Holiday houses in Tokomaru Bay

Was a great place to stop - beautiful scenery off the porch, made our own dinner and the kitchen had everything we needed. Great spot!

Would recommend Nicki’s place to everyone and in particular rural people. Very friendly and hospitable- to the point it was like home away from home. Our visit proved, once again, that we, in NZ, live in a small village.

I booked this accommodation for my colleagues and they loved it. It was a perfect place for what they needed while working away from home. Excellent communication with the hosts. Would definitely book again in the future.

Upon our arrival, we were greeted by our friendly hosts of The Shed. Lest you are misled by such a humble name, let us share the wondrous experience we had staying there. It's a really well-designed haven with personally curated furnishings and a fabulous view of the orange orchard. We were generously treated to their specialty - freshly picked citrus fruits and orange juice. After a restful night in their abode, we made a simple breakfast with ingredients provided. We missed the opportunity to explore the orchard as we had a long drive ahead of us. We highly recommend to others.

Great place to stop off for a night on our trip down the East Coast. Pine greeted us on arrival and was very welcoming. The place had everything we needed. We really loved the fresh fruit in the fruit bowl from his fruit trees!

We were blown away by the very pleasant home after a long drive on twisty roads. I especially loved the recliners that allowed a relaxing change from the car. The beds were great, although sleep time was too short since we met our guide for Mt. Hikurangi at 4:00 am. In short, it was an amazing experience and one we will remember for a long time.

Vaughn's place was exceptionally clean, neat and tidy. It is on their property behind their house but very private. All amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Unfortunately the weather was miserable but Vaughn provided us with umbrellas for our use. Tolaga is very quiet with minimal services and most of the shops would not take Australian debit cards but we managed.

We had a great stay at this bnb, on a trip with my in-laws. We were only planning to stay one night but when we arrived, decided to stay an extra night to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Beautiful property and my in-laws loved the views and sunrises from the yurt.
