Beachfront holiday rental in Tobermory

This place is in a still location right by the water. It’s just like described. We could hear the waves on the shoreline from our beds. It was a so peaceful and private. The cottage had everything we needed. The cute garden gnomes all around the property were adorable. We enjoyed watching the stars while sitting by the firepit. We went in the fall so it was cool out, but I’m sure the kayaks and water toys would be amazing in the warm season. We will definitely be back again!

We had a lovely stay at this unique place! It was very clean, and well appointed with anything we could have needed. The place looks just like the photos except the styling and decor are even nicer in person! The 3 bedrooms (2 rooms with 1 queen bed each, 1 room with a set of bunkbeds) would make it great place for a family or close friends travelling together. We loved that it is walking distance to the restaurants and shops downtown and just steps to the beach! I also appreciated that there are 2 parking spaces and laundry which I imagine would be useful for those booking a longer stay. We would certainly stay here again -- thanks for a great trip!

This was our second year at Carrie and Dan's cottage and once again my family and I had a fantastic time. The house is perfectly situated on the river with a nice beach and it has all of the amenities needed. Dan communicated regularly and checked in with us to ensure we had everything we needed. This is a beautiful property which anyone would have fun at.

loved our visit. Great little spot to get away espically with our German Shepherd. big yard and the fenced in area was incredible for him to just go outside when he wanted. sauna was well used. clean and great communication

Kathy's place was beautiful and spacious. We were a group of 7, with 4 children total and we had lots of space. It was clean and in a great location. We were there in the winter but look forward to visiting in the summer sometime as well!

Beautiful, secluded property, Great Lake views Cottage is as photos show, great space and light. Loved the wood stove as well and had a great snow filled stay. Top notch Weber BBQ for those steaks! Very comfy beds. Host is friendly and responsive. We would come back to this place for sure

I did the stay as a shared space with Fran, though sometimes she has the whole house available. Fran was super communicative and is a lovely person to share space with. We kind of hit it off so spent a bit of time hanging out together at the fire pit, but she was not obtrusive and was totally respectful of guest privacy as well. The location was gorgeous - right on the beach - a great value for money - any other high season waterfront property would cost way more. Her house is in an enclave of other cottages but her place has a really private feel even though other cottages are close. I had a really nice stay.

Had a small bachelor party here recently and I couldn’t be happier! The hosts are the kindest and most helpful people ever! They went above and beyond and were always making sure we had everything. They gave recommendations on where to go and what to do, but they were also respectful of our time and space. Karen and Russell were very gracious hosts, it is a basement apartment but it wasn’t too loud upstairs and we were as quiet as we could be without restricting our own fun. The area is great and even the neighbours were nice and friendly. There’s lots to do around, and it’s not far from the village, where there’s more to do. I will be coming back with my wife and son, I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a decent priced accommodation in a lovely area.

Idyllic gem on Georgian bay. Perfect for a small family getaway by the lake. The resort pool is a big plus for the kids. Beautiful surroundings and stunning sunsets. Jefferson is a great host. Very friendly and responsive. He kindly accommodated our request.

the cottage was really cute and it was right on the water with gorgeous views. we stayed in late December/January so the weather was as you would expect in canada but I would imagine that being right on your own private beach during the summer would be spectacular. I would definitely come and stay again. Janna was a great host and responded promptly to any inquiries we had. thank you for a great stay and we will see you again

We had an amazing stay! It was our second time staying and everything was perfect. It’s a cozy cottage with an at-home feel. Set the pilot light in the gas fireplace for us and let me know in advance, and offered to come pick up chairs after a windstorm the night before our stay. Very lovely host with a very speedy response time and a wonderful property!

It was great to stay at this location. My siblings who came from UK and USA were impressed with the location and the way the unit is maintained with all the amenities provided. Look forward to stay there again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Huron cottage in Mac's Shacks, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The facilities were in excellent condition, clean, and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing stay. The host was prompt and responsive in their communication, making the check-in and check-out process seamless and providing helpful information throughout our stay. The lake was stunning, offering beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. I highly recommend this cottage for anyone looking to enjoy a tranquil getaway in Bruce Peninsula.

The home was spacious and comfortable. The added amenities were so wonderful and it was fully stocked with towels and shampoo/ conditioner as well as body wash. All the beds were great and each person from our family slept great. The kids loved the play room and shooting hoops. The views were scenic and stunning. Soaking in the hot tub while overlooking the lake and seeing sailboats in the distance was very peaceful. What a great find. The host Marisa was kind, thoughtful and even left us some goodies! We would highly recommend this rental location to anyone.

Incredible property with great amenities and beautiful surroundings. Enjoyed the stay very much with friends, everything was as described, easy instructions and hosts were super responsive. Lights in the backyard were not working due to electrical shortage and they came right away and fixed it immediately. Very satisfied.

Jane was an amazing host with a beautiful home and peaceful, gorgeous waterfront garden. She was responsive even before we got there with local recommendations and while we were there as well. She ensured we had everything we needed and really opened up her home to us. Would definitely stay again if I was back in the region!

This is a stunning cottage, the view out the back is breathtaking. My husband and I were here celebrating our anniversary. Even in November it’s a beautiful location and far less people during this shoulder month. As Tesla owners it was incredibly helpful to have a Tesla charger right there on the property, especially in a somewhat remote location. The owners were very helpful and quick to respond. We definitely hope to come back someday with our kids.
