it justice. The attention to detail was amazing. The beds were so comfortable with the space having so many supplies and amenities we wanted for nothing during our stay. Perfectly located with access to restaurants and local artisan shops, it was convenient to downtown and had ample free parking. Elisa was incredibly accommodating with quick responses. The house was comfy. Great places to eat within walking distance. The view, absolutely beautiful. If you are looking for a place to get away and relax, this is the place.

Was the perfect little get away for us. And it was nice to find a place that accommodated the dogs so well. We appreciated being able to get to places easily but at the same time have a peaceful place to return to.

Even though we only stayed one night we loved staying here! The house is great and has everything you could need. The lake was beautiful and we loved seeing the horses on the property as well! We would definitely stay here again!!

This is a super cute cottage that is well decorated and has a fully stocked kitchen. Everything felt new. It was a cozy place to watch movies on cold nights with a gas fireplace. About a 12 min (pretty) drive to UConn. Julie was a wonderful hostess—so responsive. I highly recommend this place!

Brenda place was beautiful with a beautiful view especially when we work up to some light snow on the lake. The layout of the house was ideal for us with the big open living room and great updated kitchen. So many comfortable beds for us to use. Our favorite places were the sun room and dining rooms looking out at the lake, Brenda was was kind and helpful and adding a Christmas tree for us was a beautiful touch . Quiet and quaint, this was just what my sister and I needed while visiting our elderly father who lives around the other side of the lake.

My wife and I returned as guests for our Birthdays Getaway weekend, and we recalled why we loved everything about the space from our first visit; its location and inspiring decoration and modern, user-friendly functionality. This was a bitter cold weekend across the northeast, and although we stayed mostly indoors when not exploring the Connecticut River Valley's galleries and cafés, Beriozka's outdoor amenities (deck, patio, fire pit, grill, outdoor kitchen) reminded us we need to experience this hidden gem in summer. The space and furnishings and luxurious surfaces were sparkling clean. Thermostats throughout the ingenious layout were easy to find and to set comfort zones throughout. Everything functioned as intended — no quirky makeshift anything, special instructions, etc. I might have guessed all the appliances and fine china and flatware were brand new — but Yulka's the guestbook proved others guest had enjoyed the perfection before. We'll be back for sure! Thank you Yulka.

The cottage is a beautiful retreat on Cedar Lake, perfect for a little getaway! The place itself is cozy but with plenty of space for what we needed, and a gorgeous deck right on the water. Couldn’t get enough of the outdoor space! Quiet neighborhood and incredibly close to the restaurants and shops of Sturbridge. Amazing stay!
